  2. @mac rachel can only move toward the end of td. shes 'vulnerable' otherwise (the barrage of projectiles are just protecting her hitbox). td only has 1 frame of invul in its entire duration, so it dosent help often
  3. no. never use td in this match. it is so easy to stop/get in for haku, and now theres a void out and/or youre taking 3k and in the corner... just... no. l agree with running. its surprisingly effective against him. pumpkin is a really good tool here for zoning/wind regen. try going for air pumpkin as much as possible so you can 1/2/3d. you mostly would be doing it to react to his approach or gain some wind. there isnt much he can do, l don think kishuu has foot invul so it should hit. maybe 5/2c will stop it but thats it. stay FAR away in neutral and zone away. alter lobelia shots w/wind and pumpkin timing so he dosent cut them so easy. once you get him in pressure you dont have to worry about ja/2b being countered, l would just use those if l can and back off if hes not getting hit. the last thing you want if to be next to him, especially without wind.

    yes... yes, l suppose that does fit here. i'm surprised you remembered and looked for it lol
  6. by the way, MS, who are some good hime players? do you know? l've only been able to find two (supe l believe is one of the two) who are decent, but they both used half-moon style and were using that whirlwind move very often (think relius 6c with a whirlwind instead of an arm thrusting upwards).

    yea this matchup is definitely balls. if you hug the corner @ fullscreen you can summon safely unless he uses both his stocks from that range (4dd j.6d is REALLY fucking fast - so fast, in fact, it makes my heart jump - and it travels fullscreen). l really, absolutely think to understand this MU you MUST understand his movement patterns and their specific uses. l know theres one where if you keep jumping predictably, he can 5dd airthrow - again, it's super fast and very hard to react to. if anyone know any more moves please post up. lastly, pay attention to his stock guage!!! look at it very often like youre looking at wind. if he has stocks approaching is difficult. however, if you see 0, go balls to the wall. take this time to outright get in his face, or set up your zoning. if you get in, do NOT let up. last thing you want is a counter combo as he'll either gain 50 heat doing it, or it will hurt (jayakou) and he'll STILL gain 50 heat.

    l know about the distanced lanto being less frame advantage, yet it never seems small enough to jump out/mash. relius is usually not far behind with a 5b or something and l get hit... l should really learn to block him, it really isnt so hard after all. and l agree this MU is harder than l thought. at least the air is safe if you can stay away from 4d, airthrow etc. superjump is really good still for getting out the minions. l believe poles are the best zoning tool in the MU, use 236a and j.236a often to approach/zone when you feel its safe. dont even try to kill ignis just go for the husband and try to get in ASAP.
  9. @moy thanks for the info! @MS l dunno the character, l thought it would be nice. the point of the rc is that you can do an instant overhead right after an overhead (which mami isnt) or a very fast low. lf you can do it from mami too, l suppose it would be better but at the end of the day the more options you have the better equipped you'll be. it just may come in handy more than you think

  11. rach cant get out of kokushi anymore, not even delay tech wind out work because rachel's otg hitbox is HUGE
  12. kokushi isnt great though. although it isnt bad either. l think its just right tbh. its the perfect oki for litchi's design, seriously fuck cs1/2 daisharin they were mad op. l want to see lao jiu get its own attack lol. maybe turn into gyaku-gire panda and wreck face
  13. it looks very interesting. the concept is nice and so is the artwork. are there any tournaments of this, or notable player videos? l would like to see the mindgames employed in this game.
  14. l ran into a shiny one today but it used explosion (it was faster than me, and i'm a ghost-type :v it clearly didnt want to get caught.)

    maybe theyre being read wrong. look at the way it's formatted. you may have to read right to left, in columns, etc. the texts seems to closely resemble heiroglyphics in the way that the messages are conveyed.

  23. the rest is about right though, im strengthening my gameplan against bang and ragna today, l dont seem to know an awful lot about either character's weaknesses and l need to be able to play the neutral correctly (and block) to stand a better chance. thanks again herbal grey, kirbster, for helping, everyone else who watched :3
  24. l dont think td is bad if you use it in the right situations. sure there were plenty of times l didnt get punished, but l only use it in situations where l know l wont get punished by the player, not really the matchup - its simple for me to know when as l watch how the foe goes about their gameplan in multiple situations. as for why, well, l dont care on hit block or whiff, the point is to buy time, wind and a summon, anything else l get from the move is an added bonus. thats why l use it often. i'm fully aware of the consequences but they have rarely reared their ugly heads against me since i've been using the move. once a good amount of ppl start punishing it on a whim, i'll have no choice but to use it at a less amount, but as it stands now, the move is rather gdlk
