Lol. Yeah I like how Spinoza pretty much spent the whole match baiting drive. There's almost no reason for Noel to not try to do it lol. Don't get me wrong both players played really well and Yuu is probably my fav Noel to watch, just that kind of risk/reward game is sad to see at high level play. I love those corner combos off crouching 3C RC. Really charge efficient, gotta start using them.

I'm pretty sure regular dualschock PS3 pad is allowed. I think he just means if you have some kind of pad that can macro your inputs to one button you can't use it. But the in-game button macros are fine. I can bring my setup complete with poverty Dell monitor. Also... ?

Should there be Habacan after the 6C? Otherwise, I can get these to work great except I have to use low loop at the end of the first jC CH combo. Midscreen airthrow into double bomb, dunno why I didn't think of it before. Airthrow > RC > 2C > 5C > 6C > 5D > 214D > walk 6A > 6C > 5D > 214D > 6C > xD > SoD/j2C (3.9k, builds back 29 meter) compare to airthrow RC 2C 5C 6C 214D(w) dash 6A :6B 5C 6C xD SoD/j2C for 4k but only 20 meter back. jC CH, corner-to-corner (behind start position): jC CH > (dash) 6A > j2C > dash 2C otg > 5C > 6C > 214D (w) > dash 6A > :6B > dash 6A > j2C > dash 2B > 6A > 6C > 5D > 214D > 6C > (xD super) (5622/50 MG) Always builds enough meter for super, derping all day every day. You can use dash ...2B 2C 6C 214D(w)... to do the old CS2 combo on Bang, Noel, and others that 2C otg can be troublesome on.

PSN has brkrdave. I used to think Arakune wasn't that fucked up of a character. Then he showed me how wrong I was. (crossup-or-not IOH that leads to 7k+....yeah okay Arcsys).

Easier FC into Gold Burst combo midscreen, starting position to corner: 6C FC > 5[D] > Gold Burst > dash 5C > 5[D] (]D[ hits) > jc jC > j2C > dash 3C (]D[ hits) > SoD > dash 6A > 5C > 2C > jC > j2C > j6D > mid loop > (dash 2B) low loop > ... ...dash 2C > (5C) Omoikane (~8500, 71-74 MG before Omoi) ...2C Yata > (wait for last laser hit) j2C > dash 2C (>5C) or 2C/3C > Omoikane (~9.6k, 80-84 MG before Omoi) Much less execution but doesn't build as much meter due to less charge lasers; need at least 20-24 meter to double super all characters. Omoikane will always be possible for ~8.5k though, so no complaints here. If you want to style you can still do 2D > 214D > j2C > otg Omoikane or 5[D] > j2C > 3C > 214D > j2C > Omoikane as enders after Yata, but the timing is tighter compared to the regular FC combos with charged lasers.

I don't get to play against Tao that much either (only "real" Tao I've played was XDest like forever ago), but I can echo pochp's advice. Just be patient and block, and 5A where you can. Tao mixup seems to be mostly crossups with frame traps and throw/TRM; her high/low isn't that hard to block. Keep them honest at neutral with jC, 6A, and 2B for crawl. SoD, jA, and airthrow are good too. Tao has gdlk neutral and can stay on you for a long time when she gets in, but her pressure has a lot of holes and all it takes is one lucky CH to pretty much give you the round. Whereas if she CHs you with a drive you don't take as much damage and her "oki" with low j236B or purple throw enders isn't very strong.

I think that video is fanmade, some of the colors were cool though. The BB color palettes were just the reverse of BB's GG color palettes. -

I know you can use Mugen combos after a crush but I figure this could be a good alternative if you don't want to use up all your stocks or you want to save meter. (Plus if you have say, 2-3 charges, you could do this combo and possibly reset them into a Mugen combo for the kill since it gains back 40 meter). Plus well, double IAD is flashy as shit.

Hey guys, I dunno if this is old news, but I was practicing the double IAD combo and it looks like you can do it from a guard crush: Guard Crush > (5D charge 1.00) > 3CC > RC > 2CC > IAD > jCC > 5C > 2CC > IAD > jCC > 5C > 2C > jC > jc jCC > j214D > 6C > 236C > 214A > 22B (4525 damage, 40 MG) Anyone know any other starters you can do double IADs with?

Mu: (airdash) jB > jA rebeat jB > RC > jB j9A > jB or j9B > delay jA (Tager only) Tsubaki: (airdash) jC > delay jCC jC > RC > (airdash) jC > jCC j236D -> j214D > rising jA/jC Litchi: (airdash) jB > jA rising jB[m] > RC > jB[m] (don't need RC on taller chars?) Valkenhayn: Rising jC > RC jC Any char with a jB > jA chain could qualify really.

Definitely gonna practice that combo later, sounds very economical and finally a practical use for DP in combos.

You should be able to just manually select Technical/Stylish by moving the character select cursor onto it and hitting confirm; unless the game doesn't let you do that either. That sounds odd.

Some more RC mixups: 6B > RC > 6A (lol) 6A > RC > 6B jB > jC© > 236C > RC (can crossup or not depending on height) jc'able move > IAD > j214D crossup > RC (can RC as early as possible for fake crossup instead, can follow up with dash 2B > 2CC > IAD combo, or follow up meterless if you send them back into the corner. If you're in the corner and cross them up back into it, you can do 3CC RC combo for 4k+) ...j236D > j214D > RC (break a primer and get a free safe mixup attempt) Tsu has a lot of fun stuff, it's too bad she gets absolutely no reward. It's like being a mechanical engineer but only getting paid minimum wage.
