New top tiers please I'm tired of the same people getting the spotlight Well, valk can stay.
-
She puts that ring on me and I kinda don't have a choice from there on. First legit female rapist.
-
you guys are crazy. pink has never been more fabulous. ggs. giga stole your spot last time but l needed to fight him anyway. bullet gives me... not nightmares. a headache.
-
l don't think the devs want her to control her own heat up, you're either going to use the available heat up to it's fullest, or you are not. as stated all her combos end in heat gain anyway. h2 already makes her a dangerous character, no need to overdo it. though in contradiction to this the new blackout does give her an option to use one or two heats while in h2. so it isn't unlikely to see this unravel into something wonderful in future games. in other news, reading all these changes bullet got makes me fucking cringe. she is going to be a beast to fight.

Chrono Phantasma Speculations/Theories [rules updated 10/14]
TD replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
tsubaki is the closest to litchi in terms of sides. doubt any other female good guys will have anything to do with her right now. maybe bullet? she seems down for anything (so long as she isn't getting killed or something). as for nu... what breasts? -
haha. you are right. yeah definitely. it will be good seeing you again too. l haven't practiced p4 in awhile but confident i'll get the hang quickly so don't go easy on me. bb skills are top shape though. l won't be going easy on you. > (jk) maybe ku can come too i'll ask him. it'll be fun.

Yeah I know... It just always bothered me cause you know, net play is free and convenient... I definitely understand though. I can start affording it cause of the job treating me nicely. Perhaps I'll come this time and visit. @ Elochai, I sold my copy 3months ago but it should be simple to pick back up. I'll play with you. But you'll have to find me cause I don't know you. I have long hair and blue glasses, pretty easy to spot i meant elochai, damn iPhone autocorrect

ggs to everyone tonight. plenty more than usual too, l love it.
-
is the venue fee still ah.. exorbitant? in fact, do people even still play bb here? out of curiousity.
-
l find it extremely funny that in no way he uses chain to get in. it really feels like he just goes into matches with him limbs, knives, and venom sword. it's both cool and lame. l suppose a good midscreen button is too legit for this sort of character. AA rensho sounds like the new spark bolt. it sounds pretty gimmicky but it will definitely be useful depending on the angle. (in general it doesn't feel like his signature move at all :/ it's missing something, the badassery isn't all there.)
-
Too easy now? They are easy indeed... But what does it mean, more character specifics? I hope not. Unless combos are compensated in some way.

Even if burensen remains vs starter it would be ok, as long as it stays safe and the other option too, I'm just happy to have an actual standing overhead that is useful. It would solve, albeit very poorly, a huge problem terumi has, being mixup. Nothing game breaking, make it'll be "end the round" tier like the command grab. Shit, even if the second option is terrible I just hope it can be used as an actual mixup, or at least take the 3f after superflash from burensen away. It said "too easy", so I doubt it'll get harder, lol. As for what that means... Well who knows. Maybe the last hit of 22c will wall splat making follow ups easier all around. Just speculation of course These changes sound good

every little bit helps. known already (in the wiki)

Great. Considering my character is one who suffers greatly from fighting her, I do not contest to this, though realistically I do not see this happening. Though it isn't impossible either. if that doesn't happen and she stays the same... I'm going to play her regardless. I just don't like the idea of a character winning for me. And I certainly do not want to fight anyone whose character is winning for them, either. This game is prided on the fact that it takes skill to play, and I would love for it to stay that way.

in terms of kokonoe, this is exactly what I was thinking. She could be top tier even with these nerfs, albeit a little more balanced. This is probably what the devs are thinking too, but may do something more or less than equivalent.
-
Whatever my opponent can't deal with is what I like to do. So, zoning/ defensive in the beginning, and aggresive once habits have been downloaded and yomi applied. If my character doesn't win a certain aspect of the matchup I'll play defensively, and vice versa.

