  1. You need to delay your Hatsu after the Chun RC, make sure the opponent is above Litchi when Hatsu > Haku connects, so Chun causes the opponent to spin higher. And yes, there is a specific timing needed for each IppatsuA. You need to do small delays in between each one to keep the opponent low enough for all 11 to connect. Once you begin reaching the end of the loop you can start speeding up your inputs, but that's just a matter of preference.
  2. That would be WONDERFUL, I'll wait for my new controller to arrive and try it out for a while first and then let you know how I feel about it in a few days. <3
  3. Dang it man, I wish you didn't show me that. I can't drive and my parents are in NC, so I have no way to get there. That really sucks too, we'll miss you at FR.
  4. Guys, Lauren Landa (Litchi's voice actress) is going to be voicing Squigly in Skullgirls. (My favorite Skullgirls character) I can't handle all the hype between this and Final Round. And speaking which, I really hope I can break in this new PS2 pad by the time FR is upon us. I don't want to show up and not play my best because I'm not using my preferred PS3 pad. If there is someone there that can do it, I'd actually really like to get my PS3 pad wired, that would be nice.
  5. I actually am playing Q-Bee, heh. Q-Bee and Aulbath.
  6. I really wish you had a PS3. =( EDIT: How the CRAP do you play Darkstalkers?
  7. I was going to pick up Darkstalkers today since I've got some money for it on my PSN account already, but I don't have an interest for any of the characters. I've been watching some tournament footage, and the only characters that look remotely interesting to me are Q-Bee and Gallon. It's a shame, Darkstalkers has really cool characters. =/ EDIT: Anakaris and Aulbath are pretty cool too, I might get the game just to try them out.
  8. GGs to Star in BB tonight, I had fun. Also, Milln, I will be going to FR, but obviously I will be going with my family. Heh.
  9. Holding the staff always causes it to shake, but the animation has no affect on how the move works or the properties of the attack. For 5[D] > Chun/6A combos, you want to hold it for just a few moments before letting go. Just under half a second.
  10. Hey guys, this is a tournament signup thread, not a general thread. Keep the off-topic discussions to GGs and arrangements for and after the tournament.
  11. I'm going to refer you back to this post: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?13127-CSE-Litchi-Combo-Thread/page6&p=1456202&viewfull=1#post1456202 You can learn most of your BnB's there, and if you are having trouble with anything, you can ask for more help. As for what you need help with now, you'll have to be more specific.

  16. There is actually a whole slew of things that can be done after a 5A anti-air: Staff: 5A > j.A > j.B > dj.B > j.D CH 5A > 2C > 6D(1) > Dash > 5C > 2C > 6C(1) > Chun > Dash > 5B > j.B > dj.B > j.C > Hatsu > Chun (Or j.B > j.C > 4Kote > AD) (Near corner) CH 5A > 2C > 4D > Dash > 5D/2D > IAD > j.C > Staff 2 > 6D(2) > 5D > Chun > 6D(2) > 5B > 6C(1) > 4Kote > j.B > dj.B > j.C > j.D > Falling j.C > Staff 2 > Sliding 6A (Corner) CH 5A > 6D(2) > Haku > Hatsu > RiichiA > Falling j.B > j.Hatsu > Haku > Chun > Hatsu > RiichiA > IppatsuA > IppatsuB > 5D > Chun > 6D(2) > 5B > 6C(1) > 4Kote > j.B > dj.B > j.C > j.D > Falling j.C > Staff 2 > Sliding 6A (6B can be added before 6D when you are further away from the corner) Staffless: 5A > j.A > j.A > j.C > j.B > Dash > 6C(1) > 4/6Kote > Sliding 6A > 5C > 2C > j.A > j.B > dj.B > j.C > Hatsu > Chun (I'll edit this later with some more staffless confirms) Also, I don't want this to turn into a big combo discussion, please don't start discussing combos after this. Thank you!
  17. Stay slow, Jackie. Speaking of slow, are you free to try out some P4U/BB netplay tonight? I'd like to get some matches in with everyone before FR as practicing. And speaking of which, I'm trying to find a date in which my parents can bring me down for some casuals before FR. Which event usually has the biggest BB/P4U turnouts? Also, GGs to Klein for the matches in GG. I really suck at this game, and I haven't played it in almost a month. I'm glad I managed to win at least ONE match with I-No tonight. I still can't stop mindlessly dashing around, and I can't do any of her combos. ;_; Honestly though, I never practice them, so I can't really complain.
  18. Superior Chest is fantastic, that's fine by me. EDIT: Do you want to be the representative, or shall I?
  19. YOU'RE MINE! What do you want to name our team? We should call it Super Boobs. Uri_WoZ Litchi Tennessee EST
  20. Bro, do you even lift? Speaking of FIYTEN GAEMS Squigly has been fully funded for Skullgirls and will now be added into the game! http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/333003/
  21. Japanese footage doesn't clearly show the tier-list well either. Last month (I think) there were tournaments won by Makoto, Tsubaki, Tager and Bullet, beating out Jin, Hakumen, Carl, Tao, Litchi and other characters considered to be high-tier. It could be that the players were all equal in skill, or perhaps there are things yet to be considered in the tier-lists. And you proved my point in your own post, there WILL be things that shift the tier as the game develops, since the game is still so new, making a tier-list right now has no use, as we know for a fact that it will change, most likely more than we think it will. I'm not saying it isn't useful to see how each character develops, or discussing who is good in comparison to who, but making an actual tier-list is pointless so early. Tier-lists in themselves are very useful, and are important for the competitive scene of a game. But I strongly believe that they are to be held out on until later in the game's life, when things are more solid. I agree with your last statement, though I do trust the opinion of many American players, as America still wins EVO, and a lot of American players have been to Japan to fight the pros over there.
  22. I find it absurd for people to be taking any tier-list seriously in CP. While we can get a small look at what might have some correct placements, this game is still too new for anyone to be making tiers. This time back in CT people thought Nu and Carl were bad, that Tager was top-tier, in CS1 Litchi was considered to be bad, everyone thought CS2 Hazama was going to be terrible, early in Extend Litchi was B-Tier, Relius and Tager were A-Tier, and Jin and Rachel were C-Tier. The above examples are why I don't take any tier-list seriously until the game has been released on consoles all around the world, and after a few Japanese and American majors have finished. BB's tier-lists jump around way too much early in the game's life. Now, if we're talking who we actually think are strong, Litchi, Hakumen, Tao, Azrael, Hazama, Valkenhayn, Mu, Jin, Carl, and Bang all look pretty good to me. As for who we are using, I'm still going to be playing Litchi, Valkenhayn, Relius and Platinum, though I have lost almost all interest in Platinum, so I'm hoping Kokonoe will be added in the console version to fill her spot. :3 Otherwise, I might pick up Carl, Bullet, or Noel.
  23. This is most likely what happened. I would assume you were both moving around and your opponent did 3C at a range where it wouldn't hit until later in the active frames, letting you auto-guard the tip of the move.
  24. I tested exactly this, and it worked. As long as you make Lambda whiff the first 3 hits, you can auto-guard the rest of the move. If you want to try this for yourself, go into training mode and set the Lambda dummy to do 663C, then backdash with Litchi while Lambda is moving forward, then Itsuu. Lambda will whiff the first few hits during the backdash, and Itsuu will guard the rest.
  25. GGs to Hellknight_10, Genesis-OmegaFFX, and Tall31. There is no such thing as "block".
