I respect more people who actually take the time to combo into their astral instead of just grabbing into their astral. Given a buddy of mine a hard time in a joking manner about how much it irritates me that everyone would rather just grab astral because he has been doing that shit since CT as Tao. Now it's even easier in CS. Played as Hazama for like the 10th time on the web and was sandbagged by a Tsubaki for like 30 seconds so they could astral me. They could have killed me 10x over instead of wasting my time and everyone elses. So going to rip them a new one much later. Bet they won't do that to my Ragna if I haven't told myself to stop using him.

I plan to play as Hisui again and become really badass with her. Maybe check out Ryougi a few weeks right after her. Need to check with my arcades if they finally got a cab of Current Codes already.

Who still do CT combos as Ragna? I mean like the really long ones with strict timing. I'll throw some examples out later but I realized by doing some of my favorite old tricks. They're no longer legit or the hit stun is so minimal they'll tech before the ID as for example. Please do loops from the looks of it. combo examples GH (max delayed) 5b 5d (one hit) GH (max delayed) 5b (D) ID <---Techs before D ID 5b 6a GH (max delayed) 5b 6a j*5c 5d 5c (D) ID <----Techs somewhere between the 5c or 5d 6c (skoop them up) GH (max delayed) 5b 6a 5d HF <---Techs in the first hit of 5d There's more but come on.

This is all too true but for advance play I say you learn your short dashes. Knowing Ragna short dashes after pokes is the best way to get in. keeping the foe out is most likely going to be your 5b, 6a, and j*5a. Though this is how I fight.

Sure you don't have anger mixed with arrogance? I rarely get pissed off and can't manage to remember the last time it happened. Last time I checked I snap at Luffy but apologized for that like two days later.

So what is really hype down there? At Arcade UFO everyone is only playing Blazblue and SSFIV. The other games are just gathering dust which is sad. My only interest down there is only BB since the other fighters are like boring to me. Seriously waiting on the new Melty, Arcana Heart (hopefully more people will play it again by console release), and maybe a new GG. I wasn't too pro with those fighters like TK6, SSFIV, KOFXIII, and Fate Unlimited. I don't think we have KOFXIII....it looks good in a way.

Damn, so many arcades are losing their hype it's annoying me too much. So bad at times I rather play games at my own place as some of the competition is online. Can't wait for some of the fighters I mentioned become available nation wide. Oh right, answer me this. Did GG lose it's hype or people waiting for the next one? Debating to get into the series or not. I was long playing Melty before any of the other fighters. Blazblue would happen to be the next game I took seriously without strolling along with the others.

Putting Ragna on hold and learning Hazama right now. I totally got wrecked by people I wouldn't normally lose to which was actually funny. Plus my primers were being eaten every second. After a few weeks when I grasp this character bnb's and advance combos. Lets get a few fights going on. Sorry to the xbl side. Given my XBOX to a buddy as it just gathered dust at my place and his xbox was out of order. After work looks good for me again I'll come to your side for a little bit. You have my promise.

Have anyone who uses Ragna encountered their Hazama rival yet? Most of us wants to get that ultimate rival showdown now that we have our hands on CS. So far nobody on PSN as a threat and no news from XBL side either. No real Hazama users at the arcades either. So I been thinking of practicing him myself to get this little deal flowing. Want to knock down a few Ragna's some notches here and there. Don't get me wrong. Recordings will also be available. btw- Was totally waiting on Platina but the brat can wait.

Can't we just get along and trade Ragna tactics? (Maybe anyone else we have in common?) I figure it was all of my fault for causing a disturbance at first for selfish reasons in the Ragna boards. Though it's all done and I can't do much about it.

CrownEmpress- There is more space for improvement in all areas of your Ragna. Involving ID during Noel " Chain Revolver." Too highly reliant on bnb's as you could branch your options our more with some of the links you manage to connect. Also try to get into your opponent face as you'll net most of Ragna damage that way. Improve mix-up as I seen your really dependent on 3c and 5d and attempting to link everything to BE set-up. AXIS- Reckless, yes. Dumb....sort of but I think not. If you have confidence in your style of combat defeating any Arakune should be simple. Even if your cursed. From the few I fought and looking at the fight I provided. You can see that Arakune can't set up any loop unless your really a few feet away from him. So I kept my distance. In its face with Ragna pressure you know it can't defend too well without using a counter assault. -
After the Axe Kick I would go for a back dash 5c on the way down since it picks up large hitboxes to sometimes catching the foe during the roll. Here's a nifty trick that catches most to all opponents in a counter hit is during the descent back dash and go into a GH. From my own experience I most likely punch them in the face as a finisher and go for oki. Hate the feeling of falling back down with your opponent teching behind you into a special or an effective counter of their own.

If your wondering why I'm standing still and eating D bugs (I think) it was lag kicking in some times. Truth be told, I have no control over BK. I tend to go through all of my fights without.
