Astral, obviously. =) GOLD BURST > ASTRAL yeahhhh Okay more seriously these are the things I use my heat on the most: 3CC RC combos (if I get a really good starter like 22D and don't want to use Mugen) Mugen combos (if I get a decent normal or throw starter and have 1-2 or 4-5 charge) j236D > j214D > RC > 22[D] unblockable (if the 22D combo would be enough to kill or put them near death) RC mixup (usually only if they're low enough on health to die in 1 baby combo)
  2. ^I'm liking that new throw combo, may be best corner carry of a throw so far, plus the low j2C gives some great oki. Btw, double bomb combo also works after a throw; pretty lenient on every character except Carl. Might be a good option for behind the midscreen starting position: Throw > dash 6A > 5C > (: )6C > 5D > 214D > walk (explosion finishes) 6A > 6C > 5D > 214D > 6C > ender (2670, 37 MG, 40 MG w/SoD/j2C enders) Builds a little more meter than just throw > 6A > 6B > dash 6A > j2C > dash 2B > 6A > 6C > 5D > bomb > etc, and looks totally baller. 236D setups will give you even more heat on block, plus you can use the oki options pochp mentioned. Edit: Okay after testing more it looks like the previous behind-midscreen bomb combo off of throw actually gives a bit more damage overall. So only use this combo on chars the other bomb combo is iffy on (or you want to style/use specific oki). Edit edit: Wow so double bomb also works off of...bomb. So you can 214D while you 214D for a mini bomb loop . Just what I wanted since CS2! All midscreen. 214D > (dash/barrier depending on distance) > 6A > 6C > 5D > 214D > walk 6A > 6C > 5D > 214D > 6C... (2804/37 MG) A more optimal, but less practical confirm for neutral would be: 214D > 5C > 2C > 6C > 5D > 214D > walk 6A > 6C > 5D > 214D > 6C... (3052/41 MG). Spacing dependant and you have to hit early enough during the explosion so they don't float too high, making the 6C whiff. 2C > 5C > 6C rebeat also works to confirm with identical damage/heat but you have to hit them even lower to work. 214D guard crush > dash 2C > 5C > 6C > 5D > 214D > walk 6A > 6C > 5D > 214D > 6C ...(3270/39 MG) SoD guard crush: dash 5D 214D > dash 2C > 5C > 6C > 5D > 214D > 6A > 6C > 5D > 214D > 6C...(3288/43 MG) Off a guard crush 2C > 5C >6C is much more stable so you can get a little more damage; dashing 2C 5C 6C after the explosion goes off seems to get the right height every time. Trying to see if I can eke out some more damage with better normals after an SoD crush while still preserving the loop. Combo video material: SoD GC > 4[D] > JCC Gold Burst > walk 6C > 214[D] until they bounce back > dash 5C 6C > 5D > 214D > 6A > 6C > 5D > 214D > 6C... SoD GC > 5[D] > JCC Gold Burst > 214D > dash 2C > 5C > 6C > 5D > 214D > 6A > 6C > 5D > 214D > 6C...

  5. Yeah he played Hakumang against me and pretty much raped my face; he could've just be messing around. I mean I know when I play Ragna I tend to not really care about what the other person is doing on the screen lol.
  6. Well I'll still likely learn Dizzy cause I like her movement and OAKIZEEM and shit, but yeah, hopefully FB spear and fish laser wallstick open up some new combo routes. I'm also hoping Bridget becomes more viable because I always wanted to learn him too.

  10. Gold Bursts should give untechable launch no matter if it's a CH or not. I was wondering about Green Bursts though; helpful thread. Hated bursting and then the opponent just herpaderps back to me right after, now I know to burst in better places.

  12. "Bit No Good" maybe? In Training mode Dizzy's special menu was "Bit" for her summons, it could just be a reminder that you can't summon a new fish yet (so maybe it won't be in the final build).

  17. I dunno Jimmy it's been awhile but I felt you could be more aggressive/mix it up more when we played. Sometimes I'd be like "I'm Tsubaki, wth is he backing off for?" lol. Tager is actually a pretty powerful character in Extend who rewards fundamentals and good reading. I think if you just played the game more and got more matchup exp you would be fine. Or just wait until "BB3: Just kidding guys this is the real game." or play Ougon with Ruben and I

  19. You won't get very far with that attitude. But Mu is no Ragna or Valken. She needs to be in the right range or have laser/Habaya cover before she can rush in. It sounds like you just have to work on your neutral game. I still play Mu. I just wanted to have a real sub so I decided to practice Tsubaki more. I dunno why I waited until this game to do that though lol. Also GGs earlier; I forgot you used to play Mu.

  21. What ways do you guys catch late tech/tech rolls out of the corner? I've been trying to use 5C since it has good starting proration (5C catch > 2CC > IAD or Mugen), but what other ways are there?

Man if I had a dime every time somebody mashed/rolled/lolquickgetup out of my Tsubaki pressure, I'd never have to work a day in my life. #lowtierproblems Star-Demon, why you just give up? You can CA out of the corner; you don't have to feel like you're stuck there. I mean I don't usually go out of my way to bait them anyway.

  24. Aw, it looks like he got frustrated or something. The Mu mirror was pretty funny though. I like how they both backdashed simultaneously.
  25. Just a small correction, it's actually Tsubaki's 214 series that go through projectiles (and also have some upper-body invul for AA purposes). Charging stars gets denied by projectiles. But yeah. Just bully Tsubaki and you should be fine as long as you mash out of her illusionary pressure don't get rushed down.
