  1. Of course it also works on downed opponents, but downed also counts as airborne theorically (since a hit during that state will count as such). I used the meaning broadly because it is obvious enough that 22C is mostly used on downed opponents.
  2. But that's exactly what happened in the video, I know it's not easy to notice. 22C can only catch airborne opponents.

  10. My advice? Find suitable opponents. It's much more easier to spot mistakes on his and your gameplay this way. But *first* you must stop, and *think* about what makes you lose, what hits you, why you lose your health... This works against any player, but there are times you aknowledge all that but can't do anything to counter, since the player is clearly superior and you're just getting outplayed/outskilled. It seems the issue here is far from being bad execution, and has more to do with your mind and how to play against humans...

Crush Triggers should've been implemented as a buff, that gives guard break property to most, maybe all, moves (character then glows or some effect takes place to indicate he's into guard break mode. Course, can't last forever). Of course, charging and meter would still be required (say, to perform you just need to hold the normal move). And depending on which move, if would stagger for a fixed amount of time and deplete guard bar accordingly (would be bad if A moves staggered for a long time).

  15. You need to be as low as possible during the j.BB and hit the first dash 5B > 5C as high as possible. It's pretty feasible this way if you ask me..
  16. New mechanics and complexity are only added after the game becomes stale. GGX wasn't definitely a complex game... It takes time to achieve something like AC. I don't know how Xrd is going to manage to balance all 24 characters (assuming they all come back) + having the old complex mechanics + scratch new engine without being an unbalanced trainwreck. I believe that Xrd will become a more complex game as new iterations arrive.
  17. I agree with all points! One thing that definitely kills the hype is not playing the game with newcomers frequently, or finding suitable opponents for them. I say that because, while I had positive feedback from the local community in P4U, most just vanished because didn't I bother with playing them. :/ Lessons learned haha