So what do you call the high profile 2d, the low profile 6d/3c, the crossover, and all the drive moves the move her in all sorts of different directions? the character is designed to correctly predict and punish many of your options while in drive. Yes, it is useful in combos. But it is also useful due to its myriad of options. If you see a top[\i] Noel play you will see her able to do things like evade a dp, go through/around a burst, mixup, all of that and more while using chain revolver. if this wasn't the case, the character would not have been able to whiff drive normals at least once in these past 5 years. That is why "d spam" was once a decent strategy and can still be gimmicky one in cp. Noel is a strong character, and at higher play you will see only the most innovative ones placing in tournaments. the key to beating drive strings are to wait. Get ready to block the overhead, low and crossup. Ib everything else, which will come with more experience vs the character. Having a dp makes your options stronger, but of not, most characters can rps a mash/back dash/jump after ibing something. Knowing what she'll do next is important for maximizing your chances to choose the right thing and punish her.
-
that's the point of the drive and noel in general. evasive manuevers. she needs something to separate her from the cast and being generic, and the mechanics right now work for her. be glad you aren't facing cs2 noel.

ggs. next time. terumi has to guess right like, all the time lol. if he does he wins another chance at pressure. but it really is only frametraps. outside of 5c and 2c he has to get ghetto with meterless overhead. like after 2a, 5b, 2d, 6b, all + but j2d can still be mashed so its either OH, attempt a low or legit pressure reset. throws too. honestly it can get irritating both playing him and against him. hes just gimmicky by nature. he is very very fun though, l bet those stomps hurt. as a side note, terumi can 2c j2d or delay 3c mixup in the corner, similar to rachel. its not safe but he can back away/ use frametraps to condition from here.

Montreal: Le Thread Generale Pour Weeaboo Fighters

Hello everyone. What you defined in the last bit is more of a tier whore than a pro. Sure, tier whores can technically be considered pros if they are naturally good (hence a pro), some people are motivated by other things, such as character love, game love, a need to stimulate their analyst natures, and so on. I actually agree with you, in a professional gaming sense. In terms of sales though, I am not sure which is better, or if either one has any advantages over the other at all, but I would assume the fans or anyone willing to put their money down on the game would come first. Kokonoe has been popular as far as I can remember, but I don't think anyone expected this amount of power to come of her. She could still be popular, but balanced and then unbanned. Hell, I want to play her and only dropped her because of how op she was. It's just not fun when only one person is having it. -
hey, blame rachel's sadism. she doesnt shock-and-kill anymore, it's all about the 1,000 small cuts of death now. l said before that l prefer to give the foe multiple chances to get up and block. it's just more fun that way. the smell of fear also gets me excited. what's more fun than letting something think they've escaped, only to lazily seal off their exits... and do it again? once again proving that rachel is the perfect character for me

Ggs I only noticed the last match where I'm like "ok, I'm using all the + moves and each time I get ch" 2a is +1, 5b is +2. The overhead is + but that was usually fine. The first two, I think because I would dash after using them so I could reset pressure with 2a, but there wasn't enough blockstun between the moves and your 2a won each time. It means that I need to start using a different form of frametrap/anti jump mixup. I'm thinking 2d is meant to be the 'safe frametrap' move seeing as it shrinks his hitbox and is +5, while run in 2a is a riskier reset that gives more options. I'm still learning the character, pretty much watching lostsoul's terumi for strats and movement as he is the best I've seen so far. So I'm not taking myself too seriously right now. I like my meals fresh and imported~

can you stop? l don't know what happened to you but this is definitely not how information is spread. im not going to say its never been done; by some scrub talking out of his ass maybe, or some arrogant insecure player. maybe you've been unfortunate enough to get someone like that. though given your track record... yes, everyone should indeed check the information they get. no, everyone who plays in tournaments are not that malicious.
-
he has burst routes. in terms of combos its really after certain hits that involve ignis attacking and relius in neutral. this only happens during certain hits and/or ch without ignis. ignis usually needs to be out. things like 5d 6d, 3c ch/3c jump 6d, corner 4d combos, 214c combos etc... burst safe parts. 3c 236a 6d does not have enough hitstun to link anything afterwards. maybe point blank 5a.
-
you can hold back but there will be at least one frame of you holding forward for 6d. great because if done perfectly you will almost always block a burst during this time. but not being perfect means you technically could eat it. that is the correct method. its a matter of execution pretty much, and even then it could still fail. l guess the point l am making is not expecting it to 100% work even when done 'perfectly'
