You quite correct, so in all it uses 100% Tension. If you just read the first post I list (koko kara midokoro desu yo! "From now on, it's a promise!"), and you follow it up with (Shichousha zenin saabisuu "Service for all those who are watching").

I'm from West Monroe, I might go home for Texas Showdown in April. We'll have to see how well LA represents.

I prefer to do something simple after the command grab. I usually just do 214HS,5K,JC, j.K, j.S, j.HS (maybe land throw in a 6HS->item)

So just saw the flower launch we were discussion. It indeed happens, but the person playing wasn't able to combo off of it. Also saw the scalpel pull FB for the first time.

Until we get Faust vids showing more of his new potential, we just won't know. Where is the love for Faust in Japan?

Well in the Loke test the flower would float the enemy after a 236.S knockdown, but it's not in the new AC wiki. Edit: My bad, it is. The flower floats, and pops up farther away from Faust. I'm not sure if the float occurs only on knockdown from slide, or still causes float on counter.

The new item appears to be a silver cylindrical object, I guess you could call it a U.F.O. I thought at one point it looked like a wok. In all the vids of Faust I've watched, haven't seen one person use the ground flower after a pogo knock-down. It wouldn't be possible anyway with the recovery frames of the pogo unless they were in the corner. I'm not sure how the slide effect works after an opponent hits the wall though. It's already been mentioned in the lok tests, but Eddie's stage is cool as hell, with the sea of blood/blood instead of dust when jumping. Any word on other moves that cause "stick" against the wall, like Sol and HOS's normal throw?

Against May, you gotta block. She's going to counter you if you try to 5k during her during her riding the dolphin most of the time. Well actually it could trade. You're going to not be able to do 6p during her pressure strings, just block and be patient.

Thanks for your help, even though I sounded like a Jerk. It vastly improved my game. Also realising that Baiken's command does not block low alowed me to do the sweep into pogo. It made it much more risky for my room mate to defensive run. :grin:

If you have played slash, what poke is safe? Rerere sure isn't, you can't cancel into an item. Standing slash definently isn't, cancel on hit, and get hit by Baiken's counter. Throw and item expect to get hit by air dash js. The only thing I can think to do is bate her running deferense and then do a crouching dust, because she can not block low in that state. Maybe you just haven't been playing a Baiken with Faust that takes full advantage of her abilities

Maybe you haven't played any decent Baikens, but my opponent can counter or defensive run on react. Poking becomes very risky playing with Baiken in this manner. There is not much I can do when Baiken goes into her defensive run, except try to get as many hits until he runs out of hits he can pass, but this is always really dangerous.

I have more trouble with Baiken than any other character. She can run through all my barrage and react counter to almost everything. Is it just me or is this a really bad matchup for Faust? If it's not, what should I do against Baiken that is different than other characters?
