Even a 40$ video-card can run BBCT. And yeah, building setups for tournies could be hard... But we don't know how demanding the game would be, and maybe even a cheapo laptop could run UNiB on low settings. Not to mention half world got a laptop and are easier to carry. -
Depending on how active the frames are and when dash-cancel is possible, you could pretty much earn awesome oki of it. Meaty DS > DC > Stuff... Blood Scythe feels like Hell's Fang on block, except that you're not limited to ID/Throw gimmicks... better yet, on IB you wouldn't be punished. Since 5D DC is gone, the new Deadspike could fit as a nice replacement. Didn't bother to check others characters "bullshit", but Ragna seems strong again. Too bad it may not mean taking tourneys

UNiB may be the savior of anime fighting games around here, since everyone plays SF4 and SFxT because they're on PC. -

At the very best, you can get +3~4 frames off perfect 2C. 5C has 15f startup. So yeah, you'll get mashed out of it.

Oh I see, yeah I also got an invalid one for Yu from that site. Btw, about Memento Mori Finisher... The typical finisher goes like Bufu -> Zio. Can I exchange to Zio -> Bufu stuff -> Memento Mori since Bufu is necessary first?

This isn't working for me: 5B > 2AB > 236CD[2~3] > 5B > 5C(2) > 2C > 214B > 2C > 236B > 2B > j.B > j.C > 236CD[8] > j.B > j.C They tech on the last 236CD.

Are these even useful in this game? Yes, probably to catch quick-escape mashers. Frametraps 1-frame 5A> 2AB 5A> 5C 5A> 236C 5A> 214CD (lol why would you do this) 5B/2B> 214C 5C> 214D 2-frame 5B/2B> 236CD 3-frame 2A> 5C 2A> 2AB 5C> 2C 5A> 214C 4-frame 5A> 236CD 5-frame 5B/2B> 2C 5C> 214AB I think that's all... I'd remove stupid stuff like unsafe enders, but idk, someone might be able to discover something useful. Somewhat safe AoA setups? Yu's AoA has armor property on the 15th frame until the 24th, which is the startup (the frame that hits). So in order to auto-guard Reversals and mashing attempts, and being safe, you'll want your AoA armor to come out as soon as the blockstun ends. I found that 5B delay 5AB is the best for countering both mashing and reversals. If I didnt delay the AoA, some reversals like Mitsuru's would beat me clean.

Crazy stuff like crossunder XSlash and OMC combos are still there, but are not something never-seen before. This game is kinda limited combo-wise to be honest lol I'm thinking about a SMP combo for Yu~ edit: fffff why cant I acess the framedata on famitsu anymore?

If you're willing to spend some gauge, the carry could be improved using 2C EX Zio OMC somewhere, plus OMB. Wanna see if it's possible to fullscreen carry with something like that lol edit fullscreen combo: 2C 214CD OMB 5D dash 2AB 5B 214B~5DD 214B 2B j.C j.214A

Interesting stuff off frame data: 5A has 5 active frames, so it's pretty neat for meaty/OS attempts on opponents. If you perfectly meaty it, you'll be safe against 12f startup reversals. On Naoto's, it's much more easier due to her startup on the shot. 214A is -2 on block. Yu's fastest move is 5A, 5f startup. So it's kinda safe against characters who doesn't have sub-7f startup moves, like Yukiko and Teddie. Of course, watch for invincible moves. 214B is +3 on block, so it's kinda safe to use 5A afterwards. I believe you get more frames if you manage to meaty it. D Zio is +9 on block, so you can pretty much to anything safely. However, it's preferable to leave some space to safely bait reversals. Also, Kanji's DP won't hit you if your Persona attacks, right? At least this is true for Akihiko. Not sure for Yu.
