Yeah theyre not unblockable, u can see them getting blocked in multiple vids. They were fully charged in some of the them as well Also about The TC> valiant combo, is that a cancel like TCL or are they linking valiant after cobra's recovery? -

1200 is the minimum BHS damage IIRC. Yeah BHS is best used as a combo ender imo, you can see Shadow's Az in one of the vids trying BHS>RC> IAD into combo but it didnt work coz he was too far, might have worked if he hit the BHS closer to the corner but its still a stupid way to waste all your meter. Is the cr.C x3 combo CH only? it was in one of the recent vids and I was laughing too hard at how stupid it looked to check.. -

And sadly there's not alot of Amane footage lately so yeah its not surprising seeing the thread like this <___> either way here's a random question, when Amane is in OD does his drill meter stay fixed at lvl3 till its over? like, if u do a 6D and hold it while in OD will the meter stay fixed or will it start going up and -eventually- overheat? Coz if its fixed I can see some nasty setups like setting a drill *opponent blocks*, you activate OD and put a 6D on their head for like 10 seconds of nasty chip 0__o

Sup dudez~ New Rachel user here, decided to pick up a new char to keep things fresh while waiting for CP.. Quick Q's, how good is she lookin in CP? Is she better or worse than she is in Extend? Lastly where am I supposed to start <.< ? Im reading the CSE gameplay guide thread but im still feeling kinda lost, is there some sort of Rachel beginner guide? If so i'd like a link or something so I wont bother u guys anymore ^^; *goes back to training mode*

Yeah you can see from Shadow's vids (he really loves that j.AAAAAAA..) that he'll adjust the combo/blockstring depending on the height difference. Random Question: Do we know what Amane's theme is called or would we have to wait till console release for that? Also Merry Christmas fellow Amane fanatics~ Hope everyone's having a fabulous holiday ^.^

idk about slower, it still seems pretty quick AND alot of people are getting hit by it so Its still pretty good.

Interesting, Yeah I've seen Valiant hit w/o a WP and it has the same effect the last hit of TCL.. Azreal doesnt recover from the valiant kick quick enough to do anything though. Hornet I've only seen once in a match where the dude just did throw xx hornet chaser after applying a low WP. There was some other Az that kept trying to do it randomly after he hit a low WP, seemed pretty slow even though he absorbed some hits with the armor but the opponent always had time to block it then punish.. -

I'll definitely be contributing as much as I can to help out with the MU info, granted I have limited char exposure locally (Plat, Haku, Bang and Tager.. dunno if that'll change when CP is out) but at the very least I'll try to cover as many details in those Matchups as I can =D -

Heh, never really had that much of luck with my "mains", I usually happen to main someone bottom and a have a secondary that happens to be high/top tier >__> always not on purpose too lol Either way, as others stated I dont think Amane is bottom. He has alot of potential and there's still alot of room for improving and finding new tech. Having pretty much no defensive options seems to be one of the main things that really hurt him, you dont really see any of the other characters get as bulldogged as Amane when they get close enough to pressure. I've sadly seen matches where its more than 20 seconds of the Amane just blocking shit and cant really do much about it. I'm sticking to Amane no matter what though, cant even remember how long its been since I've been this stoked for a new character in any game. I'll also have Nu and Az on the side so even if there's some reeeally bad matchups I'm sure one of them can cover for him ^__^ Also link to this said list? I'm curious to where Az/Nu/Relius stand and who's at the top/bottom

LOOOOOL too good, Amane too fab for youtube xD Oh yeah I think I remember that now, derp.. That doesnt really prove that they dont have a hurtbox.. as I mentioned in the last post Axl's chains also did that where bursts wont hit Axl if they touched the chain but they still count as limbs (they clash, extend his hitbox, get hit/countered etc). I know that its punishable "on paper", it has pushback on it though and so far I havent seen anyone punish it in any of the Amane vids which is why I was asking. ??? Who said anything about air specials? I'm talking about Gekiren (623C), the document that derQ has mentions that its air unblockable. I was stating that I'm pretty sure that I've seen footage of it being air-blocked.

Wow its really gone? wtf happened D: K finally got into reading the document properly (was always on my phone >_>), a few things: - I'm almost 100% sure that I've seen 623C being air-blocked, IIRC it was an Amane vs Hakumen match and the Amane was fishing for it hella hard and at one point the Haku jumped and air-blocked it.. I'd try to find the video but Jourdal's channel gone so <__> - Do we know if the C normals have a hurtbox on them? like, if you throw out a 5C being max range and Ragna ID's the scarf, would Amane get hit? I've seen Bursts touch the scarf but Amane was unharmed, but I'm asking coz Axl's chains were the same way yet if someone hit the Chains they counted as part of his hitbox, I ate countless Johnny supers for throwing out stupid chain limbs from full-screen away. - Is there any footage that shows his D normals being projectiles? I thought it was only Hariken and 6D that are confirmed as projectiles.. - There's no j.4C IIRC, its only j.5C, j.6C and j.2C. - Is there any footage of Raibu being punished? I remember seeingsome matches where people would RC it on block and read a few posts saying its punishable but I dont think I've seen any footage of it being punished. The pushback on it seems pretty decent and he recovers relatively quickly so I'm curious.. I've seen Gosei get punished though - I thought his air C normals are only cancellable into fabhop? and you'd have to go j._C xx faphop xx Gosei to combo? at least thats the notation that was in the combo video posted a while back. Edit: nvm looks like thats just to get the proper spacing for the j.236C to combo ^_^;

Relius looks really solid in CP, some are saying he's high tier (early speculation obv.. But he's looking pretty strong). The buffs really help him out in everything, and his pressure is just nasty now.. Wasnt really planning on playing Relius anymore once CP hits but after seein some matches he looks he'll be alot of fun to mess around with and troll people. -
I like that idea, I'm definitely gonna contribute as much as I can. I have a few notes as well that I'm willing to share if we actually start the guide =D

Amane's drills are projectiles and only lvl3 drill hits low, so you SHOULD be able to absorb the drill. Dont think its a good idea though as Amane will always be there trying for follow up with 6D/combo/whatever.. -
Yeah i never said its bad, definitely has its uses. Was just making an observation more or less.. Do we have a clear pic of Amane's first 6 colors? Dont think i've seen those

Yeah I noticed that too. Reminded me of people setting off Testament's trees and shit with crouching limbs. I'm also noticing that people's usage of j.2b is very rare now as opposed to the first week or so.. i barely see it anymore. I've also yet to see any combos with j.6D in matches, even when people start a combo in the corner and have lvl3 no one seems to use it, wouldve thought that more people would use it for the wallbounce to extend their combos.
