  1. I'm getting destroyed by every single fucking jin online, any tips on how to deal with his pressure?
  2. yeah..so I cant beat tager online anymore, lag is just too much. I'm seriously thinking about returning the game right now... so salty
  3. QTF, I got around 4k dmg with a triangle +1 stein setup on a CH on ragna. Comes out real fast too.
  4. This might be the problem, I'll try it when I get home from work. Either way its hard to pull of for me, I always get "0" type connections.
  5. I'll take anything I can get, playing with this much lag is becoming unbearable in CS...(I fucking hate my country's ISP's)
  6. So...has anyone been able to pull of the FC combo online? I got raped by multiple tagers yesterday (seems that my previous post about tager being easy came back to bite me in the ass...) and I landed at the very least 3 fatal counters per match, I just couldnt complete the combo. Furu no tsurugi comes out way too late 'cos of the lag, and doesnt bounce him far enough...any thoughts or alternates? I dont wanna turn this into the tager match up, but come on...mu should be at least on equal grounds with him :S
  7. I wouldnt open with it, the startup kills it. I usually just crouch and the beggining of the round. Most people really like to jump backwards and then forward cancel it. So I just counter them with 2A for a nice 4 hit combo + steins. I do use j236A quite a bit, it usually throws people off balance (they just dont understand what to do with it) and inexperienced players are plain scared of it (I mean, its a big ball of lightning, must hurt like shit right?) and gives me time to set up more steins. Its also real fun to see it clash with ouroboros and cancel it. I used to lose to a lot of tagers too, then I realised most of them are sledge happy...but for the few good ones I've encountered, I think its just a matter of patience and controlling your space. He cant really do anything to you without spark bolt and then again you can try and bait it if you know its coming. Fishing for 5C CH is also a good idea.
  8. point taken
  9. Isnt the air super unsafe on whiff? cant you bait it?
  10. Tks for the info man, I might just main tao again. I'll get the game on tuesday/wednesday (if luck will have it...) and I'll see.
  11. Please dont get my hopes up XD. -btw- wich connection color was that match? (blue, yellow, red?)
  12. I migrated from tao simply because pulling taunt loops online with my connection is impossible and I didnt feel like playing with a crippled character...plus I really liked MU. But I do appreciate suggesting ragna or bang.
  13. shiiit, is this for real? I dumped tao for MU since her combos seemed more online friendly T___T
  14. I have a question regarding this: 6B->6A loop is still character specific against corner?
  15. You got it: right click on image->save image. The avatar itself is no bigger than what you see here.

  16. I see, well, too bad I guess T__T tks for the info!

  17. Tks for the info!, I've watched every video I could come across, liking her more every second :3, she kinda reminds me of Dizzy.
  18. Would practicing the throw -> dash with mu work?, I understand that she is different from the rest (well, they're all different from each other anyways) and I know that my question is rather tricky XD. Basically, I should practice dash canceling into a move? -btw- tks for the quick reply!
  19. Hey guys, I was wondering: who would be the closest character gameplay wise to MU in CT? I only play with tao on CT and dont really play much with the other characters. But seeing that tao will probably be useless to me on CS (I only play online and get mostly blue connections) I decided to give MU a look. So basically I'm wondering who should I practice with in CT that will give me a closer experience as to what MU will be (combo wise and strategy wise)?
  20. I'd love for them to leave the loop but add more options that dont require such precise timing. Anything to make tao more online friendly. Its probably a selfish request (as I only play online), but I'd love to see it done.
  21. Its ok, I dont live in the states, so I'm used to lagged matches :P. We can rematch any time you want XD, send me a request if you see me online!

  22. I agree, but it doesnt really apply to my particular situation. There arent any players in my area (hell, the game is not even officially released here), but I'll make do somehow. Its good to know that you can reach decent damage with fewer repetitions. Besides, this is just beggining, maybe some heavy damage online friendly combo's will be discovered in time. Who knows.
  23. Jesus...this is fucking hopeless. Guess there's no point in dwelling over it until the game releases :S
  24. Its a possibility, but its like playing with a crippled character. At some point I'm gonna need the dmg. I'll try anyways, as I said, I might be surprised. -btw- How about a single (or double) taunt combo? (like in CT) are those still doable?, maybe the entire loop is out of the question but fewer repetitions could be more "lag friendly"?
  25. Well, that might be worth looking into...I dont understand why would aksys do something like this considering the user base on consoles...but what do I know... CT still has some juice left on it, and maybe the CS netcode is even better than in CT. But still I dont see much hope for tao online (at least not for me), I sure hope I'm wrong though...If not, well, it was fun while it lasted.
