  1. I use ice swords like they're I've only got a minute to use them. I've pretty much dropped the bnb air combo and now just shoot for j/236D to nget them airborne, I rely on the DP's a lot... I j236A/B/C to keep opponents away. my defense is rubbish I can't IB and mostly barrier block and I can't punish for shit. I generally use a hit and run style snf likr to stay airborne and like to combo into air combos I guess... if the opponent can keep up I'm screwed. I don't have any videos... I don't know how... my crossover tool is JD because if it fails 214C and I escape... sometimes... I suck at getting past blockers, especially low. I rarely use DD's. and I suck

  3. oh... that's actually pretty nice for replays and training/learning EDIT: could 5C>2C>JC>JD>ice car/ice swords replace the old 5B>5C>JB>JC>JD>ice car/ice sword. it's not quite the same and is probably less powerful but if do the JD>236D> dash>JB>J2C>J2C>214B it's worth it... maybe... please say yes
  4. when the combo meter goes blue I see this thing in the corner, below the count and above the damage, that shows a series of numbers. what do they mean?

  9. well blocking ice car works but if it's 214B then they might 623A which could flip things around and counter you if you didn't punish fast enough though if you block that then... well Jin may have some problems... unless he RC's (which he won't)

  11. as a Jin main I've been knocked off the ice car a few times by 6A but you have to time it right though the best option is to ID straight through it
  12. his new super looks cool though. the problem is most jin players aren't used to turtling moves so it will be a while before we see it commonly used. but the reality is that it it will be very helpful, no more using ice arrows to beat rushdown. And eventually someone will find a combo for it... hopefully

  15. the best thing I can say about Ragna vs Jin is this: if you stay close to him you will win just keep pressure on Jin and you have a good chance and make sure never ever, get beyond mid range Jin will rape at that range

  18. how come the Ice lasts so short? I mean the difference between ice and stun are real but shouldn't time be the most obvious?
  19. does 236D> dash> 2b (still possibly freeze [timing])>air combo. still work EDIT: wow his freeze doesn't last long at all I've seen normal stun last longer if only there was a arbitrary meter that dictated how long it lasted I'm to tired to think about that now though.
  20. I started on Ragna (I'm so original:v:) and then I tried jin... that was that I'd rather make enemy hold still so I can attack then drain their life plus sekkajin was a fighting game noobs best friend

Well it's not garuanteed but it's definitely safe worst case scenario opponent blocks it and you both land and keep fighting. the best you hit and assuming you jumped only once you can do something like: 236C dash and I guess jD and 214B or something are you fucking serious I had to spend 100 heat in CT to just scrape the 7000 mark EDIT: I think the reason they added the counter super was to make him more balanced defense and offense wise and offense needs various options whereas defense needs far fewer so the the counter is to raise his defense game. because he is the "balanced" character

  23. it's looking like it's easier to get long combos or maybe it's just the players... but I rarely see Jin combos go near 20
  24. hope not reoposting I have 2 1.) lagging/glitching through yukikaze with 623B (seriously I thought I was dead and swing nothing) 2.) stopping magna tech wheel with 5C it was hilarious 3.) maybe just against rachel but when ice car is blocked both move across screen equal distance for ice car
