That sounds pretty hype Arc, I know traveling to Chicago would be a pain for you so starting up something around your area would be the next best thing considering the options. Which Saturday? If it's this Saturday, it will be a stretch for me due to this filming project I have to do. We start in the morning but we may end by 2-3PM if things go as planned, so I might be able to make it if dumb stuff doesn't happen.

School just bodied me so hard. I have to finish this recording project on Saturday so Nickel City is a huge maybe for me. If I can get done by 2-3pm, I'll be headed out there.

Okay then, try it out for yourself with the block settings "After First Attack" and you will see it doesn't work. Your eyes are fooling you in this because it resets on the inside of the AOA. the combo drops and immediately picks back up but if someone is holding back, it won't work. Try it out for yourself if you think I'm wrong.

This doesn't combo. it's a reset inside the AOA that causes the unscaled the damage. if the opponent is blocking during the AOA, it will not combo, you can tell because the combo count the second time around has less hits in the combo. It's not even a decent reset since the AOA > RC gives it away. Next time, set your Training AI's blocking to "After First Attack" and you will see what combos and what doesn't.

If Kanji is using Furious Action on your wake up, block it. Once you block it he will still be in the animation of his Furious action but you are able to attack him. But you don't want to put yourself in a position that he's in your face to begin with; avoid this scenario if you can because he could change it on you and do a command throw or his persona air throw so be careful if he does get that close.

@shinobispectre Everything that darkpath said is spot on, another note; Don't beat yourself over not getting good at a pace you want to. Everyone's learning pace is different in each game. I'm a KOF player and picking up KOF games only take me a week or a little more. Trying to learn GG/BB took me months (I'm still learning P4U BTW), it's frustrating but I know in time I'll get up there with hard work, asking questions and putting in the time necessary. It's rare that someone can pick up a game and instantly understand it in two weeks time or less so just because you see others doing better around you, don't use that to demotivate yourself, use that to fuel your urge to get better. You're already hitting up the thread and asking questions, and getting responses and using those tips to help out your game, so you're on the right path, just keep at it and if you come across any issues, ask. Another thing: Don't be afraid to ask the people who are giving you a hard time what you're doing that's opening you up, you would be surprised how many people respond and give you their honest feedback.

Yeah, I'm noticing that. I'll find a way to make it simpler to understand for those new to the game or discuss with someone how I can make the notation easier for new people to read it. EDIT: Also to further work on the combo thread, I will sit down and do all the combos w/o Damage or Heat notation and gather that information on Sunday (My only day off work...). I will also further look into each and every single combo posted to see if there are any errors in the thread. I will make corrections as I go and if combos aren't working at all no matter what variation I come up with, I will delete them off the list. By the end of the weekend, the thread will be cleaned up.

Why are you losing to mashers when you play Mitsuru? You should be blowing mashers up with 5A.

It's been awhile guys, been busy hitting up training mode and working. C4A was mad fun, wish I would have done better though, 1 match away from getting top 8 @Konkrete: If you guys are doing a Ranbat for P4A at Ignite, expect to see me there since September will be a much better month for my budget to show up for this.
