  1. I'm going to keep ignoring the current topics and post another video: BOOM A MS. FORTUNE TOUCH OF DEATH STARTING WITH NO METER:
  2. At the moment there is no confirmed way to followup Tsubame mid-screen. But that's not to say it's entirely impossible. Whiffing the final hit may still allow you to combo after it, but it looks like the untechable time from the first few hits has been decreased.
  3. I finished my Julia/Vega video, with super duper ugly video quality because my computer sucks!
  4. There are too many posts flowing into this thread all at once, I can hardly keep up. @_@
  5. @Alphakami: I finally got the time to try out some combos in training mode, and I found a few ways to land UF+MK with King after a few HK DP tag combos. Mid-Screen you can't get much, but if you land HK DP while very close to the opponent you can dash and do UF+MK for a full King combo, does pretty good damage. If you land it slightly further away you'll only get 1 hit of Julia's HK DP, and it makes it super hard to land the UF+MK, but if you buffer it during the dash, King will hit them right as Julia does, though you can't get many good followups after it. The damage is no better than a single bar Julia combo with EX Arrow. However, in the corner you can do huge damage from a simple tag combo, so I do encourage you to use it in the corner. Otherwise, there's no reason to do it.
  6. Ah, I see. Thank you for the clarification. From the sound of it, you must play SFxT, or at least follow it a fair bit. Who do you use?
  7. I don't think it completely unscales the damage, but I remember there being a whole video about it stopping the huge proration that gets thrown onto a Tag Launcher, allowing for better combos.
  8. Sure, I can do some testing. Your best bet is probably a Tag Launch cancel (I don't know the exact term for it, but you cancel a meterless tag launcher with a another tag, stopping the huge recovery and unscaling the damage by a large margin) or a HK DP Tag Cancel. I'll try some stuff out later on today and get back to you with my findings, and I'll tell you if I find anything else new. Also, that dream sounds amazing. Milln talking like Robin Williams is something I want to see in person. EDIT: I totally forgot to mention that I bought a bunch of my favorite PS1 and PS2 games Saturday. Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 1, 2, and 3, Jak and Daxter 1, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Soul Calibur 2, and 3, Croc (PS1 game), and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep (PSP game), for only $100! It was a good day.
  9. Confrontation is the only way anything can ever be resolved. I typically try to be nice around the forums, but Star, you've been making yourself look really moronic and petty lately. Not only have you been extremely opinionated and hardheaded, but you refuse to have a conversation with anyone who disagrees with you. From my point of view, it seems that you don't want to admit you're wrong about anything. If you're going to start throwing around crap, bashing/praising games, or try to prove/disprove something, you need to start backing yourself up with some information, as Volpe said. Otherwise you just look like an angry dude who likes to throw around meaningless opinions.
  10. Somewhat, she's pretty meter intensive when it comes to scoring high damage. Thanks to EX Arrow causing a wall-bounce now she can get around 400+ for only a single bar from cr.MP hit-confirms and the like. I do agree that she's all about opening people up though, as she has such good range and frame advantage on her normals, sadly she received some pretty heavy nerfs in the patch, and that hurt her pressure game a fair bit. Some aspects of her game I feel were improved overall though, especially in terms of hit-confirming. She does great as a tag parter too, since she can score such huge damage from a tag cancel with F+HP > MP > cr.HP > Tiger Strike. She also has amazing combo potential with a lot of characters due to the flexibility of her move-set. Overall I think she is one of the stronger characters in Ver. 2013, but I don't play the game competitively at all, so I can't really say anything of value in terms of character strength. EDIT: I have never played Persona in a competitive setting outside of the KotB tournament, so the only experience I have ever had with the game has come from netplay. Because of that, I can't judge match-ups well. I rarely fight against people of a strong level, and when I do, netplay does it's thing and makes it hard to take anything away from the experience. Having said that, what little I have been able to take away from some good players I have fought online, I can say that there are some pretty terrible match-ups in this game. I don't completely agree with the notion of Mitsuru vs. Liz being 7-3, but I'm not going to argue against it, as I haven't seen two top players go at it in a competitive atmosphere, making it hard for me to determine anything definite about the match-up. I do think it is in Mitsuru's favor though, as most of her match-ups are. I am pretty comfortable with the notion that Chie vs. Labrys is 7-3 though, I have seen that match-up MANY times in countless different settings, and I see no way for Labrys to ever win that fight. This discussion does interest me, though I'm going to sit out of it past this post, and let you guys go at it. While you are all discussing this, I'd also like to hear what you guys think of Shadow Labrys's match-ups, and who you think she is the best/worst against. (In my opinion, Chie and Teddie are her worst match-ups, and Yukiko and Naoto are her best)
  11. Julia, nice, I've been playing her since the game dropped. She's really fun in SFxT. I've been looking into mainly Julia, Vega, Lili, Poison, Xiaoyu and Ibuki. I feel the most comfortable with Julia, Lili and Ibuki, but I would really like to run Julia/Vega and Lili/Xiaoyu teams. Though knowing myself, I'll probably end up running Ibuki/Lili and just sticking with that single team.
