  1. Why are there separate signature character limits including and excluding the BB code? Feels very frustrating to finally find a way to cut it below 200 characters only to learn that there was no way to fit everything, anyways.
  2. I've been waiting for this! Since about the time we hit 200 pages, at least. I actually hope that Plat is going to be less RTSD and more gimmicks and shenanigans.
  3. Nope, that was me. You can confirm it by checking the time stamps (or assuming that it's me who stole it from /a/). Although they sometimes post some stuff faster than I do.
  4. We don't have it for Nu or Mu, so you'll probably have to wait for that one.
  5. Here is rough translation of the article. I probably got all the move names wrong, though. Higashikata Josuke Battle Style: Stand Name of the Stand: Crazy Diamond -The protagonist of part 4. His father is the protagonist of part 2, Joseph Joestar. He controls Crazy Diamond, a Stand that mends broken things and heal injuries. However, he cannot heal his own wounds. Special move: Mend and retu~~~~rn! By using Crazy Diamond's ability, Josuke can quickly traverse long distances by holding to a piece of broken asphalt. Special move: I won't forgive those who talk shit about it! Josuke loses his temper when someone criticizes his hair. His hair bristles up for a special mode!? Heart Heat Attack: You've entered... My range... Josuke rushes forward with a flurry of punches. With additional input, he can follow up with a "Homing Bullet" he used against Kira Yoshikage! Great Heat Attack: I have already cured you Crazy Diamond recovers the enemy's health to the maximum. In other words, "It's not unfair at a~~~~ll"... So Josuke beats the crap out of them, dealing huge damage! Nijimura Okuyasu Battle Style: Stand Name of the Stand: The Hand -Featured in part 4. Even though he was first an enemy along with his brother, Josuke reformed him, and they became best friends. His Stand, The Hand, can remove everything that his right hand touches from existence... If it wasn't for Okuyasu's brain, it might have been the strongest Stand ever. Special move: I'll remove "The space"! The space is removed, allowing instant teleportation! A great move for confusing your opponent. Heart Heat Attack: Go fuck yourself, asshole! Once he concentrates, The Hand performs an unblockable attack! The wide range of the attack is also worth mentioning. Great Heat Attack: It's way too late to think things through! To hit the enemy by any means, The Hand rapidly removes space for a finishing move! However, a flower pot hits Okuyasu in the face because of all the space he removed... Jolyne Kujo Battle Style: Stand Name of the Stand: Stone Free - The protagonist of part 6. Her father is the protagonist of part 3, Jotaro Kujo. Because her former lover framed her for his crime, she ended up imprisoned in G.D.st. Prison. She has Stone Free, the Stand that allows her to unravel her body into strings and manipulate them freely. Heart Heat Attack: It's 1000 balls! By attaching a baseball to a string, it's thrown forward over and over again! Soon after that, the hit counter "1000HIT" appears on the screen. Great Heat Attack: Let me tie you up After catching the enemy in her strings, Jolyne rushes forward with a great strike. Hermes Costello Battle Style: Stand Name of the Stand: Kiss - Her Stand ability is awakened by picking up the "Arrowhead" she found. Kiss, her Stand, produces stickers that divide the thing it's on in two. When the sticker is removed, the thing comes together, receiving some damage. Heart Heat Attack: I understand your goal perfectly! Hermes's Heart Heat Attack is a counter. First, she puts a sticker on her head, splitting it in two. If she is hit after that, she assaults the enemy in tandem with the Stand. By the way, the sticker comes off whether the counter was successful or not, dealing some damage to Hermes. Great Heat Attack: And this! And this! And this! And this! The enemy's head is split into two with the sticker, while Hermes proceeds to punch both of them. The sticker is then removed, dealing even more damage! Stage Imageboard: Part 4, Morioh The stage where the final fight with Yoshikage Kira's stand, "Killer Queen: Bite the Dust", is reproduced. Stage Imageboard: Part 6, G.D.st. Prison Courtyard A courtyard where many poisonous frogs fall from the sky. Do they deal damage when you touch them!?
  6. Actually, they've revealed some other CVs, too, and Wakamoto isn't among them. At least Lisa Lisa is voiced by Motoko Kusanagi. And the Famitsu article is up! http://www.famitsu.com/news/201211/15024321.html I'll take a jab at translating it a bit later, so enjoy the screens for now.
  7. Here, have some HQ Izayoi screens from famitsu: http://www.famitsu.com/news/201211/15024349.html Too bad that there's no text at all for now.
  8. Well, I found this one thanks to the huge Izayoi post on the main page, really. Other than that, I just browse some boards and talk to friends who do the same. For example, I got linked to this key visual to the part 2 anime by a friend: http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/231/1352888860361.jpg Sugita's voicing Joseph in the anime, too, which pretty much means that the game and the anime are going to have the same VAs.
  9. That would be "Justice Phorizer", a quick, long-reaching sword thrust. Performing it with OD improves damage and reach. And "Freedom Justice" is the name of her OD, which seems to improve the zoning game of her normal mode.
  10. Today's issue of Famitsu is going to have a lot of info on the latest newcomers (Jolyne, Josuke, Okuyasu, Hermes). They also say that the Morioh stage is going to have the ambulance on the background. I won't translate it just yet, since more info is coming in about seven hours, anyways.
