Hey guys, I just wanted to stop buy and let you guys know that UFGT9 is a few months away! The link to the thread for the event on Dustloop is located*HERE* It reveals the main games being played and Persona 4: Arena has made it onto the main roster! The Early Bird Registration is still going on and will end March 10th, right now, registration is $30. Normal Registration is from March 11th to May 5th and costs $35. Late Registration is from May 6th to May 19th and it costs $45. Can also register at the door if things get that tight for you. All the information about registration and getting started for registration can be found *HERE*. BlazBlue and Guilty Gear both have received the green light from Keits for side tournaments and I will be running them both, on top of that, at the end of it all, everyone that's involved in our Anime Scene usually heads out to Giordano's for some great Chicago Style Deep Dish pizza! We do this at the end of every big event; we hang out with each other and those who have joined up in the past such as Brandino, AXIS and Miller can tell you, it's worth the trip! I want to make Persona, along with the BlazBlue and Guilty Gear side tournaments as interesting as possible so if you guys can come out and participate, please do! Come hang with us, let's get some games in and eat some Chicago Style Pizza! Please, post in the thread to show that you guys have interest in showing up, ask questions there and if I can't answer them, I'll get with Keits so you guys can get a quick reply. I encourage everyone to go to an event when possible, or save up for UFGT9 on May 24-26, if the weekly's don't fit your schedule. UFGT is months away so there's time to prepare. UFGT is going to be fun especially for the BlazBlue/Persona players. After the tournaments are over, we all pile up in people's cars and head out to the nearest Giordano's and pitch in a few dollars (Maybe 10-12 bucks per person IIRC) for some Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza. We do this every big event ever since we got the Michigan guys to start coming down for them; Fright Fight and Frosty Faustings were the last two big events we had with them and we got pizza every time and enjoyed ourselves. We're going to have a good time at UFGT as well and want the rest of you guys to hang with us, we probably won't do the Pizza thing until Sunday after all the chaos of UFGT is over but, it's going to happen before everyone goes their separate ways. We don't only play games, we hang out and socialize with each other and have fun. GG's to everyone that joined my room! Shoutouts to Vista for streaming the room; we had some pretty good players in there even though half of them were Chie... You were too little too late, the room filled up really fast. I moved it to private because more of my friends wanted in so I went with that and held a 6-man room. Maybe next time.

Dude, I don't have a car and I somehow am able to make it to these events via public transportation or talking to someone in the Chicago FGC Facebook group. That's why the group is there, for guys like us who don't have reliable transportation to find ways to go. You can get to any of the inner-city venues via public transportation (Ignite and EXP Gaming are accessible via public transportation). No blak, you're absolutely right. Everyone in the Chicago FGC are really cool people and all want to have fun playing fighters and if you're into fighters, you should find a way to get out there so you can meet and greet with others. Trust me when I say this seventy; once you go to one of the events, you will always want to come back. Ask anyone who's been, you just gotta find your way out to one. I'm not pressing you to go to every single event because people's schedules and financial situations won't allow it but at least hit up one up. Save your money for the bus via round trip and go, that's what I do, or talk to someone in the Facebook Group that can give you a ride, of course, Gas Money is needed but it's not going to be too much. Bro, you gotta come to one of these events and enjoy yourself, you have no idea on how much you're really missing out on.

GG's to everyone I played! I think something is wrong with the servers because earlier I was getting mad lag and spikes, later on it smoothed out but those earlier games were frustrating. @Skye: I would have stuck around longer but I'm really hungry right now, I haven't eaten yet lol!

*Double Post for people to see* For those of you that are not doing so hot in the Labrys match up, there is a video in the Japanese Console, Casual/Online section of Hama fighting Bob for 6 hours! Watch it to see the do's and don't s of the match up.

Been quite out of it for BB:CP, school and such. Out of curiosity, is there a list of relevant players for Amane? If so, who exactly am I looking out for besides SpinKing?

Plan a day for you guys to hit it up, Saturday seems to be the happening day for the place so hit it up if you guys can! Welcome to the thread bro, It's cool to see new faces and we're always welcome to others of all levels, especially if you are looking to increase your skill level. There are tons of people here that can help and are willing to play to get you to the level you want to play.
