  1. I was so busy trying to find BB casuals that I completely forgot to try out P4A, fuck And I'll probably try out Shadow Labrys for the Mu pallette but she doesn't look like the kind of character I would really enjoy.

  7. If they try to use Ignis's scissor attack where she teleports behind you on reaction to your charging, you can jump back and jA to hit her out of it; it doesn't have any armor. Afterwards you can airdash to get away safely. If they use it against you charging in the air, airdash back jC or falling jC should work too.

  9. To elaborate, I mention 5B[m] because the Litchi caught on to me dash 2B/3C'ing at the start of the round to catch an Itsuu. So they started using that more and CH my 2B/3C/5C every time. So just thought I'd mention it as a good round start option for them; especially if they mix it up with Itsuu.
  10. I'm pretty sure Ted is fine; I've talked to him a few times recently. Maybe he just got a new phone. Have you tried contacting him through private message or Facebook?
  11. Possible safe jump against Noel 4D?: corner combo > j2C > x[D] > airdash jB > land > 2B The jB should hit meaty with proper timing, if they wakeup 4D you whiff the jB, land, and 2B them to CH them out of 4D.
  12. Got to play this matchup a little bit more. Definitely watch out for her 5B[m] near beginning of the match and in neutral. It can beat our your 5C at the start or if you're not spaced right. On CH she can do 5B[m] > 6C[m] > corner carry > derp. Also apparently her 2B (without staff) can low profile our Counter Assault. So be careful when they stagger their staffless blockstrings, or you'll be super sad. The second you see them try to deploy the staff at less than fullscreen, dash and 6C FC.
  13. Extend might be the 'most balanced' iteration but I think a lot of players would agree the game is still pretty dumb. But I don't think the SMP exploit will really change the game that much. It probably makes Noel and Litchi stronger, but most of the other characters that can even use the bug get similar damage off more practical starters. More than BB though, I'm worried about the effect it will have on P4A. Naoto can do her loop off a lot of confirms and getting 100 heat in that game seems pretty common. Imagine if other characters get stuff like that discovered. I mean, I'm sure Arcsys will patch it out eventually but that'll be several months from release at least.

Looking at frame data, she only has 3 moves with repeat prorate (6B, 6C, and SoD). If all four levels of SoD count as separate moves, than that's still only 6. Not like we don't do well more than enough damage as it is anyway.
  15. Wow, really great play by Abarenja. Love that patient zoning against Noel. I just wish JP Mus would actually use 6B > SoD > high loop > mid/low loop instead of the old 6B > SoD > 6A > j2C combo. =(
  16. So I just hooked up my PS3 back at my place and discovered that I have two copies of Extend with me (my copy, and one already in the PS3). If anyone (Marq?) is missing their PS3 copy of Extend please post up.
  17. So something interesting happened to me lately that I think deserves a mention. I remember C0R talking about using rising jB during the opponent's neutral tech, since there is a small period where the opponent is considered standing during neutral recovery even if they block low. Well, I tried to rising jB a Hakumen on his wakeup after setting a charged stein, and they tried to counter...the jB got caught by the counter, but Mu didn't get snagged. The counter just whiffed like if he tried to parry a projectile. I guess the counter caught the lower tip of jB's hitbox, but missed Mu's hurtbox. I want to try recreating this because I didn't get to save a replay. It would be nice if we actually had some safe okizeme against Hakumen.
  18. This was pretty much a one-time thing, but I am serious about getting my own 360 eventually. And double bomb combos are sweet.
  19. It was "Chumaralupa". I need to find a cheap used 360 soon so I can rejoin XBL community. Lol yeah that was pretty funny. Airthrow xN and Gold Bursting through that other Ragna's wakeup DP was hilarious. I was actually having a really hard time against your Jin though. Most Jins don't really do stuff, so I was autopiloting pretty hard at neutral and getting blown up. Mu mirrors were fun, no matter how derp they can be, it's fun seeing what other setups different Mu players like to use.
  20. GGs Nemesis, thunderbolt, and whoever else I played on my friend's XBox. XBL is pretty wasteland, but the connections seem better than PSN.
