I'm actually hype to play some Magic too because I finally built an EDH deck. +R needs to come out already, I feel like I'm playing Ky before he hit puberty with his little boy damage.
  6. Does 5C combo into 6C without crouching now? Near 1:24:00, it looked like Bullet got hit by a low and 5C > 6C still connected, would be crazy broken. Or maybe she just "fuzzy-lowed" herself by blocking high during the laser's blockstun, it kind of looked like she was in a crouching animation but hard to tell. It looks like Ikutachi is kind of spacing dependent to combo off 6C midscreen, I saw it whiff a few times after comboing from max range 5C > 6C, but it could be character hitbox specific too. I wonder if Azreal's fireball can pierce Habaya. Edit: Ew, TK Habaya looks awful for pressure now. Looks like we'll need some stein backup to make it safe. 5D > j2C > air Habaya looks more legit if they're scared to hit buttons, or at least that Mu was using it a lot because nobody tried to hit them out of the startup. Also I saw TK Totsuka used a couple times, I wonder if air Totsuka has less recovery than ground version? Loving her new combos now that I can actually see them in action, loving the air backdash cancels and 3C > IAD jC routes. Crouching, CH, and overhead damage looks awesome, curious what she can get off of 6A, 2C, and jC CHs now. Looks like her damage is still strong but her oki and guard crush capabilities are a little weaker due to the changes to 214D and the system mechanics, Habaya having seemingly CS1 startup and different trajectory means less autopilot zoning too. Still, loving the new Mu so far, looks like she'll still be really strong, fun, and have lots of variety now. Hopefully we can get some match vids off of Nico soon.

One thing to point out about those combos starting from 2B is that they use straight up "2B > 5C > 3C" as the starter...it's unlikely to get such an ideal starter in an actual blockstring, unless you went for an empty-jump low mixup, or the opponent just doesn't block for whatever reason. Her more accurate average damage off more prorated starters like As or more gatlings for hitconfirming will likely be lower. Also if you get hit by a fully charged SoD when Mu has full OD and 100 meter, you kind of deserve to lose the round.

  10. ^ Lol. Well, it's definitely nice to see her damage is still scary, and she has seemingly more variety in combos now. 214D having better proration is amazing too.

  13. I was hoping they would still at least let it be 3 hits when charged, I was worried about her oki without it. Sweeet Awesome, now (dash) 6D setups will be more effective after SoD midscreen. edit: well, I meant 6D cancel after SoD will be a better replacement for dash 6D after SoD, but you guys knew what I meant Do they mean after max-charge SoD? We CS1 now. The worst nerf. Loving the sound of these changes, looks like they handled Mu pretty well. Btw, thanks Hakimiru for translating!

  15. Omg me too. I was hoping Bullet would have a Casca palette as well, but the Major is fine too. Izayoi better have a Valkyrie color.
  16. From what I can gather, the combo system is basically a combination of CS (P1/P2 proration) and CT (timer-based untechability). So as far as using Tsubaki's D moves in combos, they still have better damage and proration values then the regular versions, encouraging you to use them in combos. Stuff like 214B launching again just helps to boost Tsubaki's average damage without charge to not-sad levels. As for Bang, I haven't watched many vids of him yet, but I predict lots of salt from his fullscreen command throw super. That shit just looks silly.
  17. I think no. 00 just refers to Izayoi, since it's supposed to be a prototype Murakumo unit. But a lot of people are speculating it could refer to Saya. Mu's new theme sounds like something out of Megaman X or Gradius, but I guess it can't be all Doomy Dooms of Doom anymore.
  18. Ikutachi being stein cancellable is pretty sweet, also nice to get a meterless combo off an overhead midscreen that isn't just SoD. Too bad we didn't get to see the new 214D or 236D. As for her new voice, glad she still sounds serious and not all kawaii-uguu and shit. Not sure about the new theme, sounds like something out of Megaman X series, maybe Mu = X and Izayoi = Zero? Anyway, I'm hype, can't wait for her to be released so we can see all the changes!

  20. Yeah, 214D only hitting once is pretty sad, but at least it'll be faster apparently. I guess this means no more sweet bomb combos, but maybe she'll get something new with her different stein placements + Ikutachi. Slower C moves is fine I guess, as long as they're not CS1 slow. =(
  21. I for one welcome our new cheerful laser-spewing robot of destruction. As long as she sounds confident and not whiny like Noel was in CS.
  22. Hakumen lost a lot of combo routes, but his meter gain is pretty crazy (IB and successful counters seem to skyrocket his magatama gain). But yet, it's day 1 on a completely new game so let's just see how it all turns out. I'm loving how new Tsubaki looks, I just wish the players in the videos so far would do more than derp in with shield rush like it's CS2 or something.

  24. BBCP looks hype, not sure of the new BGM or hit/tech SFX but maybe they'll grow on me. Also I'll be out of town for the weekend after Wednesday, so hopefully someone can cover bringing a PS3 to Ruben's in my absence.
