netplay has been pretty laggy lately for psn side. like for me, a few weeks ago most rooms and players had a 3 connection. but now its usually 0 ping with everyone...

the cakes that rachel eats are good for diets while retaining the taste, so she dosent have the love handles or thunder thighs that a certain other magical girl has. nothing a little weight watchers cant help though.

how do you guys feel about rach? just out of curiosity. she's very rare to be mained and played well from my perspective, but l'm going to take a wild guess and assume you guys have played a few rach's over the course of cs2. lf not... i'll take n/a as an answer. haha

another zoning tools post. feel free to add to it tiny lobelia/sword iris approach - use d, as 236a/b/c or j.236a/b/c's recovery ends, and then jump. this will put your foe in enough blockstun to frametrap with a tk iris. hit, block, or whiff, you'll move a considerable distance from your position. the tk iris will get you very close to the foe with 5d, and with plus frames to boot. pressure: lobelia ends pressure safely without the use of wind. puts a big enough distance from your foe. ln addition, except 2c all of her ground normals are cancellable into sword iris, whose startup is 19f. this creates frametraps from all of rachel's ground normals except 2c. from 5a, 5b and 6b you can tk (2147c) sword iris. the benefit is that by doing this you recover MUCH faster than ground iris, which grants you a huge advantage, around +24f. that's enough to make 4b alot safer for example. plus the animation lingers a bit after tk iris, making your next attack slightly ambiguous.

it does work but requires an extra wind - you'll get it all back though. using ch 6a as an example again: (corner) ch 6a dash 5b j.b j.c 2d dj2c(lv2) delay 2d land 5c(w)c 214a dash 3c... its slightly different if you add jb. you have to add another 2d before rachel lands from the lv2 j2c. for 5cc, its the same height, but the foe falls faster due to the added 2d.

^is interested l kinda broke through with 5c(w)c combos. you all may already know: 5c(w)c is needed to connect 214a dash 3c in the corner. 5c(w)c must be delayed enough so that the foe is hit somewhere in the middle on the second 5c - basically the middle/lower end of the umbrella. it can be a pain timing it to hit correctly. too early and you wont get the hard knockdon (the foe will just tech shortly after hitting the ground); too late and everything whiffs. well, l realized that l should be pressing the second c when the foe's head is around rachel's chin height. and it works on everyone. quick example (corner) 6a ch dash 5b j.c 2d dj2c(lv2) land 2a slight delay 5c (at this point, wait until foe gets to her chin height)c 214a dash 3c (frog hits)... done correctly, the combo will not bluebeat/get teched. 1/2/3 winds can be used to aid with this too but im still experimenting with them. if ppl have questions, or anything is wrong feel free to ask/voice your concerns.

been awhile since this has been posted in... zoning tools: pumpkin approach - if both you and your opponent is near a pumpkin, 1/2/3/4/6d will put you safely in point blank range. pressure - 2d (pumpkin blocked, or P) allows for a very fast 3 way mixup and can be made completely safe; same with 3d(P). examples: *2a 5a jc 2d(P) land 2b *2a 5b 6b 236a jump 3d(P) jb *2a 5b 2b 5b 2d(P) land throw pumpkin 1/2/3d tk george works and is safe, very good for extended blockstrings. example *2a 5b 6b 2147a 3d(P) land 5b 6b 236a (frog hits) you can stagger pressure with pumpkin or make a move safe. this can be applied to all of her normals including cat chair. examples *2a 5b 4b delay 5d(P) *2a dash 2c (if the foe does not dp/mash/get hit at all) late d(P) with pumpkin around rachel's pressure is extremely varied, freeform, and safe. be creative anytime youre allowed to pressure with it. do be aware: unwinded pumpkin will float for 6 seconds while a winded one will only last about half that time.

-purple throw before last hit of daisharin -opponent techs, daisharin hit goes through -airdash -??? -profit? haha. the way l see jd, though it's speculation the staff could be used to stop rolls, and depending on how long you hold it and how close you are you'd get a 3way mixup. at the very least you'd be safe with the right read. worst case scenario there's still shishin lool. l personally love how it looks though so thats fine :3 but yeah idk :/

that would make alot more sense than what l was thinking -_- hmm, alright. thanks.trying to be really creative with wind right now and its pretty hard, im gonna be honest. things i'm really aiming to find out are left/right mixups, using winded dashes in zoning, using other direction winds in combos and pumpkin pressure.some of it is actually working out, like ending in a corner combo from midscreen using 3d. if l find anything good i'll post it.

i'm having a slight problem with rach's frame data and wondering if someone could help me out here. strangely l never really paid attention to sylpheed's properties: "wind recovery after silpheed: 1 - 30f: 0; 30 - 180f: 20; after 180: 160." but exactly how much would wind increase per frame? l'm having trouble understanding what these values are for.

l was expecting something huge and got lots or rain and wind. and then the sky looked really nice afterword. but l forgot to take a pic >.< glad everyone is alright... well those 9 ppl arent but they are in a better place :o

l really wish we could edit color palettes in bb. l have a few great ideas. first off i'd get the CT pink palette back for rachel (the one with silver hair), and a much better shade of blue than the depressing one she has now - seriously, looking at that thing makes me feel all sad for no reason. l'd give litchi some nice stripper colors to wear also, l know she'd like that.

oh my goodness... l remember masa8 from ct days and his neutral game always annoyed me for some reason (IABD summon pumpkin 5d dash x n), mainly because once people saw it enough he never got it to work on them again, and he'd literally get bodied the whole time afterwards for not being more adaptable. l really want to see shachou and msy come back, they were just insane with rach. welp, anyway off to watch these vids. ty spA

l use like 10 characters. nothing wrong with that. but if you find yourself forgetting rach, that could be an issue. as said above just play her a little more and you'll be alright.

this is not how people learn games.someone could feel offended if they felt that their foe had to go easy on them. it'd be better to explain in between matches what's going on, or even go into training and show a few things, like how to use the character. lf you cant show them how their character works, at least show them what yours can do, so they'll at least be more prepared. going easy just makes everyone worse. most people are generally open to help if they see that you're more knowledgeable or better.

nope. no money. l mean l have money, but im trying to switch jobs right now and l need to hold on to everything just in case. sad that of all weekends l had to be busy this one. but eh. lf anything making more money would mean going to more tournaments.
