The game supplies you with an invincible reversal (B+D) to get you out of those situations. However, it can be baited by the opponent and you might get punished horribly. Buut, baiting gives you a small moment to reverse the momentum. People will usually try to bait Beth's B+D with a jump... in this case her gdlk 2B can beat the jump cleanly. This doesn't mean though, you should B+D every single time you're recoverying... Don't be predicable with it.

it's useful for airdashing crossups and I think you can't block if you're not facing your opponent it's crucial to use air turn during air recovery too

Probably hitstun is what makes combo'ing hard, I also had a hardtime getting my combos down. My button layout has D on R1, since I play S.Lab. You'll get used to it eventually!

Yellow Exclamation = Air Unblockable Blue Exclamation = Overhead. Remember, it's blue because the sky is also blue, and so, hits above Green Exclamation = Low. It's green because grass is also green, therefore, hits on the ground.

Chaos, this is a request a thread. As long as the requested recolor is posted everthing is fine. I know it makes me sound like an asshole but that's how it's been for almost 2 years and no one complained, until now, and makes everthing more simple. Sorry Androu, thought it would be ok to post your recolor, I'll make sure to credit from now on But it sure feels like a kick to the balls when you come and accuse me of being an art thief, since that's what "you didn't credit me" means. Even though a simple recolor takes no more than 7 min, while the templates that I and Murki made probably took 48 hours of work, you made a great deal about it.
