  1. Rachel admits in her arcade ending that she bit him. From what I've read here, her story in the MC has her doing it in the first loop and it becomes automatic for all the loops after it.

  3. If you simply comboed into it and stopped there, that would be the case. However, with 214D~C and/or chain follow-ups, you can get up to 3.5-4k, and if you use Jakou in the corner (which allows you to further continue the combo), you can break 5k. So, while the damage off just Jayoku is similar to that of his BnB combos, all his big damage comes from Jayoku combos, even if you don't get an FC.
  4. That was BB creator and GG producer Mori himself. He's shown as Paracelsus because he voiced him. From what I could tell, that segment was where certain parts of Ragna's AH line were replaced by random words and spoken by Sugita, Imai, Kondou, and a guest.
  5. Akubitto posted the last part of the second Spring Raid event a few weeks ago, but hasn't translated it yet, and AFAIK, he's the only one translating Bururaji. Nomura Kenji. I think it's just a novel, like GG's Lightning the Argent.

  7. I tried that in training with the combo I mentioned, but the dummy techs out before the second hit of 5D. I'm not a big fan of either, but I personally prefer the CS art in general.
  8. For heat combos, I personally prefer 5B>3C>5D (DC)>6A>5D>22C (RC)>3C>22C. It's corner-only, but I've found it to be much easier (you just need to remember to slightly delay the second 5D) and does 4.1k. And if you're opponent's low on health and you have full heat, you can RC again to another 3C>22C to break 5k and win.
  9. Which is why you get good enough to bait for counterhits with it. I actually did manage to get a counter with it when I accidentally used it, then 5D~D>j.2C'd into Hazama's BnB, and it upped the damage quite a bit. ...Shame it'll never happen again, but I'll always have that memory.

  13. It depends for 5C. I've gotten it to be read as one hit only once. But yeah, if you use more than one attack before 3C, they'll tech before 2C if you go for the longer combo.

  15. I haven't played Lambda since I first tried her, but I should know enough to get you started, and I've been playing Hazama for some time, so I can teach you about him. TOKi should also be there today, and I think he knows Hazama better than I do (well, depending on whether or not he was the Hazama I played against last week), so if you do get to learning him, he can cover anything I miss and more advanced tactics.
  16. Dayum. I'll have to remember that. They re-recorded the VOs for the cast of the original game, so they sound a bit different. Sugita is still Ragna's seiyuu, he just calls out Dead Spike in a slightly different manner than in CT.

The combos I typically use are 5B>5C>5D (2 hits) (DC)>6A (SJC)>j.C>J.D (JC)>j.C>j.214C>6D>j.D (JC)>j.C>j.214C>5D (2 hits) and 5B>5C>6C (2 hits) (DC)>5D (2 hits) (DC)>6A (SJC)>j.C>j.D (JC)>j.C>j.214C>6D>j.D (JC)>j.C>j.214C>5D (2 hits) I do sometimes land a 3C and follow up with 5D, but the above two are the ones I use the most. As for 22C after offensive burst, I haven't seen it done, but I'd imagine you can, since the opponent gets pretty close to the ground before they can recover. You'd probably just have to move forward a bit.
  18. I'm having trouble ending BE combos with 22C. Is there any specific timing or something?

Well, in GG, I'm still awful at FRCs and can only pull off two combos with Dizzy, but I can use her okizeme pretty well (yeah, real accomplishment, right?); BB, I'm nowhere near the level of other players at UFO, but I'm at least decent; MBAA, I'm still practicing, but I at least know my main pretty well and can pull off BnBs...occasionally. ...Fuck. Wait, why didn't you just say that in the beginning? *sigh* Well, I guess I could play a match and ask for critique whenever a good player shows up. Just gotta work up the nerve.
  20. I have played it, and I suck. I'm best with Kamui, and even then, I'm mediocre at best. This actually describes me perfectly. Before I found this site, I sucked ass on GG and BB, and I was completely lost on MB:AA before I found Melty Bread's wiki. So yeah, I'm not the kind of player who knows what to do just from seeing a character in action, but the kind that requires much learning.

  22. Are there any good ways out of pressure when you don't have heat? Right now, all I do is jump and use Ouroboros to escape.
  23. Cabs are what arcade games are played on. And as others have said, three arcades are confirmed to have imported an AH3 cab.
