Hi. I'm new to this forum. Coming from various differerent places and found this seems to be the place to go for BBBR discussion. I mean, other fighting game communities don't seem to have as much discusssion about BBBR as this one does, am I right?

So yeah, I decided that I could learn some BBBR, tested out a few characters and found out that Kinako, Daigo, Ren and maybe, just maybe Sanzou could be my choices to main (that is also in order like "most interesting to least interesting"). The wiki just doesn't have like any info on any of these characters as far as combos and such go. So I find that rather unfortunate. I'm not good at finding combos on my own either. So I decided to register here and ask you guys. Do any of you know basic combos for these characters, I'd mostly prefer Kinako, but any of the others will do too.

Thank you in advance and I hope I'm welcome here.

Actually I just decided that there was too much of a lack of info and stuff for kinako and was going to remedy it soon. So check in every now and then, I should post up some stuff for her soon. Although my true main will be erika (gundan) I'll also have kinako as a second main (I'd call it a sub but I like her too much to just use her sparingly).

Sounds good, Achtzehn. I'm going to start recording these combos for the Wiki. Starting with mine of course.

Checked the Wiki. VERY nice new combo. I'll mess with it later today.

New update (1.04a) is just recently out. Sadly for me, for some unknown reason, the update is always fail :<

Anybody know what kind of change is applied in this new update...?

■ System

・キャラクター選択画面で、キャラクター選択後にスタートボタンでキャンセルできるように変更(ストーリモードを除く)。

・トレーニングモードとVS CPUにおいて、操作キャラクター選択後に相手キャラクターとして神威を選択できるように変更。

 相手キャラクターを選択する際に無頼の左を選択すると出現します。

・トレーニングモードにコマンドリストを実装。

・ステージ選択を仮実装。

・トレーニングモードにマクロを実装。

・トレーニングモードに体力MAX時にのみガードを行うオプションを追加。

・特定のタイミングで↓↓コマンドが暴発することがあるのを修正。

・SE、VOICE、BGM音量の調整で、10以下の数値は1単位で調整できるように変更。

・特定環境下でPAD1、PAD2のキーコンフィグが入れ替わってしまう不具合を修正。

・ヒットストップ中に衝突判定が行われない不具合を修正。

・同時押しキャンセルの不具合を修正。

・ガード方向を向き依存から位置依存に変更。

・ジャンプの入力方向の適正化。

・一部のキャラが、投げぬけ時特定条件化で不正な動きをする不具合を修正。

・ビッグバンモード中のBカウンターはビッグバンモードゲージを3分の1消費。Bバースト、Bエスケープはモードが解けるように変更。

■ Kunagi

・Bエスケープが出せなかった不具合を修正。

・飛翔から空中M蒼き影・神速にキャンセルできるように変更。

・蒼き爪・鬼の最低保障ダメージを減少。

・瞬天殺の最低保障ダメージを上昇。

■ Senna

・ビッグバンモード時に体力が自然回復するように変更。

■ Heita

・起き上がり時間を調整。

・ビッグバンブレイク後、特定条件で暗転が解除されなかった不具合を修正。

・スーパー陣内流ライジングドラゴンの受身不能時間を縮小。

・ビッグバンモード時にBカウンターを出した場合、漢気ストックがある場合は1ストック消費するように変更。

■ Sanzou

・Dボタンに「鋼鉄の守り」(新技)を追加。

・ビッグバンモード時に「鋼鉄の守り」の成功フレーム延長効果追加。

・超鉄壁のBストーン発生量を減少。

■ Ren

・火炎瓶が特定条件で正しく動作しない不具合を修正。

・弓道のコマンド入力方向を剣道依存に変更。

・立Hの攻撃判定を下に厚く変更。

Lol, I though it was just me. And yeah, it keeps failing till now, so I think I will give up try to updating today... :<

Btw, I can't read moonrune well, so I just ask it here... do this patch give netplay feature...?

if you want I can record my combo, I know its hard to do. I'm also trying to figure out a good combo from a 214b hit that leads back into a hard knockdown since my idea for erika is all about abusing shoko to force them to block whatever mixup you want. I also want to work on kinako since she also has strong okizeme games in that regard. After playing tager for 2 years I realized the value and importance of good okizeme (seeing as how tager has NONE save for gadget flinger but that's a different discussion entirely) and these two characters are okizeme power houses.

EDIT: from what I could tell just putting erika and kinako's changes through google translate looks like erika had some change made to her throw against senna? I think, and kinako finally got her mystery 214H that I could never seem to get to come out. There was something else about kinako's 623M but google translate made it so vague I couldn't figure it out.

EDIT again: I was able to update to 1.04a, so hopefully everyone else should be able to as well (as I saw some people were having trouble with it, usually I'm the one who has problems due to somewhat sketchy internet connection). I'll try and figure out the changes for some characters since I can't determine changes for characters I never tried in the first place.

If YOU want to, you can go for it. Otherwise I could probably do it just fine. It doesn't seem that bad compared to the crazy things I've done before.

Sure, I'll do it, I already have it mostly down anyway so it'll be a bit easier (afterall I made it). I'll probably get to it later this evening as I'm headed out to a local tournament. I'll also work on more combos later tonight too and record them as well, I'll also edit the wiki for the combos once I've recorded them so that people can have a visual reference on how it should go. Also I was right about the changes kinako's mystery 214H finally works :yaaay:.

EDIT: after tinkering with my video capture program for like 2 hours I gave up on it recording anything of decent quality (as well as with sound) I'll try to find a different capture program early in the morning and do it then.

Okay, there apparently is a way for Burai to throw someone, and get full damage on the following combo, but it uses (what I hope is) a bug, and the timings pretty strict. (Tested in training mode with all block on.)

When you throw an opponent, press 5D just before Burai hits him. The hit will be cancelled, his dash will come out instead, and you have barely enough time to followup with a 5B. In the corner, you can use 5B directly instead of a 5D, or even another throw... leading to an infinite loop of throws in the corner. (That does no damage, btw.)

EDIT: Wait, just realized that this game had a throw tech, so an infinite loop of throws doesn't really make sense >_<.

Don't worry, I got this. The combo's nowhere near as hard as you made it sound. I'll record it in just a few.

Yeah, just figured if people were having a hard time with the previous one this one wouldn't be any easier lol. I didn't think it was that hard though so I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks that way. Go ahead and record it since I can't really, working on some 214B starter combos that result in the same setup, look forward to it.

Damn I feel so overwhelmed trying to make combos for kinako. I can't help but feel any combo I make is too paultry to be used in combat. I can't even begin to think of how to use her tools for okizeme games and ridiculous setups. I like this character alot already, but I just can't make any headway with her... Where's a japanese video of some kinako when you need one?

Yeah, as a person who was asking them sometime ago I feel the same way. Especially when I'm not the best combo brewer.

The thing that makes me mad is that I know I saw a video showing off some amazing combos and setups for her, I just cannot for the life of me find it. I know its on nico though, just not sure how the hell to find it.

EDIT: After looking through the thread it seems that there has been work done for kinako, and the video I remember was posted here. Turns out my memory betrays what was actually in the video. Oh well, I'll use the combos that were in the vids and posted. I'll still be working on some of my own of course, hopefully just as good or better (and of course I will create some devestating okizeme setups). I'll also see if I can fill out the wiki page for kinako with all the info since as of right now it's still as barren as a desert (shit son, there isn't even a character portrait).
