yeah its pretty much knowing youre going to pay for a 5 second ride at a carnival. honestly its pretty pointless especially if you know other chars, and im not the type to intentionally ruin my chances of winning... offline anyway :P if rachel was competent l would definitely have still used her, but trust me, people saying cs rachel wasnt that bad; offline where everyone knows what theyre doing, the amount of work needed to be put in is tremendous. you could argue that that's the whole fun of things, but its just too much of a gamble imo, in a tourny environment that is. tl;dr, competent players pick competent characters, and l dont think that will ever be different.

throwing your money away. thats how l felt with cs rachel. so what if l know her well, its only going to end badly for me in the competitive scene. there are... limitations.

mu will probably just be bs. now l can agree, with her best pokes, especially 6c, being air ub, among other general changes, a good mu is going to be so fucking annoying to play against. l still dont think she'll be easy to pick up (barring combos), but mu looks quite bs. can anyone even safely jump out on her anymore? l mean 5/6c have absurd range, 5b nets a beautiful combo, lasers give her actual midscreen/oki capabilities... omg she has ACTUAL SCARY PRESSURE! damn, l dont think im going to drop her after all. this is EXACTLY what l wanted cs mu to be, and now its here. ill just sub her.

shes still not going to be popular so it dosent really matter how hard or easy she gets :P tbh l like the easier (well more rewarding) mu. nothing hurts more than to put alot of effort into something so lackluster. cs2 mu looks very legit, and l see lots of stuff being found on her (due to a multiple of changes she has very good oki both midscreen and corner). she seems easier but still dosent look newb friendly, so we'll see how that goes.

Yeah my defense is pretty ass (unless I'm high lol). I'm afraid of showing the opponent too much respect. Like, I play this really good ragna player who bases all his decisions on how well I respect him. When I don't respect I constantly get ch'd out of incredibly stupid shit (setting 2 Steins right in front of him Wtf). When I do his mixup is too gdlk. I understand though that its not about how much respect I give, its when to give it (which comes with general defense and match knowledge of course). So... I need to work on controlling myself and upping my defense? Oh yeah, and this fucking autopilot HAS TO STOP D: I got a long night ahead of me >.<

Although the answer may be obvious to me, is the time for everything going to change? I understand its Sunday and no one wants to be outside too late (dat Sunday dinner :p), not to mention businesses close early on Sundays usually, but I'm just curious since I work Sundays ._.

Yeah I pretty much play everyone the same way. I know enough to not do the things I do (hell, I spend HOURS practicing each day, even now.) its just really, really hard to apply these things in a match. My impulse to look flashy or even the score takes over to the point where I'm literally trying to do combo videos on a good player .-. And a lot of people have told me to just keep it simple and stick to the basics... I find that harder to do when I know that the optimal combo not only looks better, but it makes me feel like I did something right lol. But so does winning, so ill definitely be practicing how to be more efficient in my play so I don't look so unorganized and scrubby :p Thank you.

lk, if l post one of my old vids up here will you critique it? it might be outdated but l want to know what the heck im supposed to be looking for from both me and my opponent which, quite frankly, is hard when l have to also watch steins, pumpkins, poles, frogs, and wind (and everything else). its overwhelming sometimes x.x idk if you've ever played zoners before BUT l trust that you'll know what youre talking about.
