Just hold the stock unless you know you can kill off lvl.1 heat. I've contemplated this set up before just to abandon the whole concept since you'll whiff your next attack after 5B/6B or they'll sometimes tech before 5C. Though if you're so desperately want to waste the stock do 5B because that's almost guaranteed to hit before they tech and jump cancel it into high low mix-up. They're still in the corner, you have no stock, and very poor oki to work with. Just hold onto the meter.

Hidden changes -Rage Aggressor has less jump during it's animation so confirmation is slightly tighter anywhere on the screen -Heat 2 wall stick has them pinned for a shorter duration (Anyone else caught onto anything differently?)

Great contribution gerwulf but I don't see myself landing CH 3C as often for CT combos, I really want to apply these so badly.

Whos taking time off when XRD finally releases for console?
Sadeyo replied to r0b0t's topic in Guilty Gear General
Leave days are like gold in the military so I'll be saving them for another time but don't count me out as an competitive contender, I like to test my skills against more of TX. players. -
At this rate sticking with old habits is the good way to go, there's almost no extreme difference in her game play. If I'm struggling with anything it's getting down her final super the 1080 after she throws them in the air. I'm holding onto 1 stock or even two at a time and I'm like idiot twirling the joystick around for no results. I'll study it some more in the training room after work.

You mind giving me your opinion on Clarice changes as well or is there a website I can turn to? Weiss setplay is reduced? Does this mean she's less brain dead and requires a little bit more tact? I've been having a blast with the game in the last week I had like 4 players at where I stay pick up an interest in it more then I did have followers in BBCP, must be all the jailbait or something. One is learning Saki and Elsa and the other plans to stay with Lillith and I want to point them to a good site. I'm thinking HomingCancel.

Video is now in the critique section, hopefully we're a 'help me help you' type of group or this is going to end up being a rough road. I'm in my comfort zone with Ragna and Bullet and hopefully I plan to reach that form of performance with nu-13 since she's the last to hold my interest in the roster and feels rather comfortable to play and maneuver with. I'll attempt to upload more videos every week and browse all the necessary videos and combos to improve a little bit more quicker.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jO0v_WEg3Qc&list=UUSWFwW7yDCCwwajY97IaZ3w Me playing off of impulse but guaranteed I plan to invest more time into her. This 22A stuff really makes you think in the middle of combat and I'll admit I'm a scrub but in due time there should be some promising results like I did with Bullet. Just let me get through my Drakengard 3 hype and possibly some of AH3.

GGs to the random JP/KR players I ran into lately, sad I don't remember no one name since the competition is a just whole new slew of players then who I averagely fought back in the states. Look forward to more recordings everyone.

I probably would've enjoyed the vanilla version of this game more if I decided to learn to Weiss instead of Heart or Angelia when I first gotten into it, playing her was almost like playing all of my old mains in history of gaming, eventually everything just flowed together while confirms just came naturally. I'm hoping competition is still active when I come back to the states. Mashed on Vanilla for like an hour last night and Weiss and Petra just felt natural and were calling out to me. Hopefully these two didn't take no extreme changes by Love Max that the comfort levels drop. I'll post my info later, I have work to get ready for.

I have a nu-13 video recorded but to embarrassed to upload it. The opponent respected me a little bit too much when my knowledge behind her is so little next to you few. It was up against a Hakumen.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=faAHlFpnySg&index=1&list=UUSWFwW7yDCCwwajY97IaZ3w Minor slip-ups but I feel like I'm getting the basis back down again. Critique or enjoy the video, I may be back to weekly uploads again depending on my situation. -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BkiVlC87TU&feature=youtu.be#t=10m02s My Bullet after so long, still trying to get used to 1.1 changes so critique or just enjoy the show. Up against Azrael and Kagura.

