Official Austin Topic, 4th Edition full of fun and happy times! ;o
Chris Chaos replied to PozerWolf's topic in South
OMG! This is too funny! -
Posting to let people know this is still a project within interest. I know the game came out and we all got crazy hype over it's release, so getting started ASAP was out of the question, LOL! This is good, we may not need it but the stability of technology... you never know. Now that a little time has passed since then, I am ready to begin recording/editing whenever you guys are. I will need you guys to submit a short explanation on how we will introduce Jin as a character in the tutorial (Summarized Style/Strengths/Weaknesses/Summary of Changes from CS2-EX/etc). Submit something of your own and have everyone here look it over to approve it or make changes. I want to do this first so it can be used as a "Table of Contents" when I'm recording/editing and where I can place them when things are coming along.

[CSE-CP] Jin General Thread "Jin it to win it... again"
Chris Chaos replied to Yuushiro's topic in Archive
I finally got back from the MIBB RanBats and got 4th place... I learned a lot fighting those guys and I feel that I've gotten better in the process. I haven't been here in awhile but I'm back now. I just watch those videos of that Jin player and I am upset I didn't see any of this before I went to Michigan to participate in that tournament, I would have applied them to my style ASAP! -
WTF?!
-
Its pretty bad bro. I am super upset about the issue.

SHOUTOUTS TO THE SHIN-FACTOR! I just found out the driver for my bus had an emergency so our expected leave time isn't for another hour and a half... I just can't catch a break
-
My bus is late and i left the house thinking I was gonna miss it... Welp, hopefully it gets here ASAP.

Battle Royale at Timbuktu Troy, MI Michigan Ranbat
Chris Chaos replied to 50-50罠's topic in Tournament Results
GGs guys, for real! I'll be hitting you guys up as much as possible to get to ranbats. Expect me to be there at least once a month! -
YT title match was recorded, and if you wanna share the results, that's up to you. I'll upload the set once i get home.
-
Well, I got some bad news: due to insufficient space on my laptop, the recordings we had set up were not saved onto the hard drive so all the casual matches we had didn't save, hell, the only video we got was of BBBB and Lumin fighting up to the 3rd round... I can't fucking believe this happened, but that's my fault for not checking the free space on my laptop before recording. Maybe next time guys and don't worry, I'll be getting BB Finals off of stream and uploaded to the YT.

I am awake, and I'm aware. Looking out for Rubedo whenever he shows up.
-
Just got in from the Bus, hopefully chaos wakes up in time so I'm not outside his house for multiple hours in 30 degree trmperatures with an xbox 360, PC and a Mac in Detroit...
-
I'm gonna be out of town as of tomorrow, so I'll just catch up to him the following Saturday.
-
Me too, especially when I'm spending 80 bucks to travel and hang with you niggas...
-
I would hope so, since I'm taking the time out to come out there Friday. If not, I'd be pissed...
-
Thanks Callisto! Well, I'll be heading up to Michigan tonight so I can see when will be a good month for these guys to come on down and increase the interest of Blazblue in Chicago. If not for casuals, at least for UFGT8. I'll let them know the supposed weekend it's set for, and if anything changes, I can update them.
-
Happy b-day blak! Wish I was there to help you celebrate!

[CSE] PSN - ID Thread / Chatroom Invitations

Welcome to the thread! We're basically trying to get something going for offline casuals, and possibly tournaments as the scene grows larger. Right now we're looking into getting a side tournament going at UFGT8, it's in the works and I have to figure out who I need to talk to but once I gain information on that, this is the first place it will be posted. Also, I will be going to Nickel City every weekend I have off and hosting casuals once a month for the guys here on DL. The plan is to gather at the end of every month at either Nickel City or Ignite Network. Whichever these guys decide to choose, I will cater to them. I won't be down there this weekend because I will be in Michigan this weekend on business and trying to arrange things for those guys to come down and increase our numbers for casuals. Any other weekend I'll be down by Nickel City though.

If only I didn't have my days mixed up... I would have been there. Got the wrong weekend off...

The station is 17 miles away, about 30 driving minutes from the venue.

Pretty much what Moy said, also I feel you were respecting Bang way too much. Jin is one of those characters that can disrespect Bang's wake up and get away with it, 5a does exist but if you're placing a 5b meaty, there's nothing Bang can do but block, or get CH and you've got yourself a free combo. Example: Jin's 5B (1 and 2) can lock him down and give you enough time to see if he's using guard point, you will recover before he swings on his wake up and if not you can lead straight into 2B then stagger into 2a pressure, that can lead to a tick throw, a safe option and if he does tech the grab, it puts you in a neutral position which is still safe. Do not let bang go aerial against you, you want to keep Bang grounded because Jin is at the advantage on the ground in this match-up. Make Bang realize he must go in the air, and when he tried to jump out of your pressure, you can 5a/b, his jump start up or even j/a. if he's using j.d you can block and punish him for it or dp when it whiffs since j.d recovery isn't that great. If bang is in the air, you can snipe him down with dp's or catch him with your AA normals, use the AA normals if he's not too far up, and you'll see the reward you get from doing that. If Bang goes into FRKZ, you win the air game (I didn't see all the matches and didn't see this particular bang go FRKZ but it's still nice to know), he is free in the air if he drops a combo (Seeing how mos Bangs will only go FRZK if they have a combo string going). Bang can't block in the air so you have j.d to blow him up and obtain even more chances to combo him and get a win. After getting a freeze or even a CH freeze, Bang is free to your disposal, hit him with your heaviest combos and take advantage of it. Also blocking those nails would help too, lol. All of this takes playing the game more so don't be discouraged, just practice up and remember the tips for next time you guys fight.

Tell her I said hi too. BTW 50, if Ranbats ARE in fact this weekend, let me know by Tuesday so I can buy my ticket to depart on Sunday instead of Saturday afternoon. If ranbats are going down, I'll stay for more than one day.
-
I can talk to a few of the Michigan guys about coming down for UFGT8 depending what day it's on if there is going to be a BB side tournament. When exactly is it supposed to happen?
-
Things are looking good for me to show up this weekend, I'll see you guys soon.
