  1. Nothing new here, but at least all the info is in text format this time. I may try to translate it later today.
  2. Apparently, some of our top SC players got to play the latest build ahead of the time. You can check out lots of replays on our official Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/FightingRuVideos#grid/user/96208F5CE588B0FE Still no signs of Viola, sigh.
  3. Ah, yeah, it's just a misspelling on my side. I checked it out for Hekatonkheires, but didn't bother for Thanatos, supposing that I know it well enough.
  4. Man, that's a lot of info to translate... Too bad that it's all in images, so I can do nothing to look up the kanji and stuff. At least I can translate the "abilities", whatever they are: Hyde: Void Red Linne: Speedster Waldstein: Hekatonkheires Carmine: Blood Spike Orie: Tanatos Gordeau: Devourer Now that I can take a close look at the screens, the sprites look not as cool as I expected. As if they're still pretty close to those MB sprites, just blown up a little. Oh well, it's all good as long as it looks great in motion. Nothing much that I can say about the UI, since it's really simple this time. The "Seed" gauge can be reduced, but it seems that it reduces by the same amount for both players, whatever that means. As for the new characters, I like Orie better, even though her heels must be painful to wear. But I certainly appreciate the giant scythe coming out of nowhere, too.
  5. Umm, what exactly is that thing behind Tao? And that Arakune looks like a neat T-Shirt design, wish I had it in better quality.
  6. There are many screenshots in this thread, and I think they demonstrated it in the trailer.
  7. Yeah, there is a special "Megane" (Glasses) option on the character select screen, any character (including Aigis?) can wear them.
  8. It's probably how Dia looks. Yukiko does have Fire Break and Fire Boost, but that doesn't seem like either of those.
  9. Man, those chair swings are so over the top. And Kanji has his glasses portrait on some of the screens even if he doesn't wear them. I guess the glasses sprites are not ready yet.
  10. Street Fighter is Japanese, you know.
  11. So the game itself is already finished? Well that's nice, I already forgot about it, since I've been waiting for so long.
  12. I would actually expect her to have some melee moves as a reference to Metis. And, well, because she does need some close-range tools anyway.
  13. But does GETB bring your opponent to the corner? Oh wait, it doesn't bring there Kanji himself. Hope the Shock status will be easy enough to trigger after that.
  14. Okay, seems like Kanji shares the Streets stage with Yosuke for now. Is it just me, or are low hits slower than overheads here? Of course, there are other ways to mix things up this time, but I see little reason for crouching blocking. And geez, Chie seems to be even more popular than Yu.
  15. Are there any videos of Kanji's stage? Because I've only seen four of them so far, and they seem to be character-specific: Midnight Channel (Yu) Streets (Yosuke) School (Chie) Music room (Yukiko)
  16. Tentarafoo sounds scary with blockstrings, since you have to be very careful and change the direction you're pressing exactly when the effect wears out so you don't eat a combo. I'm sure Yosuke will have lots of ways to exploit that. Not sure how useful Kanji's shock status will be, though it would be cool if it works as a local Guard Break variant. I'd like more info about the general throw system before making any proper judgment, but I do like this dude. And Yu is the only one who gets JoJo combos, too bad.
  17. Sure, though last year, when we had MvC3, we didn't have all the characters announced by that time.
  18. Apparently, Soul Calibur 5 will be playable on Igromir 2011, which takes place on October 7-9. I will probably go there simply to check it out along with SFxT, so if you guys have any requests, ask ahead.
  19. Original characters make sense, since this game has original storyline. And I sure hope that the "surprising reveals" are not from P3 or P4.
  20. Oh come on, nothing beats European Noel derpface cover. At least this cover has some fighting going on on it.
  21. SoWL

    Project NOELS

Can't wait to feed her some insanely fast tracks just to see her dancing to it. And I sure hope this is not that Blue Revolution or something they were talking about.
  22. It's a simple Charge. You know, that skill that boosts your next physical attack in P4. Though that nickname is mighty fine, too. Too bad that Persona select turned out to be just a palette swap for your Persona. Well, they can still give us the Ultimate Persona palettes. Also, Yukiko has Dia as her B+D attack, even though it's supposed to drain your health. Waiting for SoBa's translation for now.
  23. Oh man, why must you post this right when I have to go out? Now I will only be able to watch the rest in nine hours! From what I can see, Yukiko can zone with magic AND weapon attacks, while Kanji has a nasty super-grab that brings the opponent to a corner (I guess he is a grappler, after all).
