  1. Litchi can now combo after Haku > Hatsu > Chun without a rapid. 6A[e] > 5C[m](1 hit) > 4D > Haku > Hatsu > Chun > 5B > 5C > j.B > dj.B > j.C was roughly 3.4-3.6k.
  2. Check the translations thread in BB General as well, it might have more recent stuff that the Tager forum doesn't have. Tager's been getting A LOT of attention during these location tests. He, Ragna and Hakumen always get the most information posted.
  3. So, I just thought of it a few minutes ago while discussing Platinum with some friends. Since her OD gives her an unlimited use of her current item, she should be able to use Miracle Jeanne Missiles and loop them for like 7-8k damage, if they work like they do in Extend. I like what I'm hearing above as well.
  4. No, that's her puffball, it's a 421C input. It can also cross up the opponent mid-screen.

Skip the j.A and go straight for j.B when you're close to the corner. 5B > 6B > 6C > 214A > IAD > j.B > j.8D > Dash > sj.B > dj.B > j.C > j.236C~214A > j.C > 2C > 4D > 5C(1) > 2C > 236C~214A > 3C > 632146D is 5.5k and is meter positive by 5. With no super it's 55 meter and is 4.5k. They're nice combos, but they need A LOT of Ignis meter.

  7. We haven't seen them, we've just got reports from Japan that she's got the Madoka palettes.
  8. Her command throw was too good. The frame advantage on a blocked bat swing was way too high. The P1 one a CH Cat was too great. Her 6B was impossible to see. Her 2A > 5B gatling was too strong of a combo starter. Her 6C was too strong as an anti-air. Bubbles were way better than all the other projectiles in the game. True story.

  11. 22C causes the opponent to slide across the floor mid-screen and it wallsticks in the corner, so that alone gets rid of 22C oki. I just thought of something though, what if you could do 22C > RC > Run > 22C > RC > Run > 22C? That would be HILARIOUS.

  13. Honestly yeah, Orie is really fun to watch. IMO Hyde and Linne are painfully dull. I'm not a fan of Wald either, but I can handle watching him.
  14. When it comes to Relius, I've given up all hope for him to be good. Also, you signature always makes me hungry for french fries. =(

Ragna kicks straight ahead with his foot > He spins on the floor and kicks the opponent's feet, tripping them > Using one hand, he picks them up by the face, and then punches them in the gut, sending them flying, then they get stuck to the wall > He then dashes after the punch > Ragna does the very same kick that he started the combo with > He raises his sword above his head, with giant purple and red aura's of death following the hit, he then slams it back down, bouncing the opponent off the floor > Ragna raises his sword in a upward motion from the floor, then a giant, evil spike rises from the floor with a demonic face attached to it > Ragna takes his sword, and holds it backwards, with the sword facing away from him, he then leans forward and slashes the opponent > He puts away his sword and then uppercuts the opponent > Ragna then jumps extremely high into the air, and uppercuts with his sword, with a red and purple aura around it, he then jumps and does it again > He takes his sword and angles it downward, he then lunges towards the floor, pushing the opponent all the way down, while hitting them over and over for the full duration with his sword, the opponent then bounces off the floor > He does the same double slash attack done during the begging on the combo with the aura > He jumps super high into the air uppercutting the opponent and launching them very high, he then follows it up with an upward punch and a overhead kick knocking the opponent to the floor. Is that a good enough visual for you? Lol EDIT: Alex, I invited you. Get on already!
  16. Indeed it is, and that's why you'll always be the #BasedScumbagGod, Jackie. I honestly think that the nerf to 5D and 6C was needed. I don't really think it's fair for Ragna to ALWAYS get a combo off of an air hit, for almost 4K damage and corner carry. Almost no one else in the cast can turn every hit against an airborne opponent into a full combo, and he could. I also didn't really like Ragna being able to a hit on a crouching opponent into a full combo, if again, very few characters could. The only other characters aside from him that could do both of those things I would say are Valkenhayn, Tao and Noel. Overall though, he looks just as strong as he was in Extend. And now he's got even better corner carry (22C > Hells Fang > GGs) and some new mixups! I love CP. <3 Also yeah, I can understand that. But even the people who can tell what the changes are haven't been posting anything. Litchi did get a lot of very noticeable changes though. Some of her moves got their staff set orientation changed (4D, 6D), her 6D causes wallstick now, she got a brand new anti-air normal (4B), she got a new Ippatsu move (D while on the staff), a puffball attack, her Haku > Chun string doesn't send the opponent flying anymore, and she got a brand new super. But all of this was from the very first location test. We don't know the functions of her new normals, we haven't even seen her super fully, we have no idea what combo strings work, there is no news on new gatlings or strings being removed, we haven't heard anything about her proration and damage scaling, we still don't know how her OD works. It's all very disappointing, since there is so much that could be tested, but hasn't been. And it's even more disheartening when all the other characters, including Carl, have been getting a lot of playtime. /Rant Some people have been calling it "The Lolicopter" too. Lol I'll play some Persona with you. But I haven't played since King of the Bling. XD
  17. I've always hated watching and playing Ragna. I always found him to be extremely bland and his combos were too straightforward. But in CP the really odd properties on his moves and the funky movement he now has actually intrigues me. I'm very excited to see how he develops this time. In other news, THERE IS NO NEWS! Seriously, why doesn't anyone play Litchi at these location tests? >_< I really like the new Tsuabki changes, but I'm not a fan of all the Platinum nerfs. She got an air version of her Cure Dot Typhoon super though. (The spinny one) And I'm hoping that it looks retarded. :3
  18. Oh yeah. I for some reason kept thinking about it being in OD not her actual install mode. Well, that makes it a lot less exciting.
  19. Another thing that's really great about the 22D guard crush is that you can charge a full stock before following up with a combo. It also guarantees a throw into super, for unburstable damage. I really like that change.

You should go for more damaging Platinum combos, learn how to get 6C > 22C > 5C to connect, so you don't have to do 5A every time, learn the 22C > 6A > 6C > 22C route, stop using Momo for every combo, you should save your bombs more, she's got some good traps with them, quit wasting meter on her install, start converting your j.C's into combos, you need to go for more overheads, use the Pan for j.D and learn a few mixups using the 5D traps ([5Ax3 > 5D]x2] > 5A > Throw being one), try using more Counter Assaults. You've got great defenses, and you throw in good spots. With Relius... You should just drop him like everyone else. Lol It's not worth trying to get better with him.

  23. i hope she keeps the same animation, and you can control the movement like the ground version. So it looks like she's sliding on air. :P
  24. It doesn't matter anyway, the JP players have been saying that it sucks pretty bad. Air CDT is going to look super dumb, I love it.