Ragna Critique and Self-Improvement Thread

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BkiVlC87TU&feature=youtu.be Blazblue 1.1 patch. Up against Jin, Azrael, and Kagura and I'll admit my performance is not top notch, still getting used to the changes. Critique or enjoy the video, thank you. -
I'm happy I can still do most of my vanilla combos but there's this one thing that's bothering me, does 5D (2) on a floating opponent cause more float? I'm whiffing 214A quite a bit and you'll see it in a video I'll shortly post. I guess my normal go to combo are like- Standing 5B 6A 214B 214D 66 5D (2) 214A <--- Crouching 5C 6C(2) 214B 214D 66 5D 214A <--- Couldn't be my opponent hitbox could it? I noticed it more frequently in my match against Azrael.

If you can actually do mix-ups no heat 2D/6D is more then enough. Start-up may be transparent but if you express a strong fundamental without too many reckless actions your opponent may respect you enough for the mix-up. Rapiding off of them may be suggested because the pushback is not enough to be in safety so it's about as risky as doing her DP. I should have a video up in an hour or two. Still adjusting to 1.1 changes so the performance is not going to be top notch like I normally like. Just supporting the team.

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)
Sadeyo replied to Hecatom's topic in Under Night In Birth
Eltnum army is the way to go. Bring back that Melty swag and body everyone. Fake tier list or not it's almost understandable why she's placed so high. -
Not sure how soon I can provide videos but 1.1 nu-13 seemed to have survived the purge of changes and actually feels comfortable. Sad other characters feel slightly blockier or heavier when I attempt to play them.

5C FC 5B 5C 6C OD 623C 623D xn 5C FC 5B 5C 6C 623C 214D 5C FC 5B 5C 6C (land) jB jC 5B 6B jC jD My 5C was respected amongst many of the competition down here and its not like I recklessly through it out. It was all for their poor performance with long recovery and a free fatal to go along with it. I noticed another change in Bullet gameplay. The super Rage Aggressor has a smaller jump at the end of it so it became tighter for those corner ending combos, you might need your opponent to drop a little lower (just hope they don't tech before it).
-
I'm actually upset with the 5C change. I miss that simple FC set-up into shennanigans, now I have to momentarily charge it and at that point the opponent mostly recovered. It was almost enough to make me drop the character to an extent. I'll play a little bit longer with her and just see if I'm blowing it out of proportion...I probably am but damn do I miss the 5C FC without the charging mess.

May 2015 is good window to prepare and save money. I really don't see myself missing this and I'm all there to support the scene and such while demonstrating how strong the US can be. My only downfall is knowing how Reserves going to be when I'm back on the civilian side but I'll keep you posted. I'm willing to pay 1k to 1.3k for my ticket and anymore I'm slightly against it.

So I believe I'm pretty efficient with the characters I play which are Ragna and Bullet. I kind of like playing characters with a strong abare, rush down, and very great neutral game to work off of. I think it's about time I add a third character to the team and I'm pretty challenged when it comes to learning either Noel or Tsubaki. I'm constantly swapping between the two to find that comfort zone and challenging multiple people yet they hit the same way. What's uncomfortable about Noel is that her drive feels very unsteady and unsafe while Tsubaki struggles for efficiency without stock, what clearly makes the two stand-out from one another and who do you suggest between the two? Thanks for the help in advance.

I'll be Texas but I plan to travel more often then before and at least participate in EVO, support the scene the such (as long as the games are good). I traveled before so you have my word on visitation most likely. Texas scene, Arizona scene, and Vegas scene. I eventually plan to swing by Japan in Winter for streams or something (not sure which area though, maybe Akihabara since that has well known stat for electronics).

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)
Sadeyo replied to Hecatom's topic in Under Night In Birth
Sion in a tier of her own, that made my day. I will admit I never saw Merkava or Waldstein making it to S tier. It just means I have to pay attention to those characters a little bit more when they're on YouTube. Still, it's difficult to picture Hilda on the bottom of the tier list, just no love for villains anymore (she is evil?). I'm too hyped for my own good since the announcement I just sit down for almost an hour or two a day figuring out the mechanics all over again. Sad there's not enough Eltnum players out there, hard to come by her videos. I don't recall her learning curve ever being difficult.
