  4. they've made one for #r, and slash. with each building off the previous. Then for AC there was just some sort of combo video the slash one was called wargasm. I forget what the #r one was called

    Tekken 6

here's the BR one http://wiki.livedoor.jp/inatekken/d/%a5%ec%a5%aa%b4%f0%cb%dc%b5%bbTBR TZ also has framedata buried somewhere in the spam and other nonsense. They were scanned out of Arcadia, when Arcadia did a partial list. I have the scans from then. Dunno if there are newer scans or not. I think the japanese wiki copies from Arcadia also.
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUO3iGUksUI ABA is hard to get coins on. You can't land coin off a throw, and landing coins from 2D sacs your knockdown. To get your coins, you commonly need to just throw them randomly or land a CH. The cost, of a MistFiner, is going up, while the rewards remain the same. Higher Mist Lvl also makes MC to block Danzai easier and gives you tighter pressure. Chipp, on the other hand, he takes so much friggan damage, the reward is going up, while the cost remains the same. I just like to get back at least equal to, or more, than what I put in. It's like, I can do a MF combo on ABA, I get all the Oooo's and Aaaa's for doing Johnny stuff, but then I become invested in that MistFiner and have to spend more meter to ensure that I at least get a knockdown out of this investment. Then find myself back at Mist Lvl 1 with less meter then I started with and a crimped tension pulse. And now I need to regain those Mist Lvls, while being less threatening to ABA. Or I can just combo to a HS or 2D; keep my Mist Lvl, have more meter then I started with, and have a strengthen tension pulse, while being at frames/knockdown. And I'm still threatening, while not having made more work for myself. Or in the case of comboing to MSJH, I get the same knockdown and roughly the same damage, and I get to keep my Mist Lvl. I guess the difference for me is that I'm planning long-term. My damage may not be coming in big chunks, but at least I'm maintaining good flow. I haven't tooled around with other questions yet. Like, "Should I be doing MF combos that ends me with the same Mist Lvl that I started with, or is it better to save the coins for zoning?" Right now, now that I am aware of the speed glitch, I'm just focus my efforts on retooling a lot of my rhythm, reflexes, and reactions from Slash to AC.

    Tekken 6

neutral blocking doesn't block everything holding back, or down+back for lows, "forces" a block that will block everything. Try not to accidentally backdash. And don't always trust the animations in this game, some moves don't inflict as much block, or hit, stun as they may look. In fact, there are a fair amount of moves that are frame-disadvantage on hit! Some moves put you in a special hitstun that is escapable by tapping a direction. If I remember correctly, there's some sort of 'fall to knees' stun that you can lessen by tapping forward, and some other one that you lessen by tapping down. (or maybe it's the other way around?) Moves like that are usually far between, they don't come up much. There's also a rolling knockback that you recover by holding back.
  9. ROUND 1 FIGHT get hit by gimmick #1, die "Well, fuck. I guess I'll try to look out for that next round" ROUND 2 FIGHT get hit by gimmick #2, and die :get up, shrug, walk away:
  10. There's always time for one-out-of-one match single-elimination, Japanese style, tournament. If that's not gimmicks, I dunno what is.

  12. lol random maybe they're testing the waters, like when capcom did hyper fighter, speculation, speculation, etc
  13. I vaguely remember someone playing aba.
  14. Timing is a bit strict. It's easier off a LMF2 (doesn't knockback as far) and lighter characters. Sometimes it's impossible of a MMF2. But LMF2 should work on nearly everyone but Robo and Potemkin, who you modify with a 2P-K(ji)-HS. DB doesn't knockdown in #r, so most knockdown combos are going to involve 1-hits or leveled Mistfiners. I'm going off by memory, so I'll doublecheck everything latter and get back to ya.

    tips and advice?

    Get good at Mist Canceling.
  16. I'm around, doing my thing.
  17. Ian, c.S>j.HS is air tight. Do c.S>2D for mixup, though the c.S>2D isn't airtight, but it's alright cause Steve H can't DP that. c.S is also plus frames, right? You can just do c.S with no followup if you wanna tick throw or some other bait.
  18. SF2 cuts straight to the mental game and hugely emphasizes spacing. You can build up the same basics in GG, but some people are too ADD to focus themselves away from all teh combos and hot setups straight from Nippon. edit: you only really need the first 3 or 4 hits of each of Xiaoyu's 10-strings
  19. we could do it old school and you all take the metro to my place and I drive the rest of the way
  20. golden shower is unblockable and tracks
  21. Wait for ArcSys to make moves faster, or make jumps slower, or make throws harder to break. till then, jump with em
  22. yeah, don't be like early gg
  23. probably gremlins
