  1. Like I said before, I don't think it's Sharon because of how many input mistakes they are making. You can find at the very least one in EVERY video. Go back and watch him in Slash. He is much more precise than that. Then again it might be him adjusting to AC. That could honestly be any one of the excellent baikens in japan, koto, to-ru, nabaiken, maruken, beru, etc.
  2. Baiken? It's good to have options.
  3. I see nothing from the website with the link.
  4. http://www.hmonkey.com/baikenac/200612200045.avi pot doesn't really hit baiken though o_o;;
  5. you can combo off youzansen RC tatami in the corner, you need to hit them on the ground before jumping though, since they bounce low.
  6. many times oh snap, you can youzansen FRC midscreen and air dash j.P j.S j.D, just saw her do it to potemkin o_o; You should be able to do this without j.P as well.
  7. j.K combos into 2D, saw him do it to roboky. It also combos into j.P, so easy knockdown.
  8. the hitbox on 2D has been changed, from what I've seen. There is a time when anji is close to the ground, baiken attemps 6HS 2D and the 2D whiffed, they probably made the hitbox smaller. As for that, I'm not sure if ground combo-> tatami FRC run up 2D j.S etc. is possible anymore. Also I find it hard to believe the baiken in those videos are sharon, he doesn't make that many input mistakes..
  9. There are more than one good baiken players in Japan right now, it could be any one of them. It's hard to tell styles when he's still trying to figure out everything new :P The best dustloop I've seen is tatami frc jump close j.S j.D airdash j.S j.D FRC tatami jump j.S j.D airdash j.S j.D I don't think that tatami frc iad j.D is worth it at all anymore.
  10. which sharon matches are you talking about? Unless the filebank videos are sharon
  11. I'll upload all the baiken videos when they're finished downloading
  12. In general, you don't want to jump in or iad in at any decent Robo Ky. I know this from experience. Be very cautious and do not get hit by robo dash. Resist the urge to burst when he's just pressuring you. He sucks in Slash, just play it safe and you won't have a problem. FD braking and kabari are your friend. Finish mid-screen air combos with j.S j.P j.S j.D (he's heavy enough).
  13. Honestly I can't think of a time johnny's jackhound has beat my iad back tatami, I'll test in training when I get my ps2 hooked up here.
  14. that's not the case at all, a lot of his moves are punishable. Then j.P j.K for a launch, or j.P j.S land 2D and keep going, into 30-60% combo depending on how close to a corner you are and your tension If you time it correctly that's not a problem. You can FRC it and dustloop if close to a corner, or for some more damage midscreen. You could tick throw after the mat. You could bait an uppercut, which gives you a free 6HS -> TONS of damage... Baiting an uppercut will give you a lot more damage on him than him hitting you with one. I'd say Jam-Baiken is about even, Pot and Slayer aren't great, but they're winnable. Also, I'm not sure about which Johnny players you've played against, but it doesn't sound like they knew much about the Baiken Johnny matchup, and therefore really aren't great to base the odds between the two characters on. While it is true that Ky's anti-airs ruin Baiken's air game, all that means is spend less time in the air. If uppercut or sweep on wakeup is a problem for you, you may just need work on your okizeme. Jackhound is awful vs. Baiken. I don't see what's so frustrating about the matchup other than you have to use alpha counters VERY sparingly because they're easily baited. Be patient and look for openings and you shouldn't have a problem.
  15. hope you're kidding. I'd say it's 6-4 in his favor, if he knows the matchup. His unique pressure allows him to bait alpha counters easily, making them pretty much useless if he's being cautious. I'd say the Ky matchup is 6-4 in Baikens favor. Any stunedge gets owned by iad j.S if you can do it fast enough. You just need to play safe when he's on the ground. Also, watch for the sweep (236k) because it goes under chain and through some other moves -_- run up FD brake slash alpha counter is an excellent tool against him as well.
  16. they always think that, and always get countered by it. It doesn't work.
  17. That's not true, doing a low iad back tatami is almost unpunishable, even by Johnny, unless he's extremely close and you're spamming it like DC's coins.
  18. She's not designed to play that way.
  19. Don't get hit by coins. This means don't throw out random alpha counters. This also means don't use dangerous stuff like j.HS too often. React to him, by running away, blocking, and looking for openings you'll do a lot better than playing aggresively. That being said, when you get a knockdown, get on his ass.
  20. air dash low and do the tatami as soon as possible.
  21. I don't know when you're doing back IAD tatami, but with the right spacing and doing it low enough to the ground there are practically no openings.
  22. what next, TK youzansen is blockable?
  23. dude, just spam iad back tatami all match, don't even combo. Yeah.. he touches you 2 or 3 times and you're dead, you have to combo him like 7 times..
  24. pfft who needs 6K when you can just iad back tatami