  11. Don't forget Bullet Dance having the best intro ever now.
  12. What the hell is up with that move that spawns a doll or something? Is that how Happy Magica looks like now?
  13. Good thing that the music is actually audible this time, even though it's still not perfect. I'm sure I can hear the Sector 7 theme in the Azrael vs Tager vid, since they are on Tager's stage, but the music doesn't resemble Motor Head at all.
  14. They're going to show the characters who are only known by names right now, like Adelheid and Wagner, on the 17th. It doesn't say anything about whether or not they're going to be playable, though (probably not).
  15. Ah, Isuna does it again! Let me add to the chorus of grateful voices that is sure to follow. I actually thought that the loketest was supposed to be over last Sunday, so this is a great surprise.
  16. So yeah, about this Amane post: http://yrrsn.hotcom-web.com/wordpress/?p=324 The Drive - All D attacks can be held down to deal more hits, with each hit charging the Spiral gauge. - The easiest attack to charge the gauge seems to be 6D. - If the gauge goes over level 3, it overheats, and you can't perform D normals and specials for a while. Overdrive: - The Spiral gauge is fixed on level 3. The normals: - All A moves deal 2 hits. - 5B and jB deal 3 hits. - Every C move except for 3C deals 2 hits. - You can interrupt D moves at any time, though more research is required. Command normals: - 3C: a sweep that slightly moves Amane forward, hits low. - 6A: an anti-air move. - 6B: a short jump backward with an attack, an overhead. - 6C: hits with the cloth diagonally upwards, anti-air. - 6D: drops a spinning top before Amane, an overhead. - j2B: a dropkick, an overhead. - j6C: the same as 6C. - j2C and j4C: hit below Amane on different angles. Special moves: - Zettou (236A/B) - the command jump. The ground version can be canceled into the aerial version. A version is a short hop forward, while B version covers more space. - Raibu (236C) - a multi-hit attack with a great knockback. - Gosei (j236C) - the aerial version of Raibu. Amane first goes diagonally downward, then travels the rest of the distance along the ground. - Hariken (236D) - the stance that charges the Spiral gauge and summons a drill if you press A, B or C (the button pressed determines the distance between yourself and the drill). Level 3 drill hits low. - Zettou (214A/B) - the same command jump as the 236 Zettou, except that you jump backwards. - Gekiren (623C) - a cloth appears from the ground at a short distance before Amane. If the enemy is in the air while they're hit, they're pulled back to the ground with a knockdown. Doesn't go over the edge of the screen, like Arakune's 6D. Distortions: - Seijuu (632146C) - an invincible dash which goes behind the opponent if they're hit. Amane ends up on a medium distance from the opponent after the move. - Goukai (632146D) - Imperial Ray with the drills. Has no invincibility, pushes the opponent to the edge of the screen. Changes between the two loketests: - OD makes your Spiral gauge build up slower (so it won't overheat, I guess?) - After Overheat, the Spiral gauge can't get to level 3 for a while. This makes it less likely to overheat two times in a row. - The Spiral gauge now builds up slightly faster, even though it was already fast at TGS. - A normals and 5B are slightly slower. - 3C no longer links into D moves. - 5D is slightly slower; you can press D again after you hit with the initial strike to hold it and deal more strikes. Could link it into Raibu, unlike the TGS version. - 2D used to launch the enemy very high upwards on TGS, but now it got reverted to the earlier version. - j4C seems to have been switched with j2C. - j2B now makes Amane float on hit or block (he used to land before the enemy before). - jD initially had no vector correction (?), but now Amane floats for a moment before striking with the drill. I'm feeling a bit ill and there seems to be some more info in the comments, so I'd be glad if someone else checks my translations.
  17. I, for one, welcome our new Arakune gimmick overlords. He's supposed to be the most tricky character in the game, so making him rely on tricks makes sense to me. Hell, I think this was the first time I saw Arakune use his feints.
  18. Damn, Bullet's looking fiiine. She almost got 5k damage in a corner combo with nothing but Heat-Up, and the range of her Drive follow-up is better than I expected, allowing her to combo even mid-screen with some nice wall bounce. Good to finally see people who actually play the characters instead of checking out their new features.
  19. I can't help but see the ball on QB Plat's staff as one huge eye of his.
  20. Looking for a reason fo a character having specific boob size is the same as looking for a reason for a character having specific hair color. People come in all shapes and sizes, and just because one of these shapes is pleasing to the male eye doesn't mean that character designers should avoid diversity. Just don't focus so much attention on it, jeez. Yes, BB writers, I'm talking to you.
  21. Those people got off the bus back when Bullet was announced.
  22. The game's logo has all the symbols for parts 1-8, so some JoJoLion cameos are possible.
  23. You don't have to buy the game to see that, though. You don't even have to buy the arcade credits.
  24. Because it's pretty bland and nowhere near as good as the rest of Relius AH sprites? I mean, surely they could come up with better ways to service some Bullet to the fans.
  25. An interesting link that translates all the speech bubbles from the trailer. It might hint at more playable characters, or it might just be a collection of iconic quotes, who knows. http://www.frametrap.net/2012/11/jojos-tgs-trailer-quotes.html
