  2. It seems that all the 3C bullshit ended up being a blessing in disguise, but I agree, dont like it. I dont see any reason to use 3C anymore. Anyways BoT: Just to confirm: would 2B->2C->6C combo point blank? -btw- I dunno about gtfo of the string, what with all those air unblockable moves :S

  4. Wait...so does that mean that 6C has less range? does that work point blank? or they changed 2C so that it launches on normal hit?
  5. Gameplay adjustments dont necessarily mean a bigger download. If they add new sprites/animations/sounds/interfaces then its another story. So far I dont see any new animations, mostly recicled ones. Unless they have to patch large packages in order to access said code sections...I dunno...I'm too sad for Mu's 3c to think straight.
  6. @Edalborez: I'm really not a good player and I also lose to tager a lot, but my advice would be to use less C moves in your blockstrings, they become unsafe against anyone who can IB. Mix it up between 5a/2a/2b. Also try to include 214D in your matches against tager, dont abuse it though. I'm all for laser spam, but try to set it up so that it has a purpose other than keeping him blocking. Add some charged D's in the mix as well. The other thing I noticed is that you set up lots of steins in the air above tager, I wouldnt do that so often, it gives him time to close the gap and if dont space it properly you can be punished for it. I used to do it a lot, since it gave me the impression that it was "safer" to set up steins in the air, I got the feeling that being in the air somewhat protected me from the long recovery of the steins, but after losing matches 'cos of it I tried to tone it down. -btw- I reaaally envy your connection speed, If only I could play with so little lag Q_Q
  7. ASW is trying really hard to make me quit the game....tks god its just a loketest, there's still hope they'll stumble into some common sense in the coming weeks...
  8. I dont get the 3C change at all :S, its not like she has any other real launcher...her entire b&b is dependant on 3C. Maybe they'll really buff 214C (like sword iris fast) in order to pick up characters :S

  10. I would say that you space it properly, I was reading the ragna matchup and found that the general strategy applies to a whole lot of characters. Condition them to fear your range and set up steins whenever posible, but dont get greedy or overly anxious. She can stand her own for a while without steins. Obviously this is all easier said than done, but that would be my advice.
  11. Thats great news then. It would be awesome if they changed 6B in order to make the 6A->6B loop work on every character.
  12. I believe its speculation from the videos. 5C Seemed to be coming out faster and be a tad shorter. Also, for what I understand: is 2C ...faster now...?
  13. 663b is doable online, quite harder, but doable. If you get the feeling of the lag in the match early on, you can get it to come out quite consistently.
  14. Furu no tsurugi works wonders on 3C happy makotos, actually furu no tsurugi works wonders in this matchup, it punishes a lot of jump-ins and asteroid vision setups. Other than that, keep her in range and watch out for the overheads. Dont get cornered...jc beats everything she has in the air (I believe)...all this + steins should make the matchup in our favor. Also keep in mind that I only play online and these are advices of what I do playing online, they might not apply to offline or lagless matches. If there is too much lag, then its totally reversed since mu's normals simply take too long to come out or dont come out at all.

  16. Quick question: his wolf cancels in the air (the wolf air juggle); is it somewhat similar to tao's drive in how it's done?

  18. Anyone has any specific tips to deal with carl? I cant, for the love of me, win against him online. Maybe its the lack of IB and all that stuff that comes with online play, but still...

  20. Hey guys, quick question: do you use any visual cues or something for the 214D cancels into 66A? (like 2b->3c->2b->6a->6c->214D->66A->etc) I simply cannot make the dash to 6a, its either 6a standing still or I dash but they recover before I hit them. I've seen the videos and I still cant figure it out. Any thoughts?
  21. It seems that 5c MIGHT be a bit faster and somewhat shorter, but nothing confirmed.

  23. Quick stupid question: is this combo doable on a regular non CH 3C in the corner? 3C > [2B> 6A > 2C > JC > j.C j.2C > land ] x 2 > 2B > 6A > 2C > j.C j.C > J.2C
  24. Look out for ara's "teleport" when setting up steins. He'll get behind you while you are on the stein animation and possibly punish. Look out for dives as well.
  25. Not sure I get what you mean, but have you tried 5c->Furu no Tsurugi, or 5c->6c->5d/6d/2d, or 5c->6c->furu no tsurugi ?
