Before I go overboard, I should state that I wasn't that serious making that comment (since we're discussing artwork for a Japanese fighting game ). And because I've seen plenty of good Bullet fanart so far (more than one, at least). And because I find no faults in her gameplay, but that's getting off-topic. Basically, let's agree that Bullet's great and deserves greatness in all fields.

Speaking of rosters, who are you expecting to be revealed next? I feel like they need to have a varied roster for the loketest's sake, so I expect something like this: - Eddie (because we have Millia and the PV teaser) - Potemkin (because we need a heavy-hitter) - Faust (because I main him But really, we need a proper zoner, so Dizzy or Testament might fit, too) - Someone brand new. That, or another less technical heavy-hitter, like May or Slayer. -
Sometimes I wonder whether you're a Bullet fan at all.

Yeah, people have already told that. I double-checked the Wiki before posting, and it didn't have the Psych part, so blame them v:v:v It's not really a mistake, but it took me a while to realize that "(Midair)" means that the move has a midair option (as opposed to only being possible in midair). Maybe it should be written more clearly? And from the news thread: The wording is pretty confusing here: what it does is that all your attacks become counter-attacks if the enemy's R.I.S.C. level is high enough. And I just noticed this, but Millia seems to have some text written on her shoulder ribbon. "-xy black data"? -

Tried reading through the system page. Here are the mechanics that stayed the same: - Tension gain - Aerial movement - Negative penalty - Sweep - Gatling combos - Throws/aerial throws - Specials, supers - Aerial recovery - Faultless Defense - Dead Angle Attack - Burst (now called Psycho Burst) The mechanics that got tweaked: - Guard gauge is now called R.I.S.C. level; it acts the same (forces counter-hit if the player is blocking too much), but can't get below 0 (the default level). - You can press 6 instead of 8 after a Dust, chasing the enemy horizontally. - There is an FRC-like mechanic that I didn't quite understand, need someone else to translate it properly. - There is a new clashing system called "Danger Time". If the players clash three times in a row, the winner of the clash deals extra damage with a "Super Counter". -
There's something extremely weird going on before Hazama's last kick.

People were speculating that they're going to include another Kira just because making one of the bosses a DLC is a dick move, but I didn't believe them and thought that Kawajiri is only going to be a Kira skin. So glad to be wrong. And the Valentine reveal is expected and welcome. Now, I believe I need to finish reading SBR before spoiling myself. -
Why would they have all that fanservice-y artwork, but no Bullet? Japan, you had one job, and you failed at it. I suppose the rest of those bonuses are phone cards, not wall scrolls? An Amane scroll would be kinda cool.

Good, this thread is still here, and it's even open. I wouldn't mind if you guys say something on my Arakune matches from yesterday, since they got recorded and all. http://www.twitch.tv/minlexx/b/437200035 (the third match had major lag, don't watch it) http://www.twitch.tv/minlexx/b/437202154 The things I can say for myself is that I abuse Sledge and 2D too much against Arakune, but that's mostly because I'm so afraid of 2D and j.D. I also have no idea what to do against his j.B, since it hits through all of my anti-airs.

Giving it a quick run-through. Dash is about as fast as Ragna's? Also accelerates after a while. Air dash is also pretty fast. The specials can all be DD-canceled. 5A, 2A, j.A, 5B, 2B - same as Hazama's. 6A - a diagonal knife slash. An anti-air. 6B - a roundhouse kick. j.B - the animation is similar to Hazama's, but deals 2 hits. 5C - a jumping kick followed by a dropkick. A 2-hit move that can be jump-canceled after the first one. 2C - Terumi twirls his knife at their feet. Doesn't knock down. 6C - a three-hit knife slash after a dash. Can't be special canceled? Can be DD-canceled. 3C - a low kick. Obviously knocks down. j.C - the animation is similar to Hazama's, but only deals 2 hits. 5D - has Jabaki's animation, gets 15% Heat. 2D - summons Uroboros from the ground behind the opponent, staggers on hit. Maybe you can combo 3C into 2D? 6D - after kicking them once, Terumi kicks them again in a wild dance-like motion. j.D - attacks diagonally downward. Ground-bounces. j.2D - has a Ressenga-like animation, ground-bounces. Can be used for cross-ups. Jagaku (236D) - slams them with Uroboros after a rush. Recovers about 25% Heat. Gasenshou (214D) - a command grab. Recovers about 30% Heat. Garengeki (22C) - kicks them OTG. Can be mashed. Jakyou Messenga (41236C) - the charge super. Can be followed up, though it's not exactly clear how. Can be done in midair, the charge is then performed diagonally downwards. Gouga Soutenjin (623B) - can be used in the same cases as Houtenjin. Can be done in midair. Orochi Burensen (63214B) - a bigger version of Orochi? Causes wall-slam. Ouja Zanrouga (236236A) - a counter-move. Can't really see it, since the start-up animation resembles walking? Deals about 3200 damage. Jabaku Fuuenjin (632146D) - locks them in the animation on hit. Deals from about 2500 damage with 50% Heat to 4600 with 100% Heat (6100 with OD). Jarin Renshouga (236236D) - deals about 4594 damage raw, 5800 with OD. May not hit them if they're too close? CT - has Zaneiga-like animation, but without the special effects. The range is short, but other than that, it feels about the same on hit. CA - has 6A's animation. Might not hit crouching opponents.

I wonder if they're going to have someone other than Sol and Ky playable. I hope so, since playtesting two chars seems a bit pointless. And if there are going to be more chars, they might announce them over these two weeks.
