Finished my first Bayonetta run not too long ago, so this just had to be done. Since I have no experience at this stuff, if someone decides to make a better version, go ahead. It's just that, again, it had to be done.

I know, I was just being silly.
-
I thought you could only attack with kicks
-
I had zero problem with churning on pad, dunno why you think it's easier with stick.
-
But what is the difference between the chars? I'd be disappointed if an otherwise-perfect game had headswaps.
-
Teddie's items and Mitsuru's Bufula (ice mirror) sound like good oki tools. I'd go with them if you want oki-centered gameplay, but I haven't been following the game for a while.

Thanks God (and shtkn) for the icon change, now I can scroll over the board and actually see if it has new posts. Not to mention Kanji's general awesomeness.

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)

Bah, they even cropped the illustration again. I would have been fine with this predictable string of updates if I could at least get proper SD images of Vatista and Yuzuriha, but alas. -
A cross-post from the Shabrys board: 5C - A big punch from Asterios. Can be charged for longer knockdown. 2C - Asterios sends a long wave of fire from its horns. Has deceptively great horizontal range, can serve as a good anti-air. 8C - Asterios goes underground, then performs a huge uppercut. Can be charged to blow the enemy up higher. 5D/2D - Asterios guards itself. Since he's always on-screen, this helps avoiding constant Persona Breaks. There is no difference between 5D and 2D, it blocks both highs and lows just fine. Buffalo Hammer (214C/D) - Asterios raises its hands, then hits the ground with both fists. Knocks down on hit, probably an overhead. Infernal Hellfire (236C/D) - Asterios charges up and shoots a laser from his mouth, creating a pillar of fire at the point where it hits the ground, which blows the enemy upwards. The laser itself hits the enemy back into the pillar, but if it's done too close to the wall, the pillar is formed off-screen, so it can't damage the enemy. Great Slaughter ([4]6C/D) - Asterios goes underground, then quickly charges at the enemy, swallows them, then spits them out upwards. The D version whiffs on close distance, but blows the enemy higher upwards. Can be followed up in the corner. Rebel Against Control (236236C/D) - Asterios gives a huge side punch to the enemy, hitting the camera in the process. A generic super combo finisher; the D version makes Asterios glow red, maybe it's unblockable? Brutal Impact (214214A/B) - Shabrys charges her axe for a while, then swings it for extreme damage. No idea if the move comes out before it's charged to the fullest. Titanomachia (214214C/D) - Asterios charges up, then sets an area around itself on dark fire. The D version makes him appear behind the opponent right after charging up, but I'm not sure if it cross-ups. IK (222A+B) - A fast and short-ranged grab which sends the enemy underground to Asterios's realm. All the usual IK things apply here, of course.

Poor Rise, she has to cheer up on Shabrys, too. Seems like her Persona can actually be hit anytime, but at least it can guard itself.

Monitoring Nantoka's blog for now, since he's a big fan of Carl, Relius and Labrys, so I expect him to main Shadow Labrys. Nothing interesting so far, except that his Twitter is a pink hell full of double peace signs. Not like that's bad or anything. Then again, every character here is like that, to some extent. Though I do like how she seems much more heavy-hitting than Eddie, Carl and the rest. Well isn't that great. Now I wonder if they're animated, like in BB.

You know, I wanted to buy the Japanese version just for the voices and Kaiji narrator, but now that I've learned about the whole DLC region lock business, I'm not that sure. Oh well, make that another wish for the English version to have dual audio. EDIT: Wait, this doesn't have anything to do with the region lock, but with the payment method. Ignore my half-asleep ramblings.

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)

Pretty sure that they won't stay on screen for long enough for anyone to notice their quality. Still have no idea about how she's supposed to play. Then again, it's the same case with all the other characters. -
Boy, I sure can't wait to read some Nicovideo-style comments during my fights!
-
Even though it's probably connected to BlazBlue? There are some threads that discuss its plot, so I guess it can stay, too.
-
About the Guilty Pleasures shuffle: where will all the non-video threads from there go? Zepp Museum, I assume? For example, what is the forum to discuss X-Blaze now?
-
Well, I can ask someone to share their PSN account with me to download the pack (for some symbolic reward, of course). I'm just not sure if such matters can be discussed here (and if they cannot, I'm already screwed ).
-
Okay, I just found out that EU does have all the DLC already. Of course, I bought the Plat announcer pack right away - only to find out that it's not compatible with my US disc. And I can't access the US store without having a US points card. Oh come on, Sony, I buy your console because it's region-free, and this is what I get?

Tried looking for that scan on jBBS, found some Akkarinne April 1st jokes, a HUGE poster image and a movelist instead. Not that bad. I'll translate the simple parts of the movelist for now, sorry if it's nothing new. Hyde (they have longer chuuni names, but I'll only translate the furigana ones): 236A/B/C - Black Orbiter 623A/B/C - Red-Clad Craver 214A/B/C - Vacant Shift: First 41236D - Gyre Vortex Waldstein (Japanese German is hard as hell to decipher, sorry): 236A/B/C - Eisen Nägel (Iron Nails) Orie: 236A/B/C - Divine Thrust 623A/B/C - Sacred Spire 214A/B/C - Come Forth (Command Order) 41236D - Luminous Embrace Gordeau: 236A/B/C - Mortal Slide 623A/B/C - Grim Reaper 214A/B/C - Ammilation 41236D - Turbulence -

That's some Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon-level hair. Doesn't seem like she uses it as a weapon, which is nice. She also has an interesting version of heterochromia, which I can also respect. No idea about her fighting style, though. -
Yeah, and Europe still doesn't have a single BBEX DLC out. And my American version of the game gets the updates from the American PSN. Mocking me, making my life miserable.
