Yeah, I was going to ship them off to Gummowned and have him do it, but I decided I wanted some stick modding experience. It's definitely a useful skill to have if you're into fighting games. If I mess up it's quite a bit of money down the drain though
Hopefully I don't wreck it irrepairably. -
So will I need to fix that wire I fucked up, or will it not be needed for that mod? Also it's worth mentioning it's a lot shorter than the other wires, so...yeah. :|

Ahhh, I forgot about that. In the beginning of that guide, the guy says to make the normal connections from the MC cthulu to whatever 360 PCB you're using. Is there some sort of guide on how to do this? Or are all the solder points labelled on both the cthulu and the TE PCB?

I'm planning on making removable chords, just to get all this modding done once and for all. Doesn't sound all that hard. So the buttons go to quick disconnects which go to that black line thing which go to the PCB which somehow go to the Chimp?
Where are all those wires leading to the chimp coming from? -
I'm confused as to how I would wire up an MC cthulu to a TE. Wouldn't I have to do something weird with the wires?
-
I know, weird eh? It's working perfectly fine, I was playing CS earlier today no problem. Very weird. Also I think instead of doing that I'll just buy a shitty madcatz 360 pad and use that PCB, since I'll need one for the upcoming mod anyways.

Damn, nice mod. Here's a picture of how I fucked up my 360 TE PCB: http://i991.photobucket.com/albums/af37/saysomethincute/hhh002.jpg?t=1283575297 As you can see I completely splayed the GND wire, so I couldn't make it fit back into the tiny hole to solder it back in. And all the other wires I re-soldered are barely holding on.

Are you planning on going to Akicon? I'll be there for the CS tournament Bohemian Polka is running, would love to get some matches in with you, and some money matches if you want.

I just read through all of this and I think I'm going to attempt it. Hopefully I don't mess anything up :| Edit: I just opened up my TE and tried to disconnect everything to get some sort of experience before attempting that mod, and I totally fucked this one wire up. It was labelled "gnd", right next to "sgnd". I literally destroyed it beyond repair so I just hooked everything up anyways and everything worked fine. What happened with this?

You have a wonderful talent for confusing me ;_; I'm thinking of buying the Toodles Cthulu for multi-console. Will that enable me to make my 360 work on PS3 and PS2, or would I need to buy other things? Also, is there a guide for doing that kind of mod? Sorry if you already answered this, but all those threads and guides just confuse me D:

Does this guide you sent me forever ago make the TE work on PS2? Also, if I'm having problems/ get confused, do you mind if I spam you with questions? You seem really experienced in modding sticks