  12. I still need to register. @_@ Who do you use in SFxT? I can't decide on anyone.
  13. I know there is little use for these anymore, but in case you ever CA someone into a bubble: CA > Bubble hits > Dash > 6C > j.236C > j.C > Dash > 6A > 236B= 973 DMG CA > Bubble hits > Dash > 2C > Dash > 6A > 6C > j.236C > j.C > Dash > 6A > 236B= 1106 DMG CA > Bubble hits > Dash > 5C > 2C > 236B > Dash > 6C > j.236C > j.C > 6A > 236B= 1357 (Corner only) Best I could come up with.
  14. Have you never done 6C > 22C before in a combo? If you have ever done a 6C > 22C combo, you've done it in the air.
  15. I've been testing it out to see just how far it will go in Extend, and it goes all the way to where the opponent was before they tech. If you wait until the moment they tech, she will go slightly further, but it will whiff. If you dash before doing j.22C, she will go all the way to where the opponent is after their tech, though the 22C will whiff if they don't reach the corner. It works almost the same as in CP, though CP's 22C still travels further.
  16. If it was a fighter that released on PS3, I probably have it. If you ever want to play a fighter with me just ask, unless I'm already playing with someone else, I'm always free to play other games.
  17. j.B > dj.B > j.C > j.D > j.C does still work, though doesn't do a whole lot of damage anymore. It seems that you cannot special cancel into Kote, though I haven't actually seen or heard anyone confirm it, but at this point it seems impossible for none of the players to have done it in a video.
  18. Wow Volpe, I'm glad nothing too serious seemed to have happened. I hope you and whoever else was with you is okay. Also, Winter Brawl might not happen for me, as it could cost more than my family had originally anticipated. So Final Round is more likely for me right now, and if it's true that BB is going to have a side tournament, then I'm completely fine with going to FR instead of WB. Especially since all of your guys are going as well.

  20. Combos using 4B[m] and all her Daisharin combos. This combo got me particularly excited for her OD.
  21. Last time I asked about it I was told you needed a wired controller to enter any of the official tournaments. But even if I could use my PS3 controller, BB won't be there, and that's the only game worth playing at a major for me. I'd be wiling to play P4U at a major, but not as the only game I go for. Like I said, though, there's still a chance I can make Final Round, as I might be able to stay at my grandfather's house, so that would cut the price a lot.
  22. Dang it guys, am I the ONLY person going to Winter Brawl instead of Final Round? BB is a main game and I can use my PS3 controller at Winter Brawl, if that was the same for Final Round I'd gladly choose that over WB. But come on guys, don't make me go alone! ;_; I might still be able to make FR, but the chances are slim. It'd be nice to have 10-15 MTNG members all enter GG and P4U.
  23. 4B[m] does work like 6A[m] in that it will stay at the tip range of whatever move you did prior to it that involved the staff. So 2B > 4B will increase the range that 4B will hit at, whether or not it reaches all the way to the end of 2B, I don't know.
  24. GGs to Hellknight_10, xntrikcat and TrueGunnerShadow.
