  1. Sexiest things about that video, IMO, are the relaunch with j.S(1) and the extended fuzzy setups (Done by causing a guard state, extending the blockstun with a bomb, then doing a fuzzy setup. I'm not sure whether this works, but if it does, it's insane technology that will make justice really hard to block
  2. Anyone messed with traversal-->throw and traversal crossup shenanigans? I've been playing around with Eddie this version but I'm not good at him yet, so I'm not sure this isn't completely fraudulent.
  3. Looks like $129/night normally, $99/night on the tournament days as per NEC discount. I booked a room thurs-sun, so my room costs $99x3 + $129 = $426 total, split between however many people it ends up split between.

  5. Actually, unlike FD, Slashback can actually cancel an airdash. Not only will you turn around, you'll also drop faster and travel less far horizontally if you do it early enough, and it works for most characters with airdashes. I use it primarily to cross up, get ground confirms or high-low mixup from IAD overheads (by falling faster), or just to confuse my opponent's spacing. As an added bonus, it means you can slashback from an airdash faster than you can block, meaning that at least in theory, if you know something will hit you out of your airdash and you won't be able to block it, you should always try to slashback it.
  6. Yeah. The counter just starts basically a throw animation when you tag it, so she'll grab anything anywhere. Pulls him in, gets you a combo, just like from anywhere else. Also, projectile invincibility is not a thing.
  7. Sword definitely does not count as a projectile, BTW. You can saperia through it because of the invincibility, not because the projectile will eat a sword hit. However, it not being a projectile means you can catch it with your counter if you're sure a low isn't coming, which is a risky guess but can force Zappa to second-guess his sword offense sometimes. I'd argue saperia's pretty risky there too, but obviously you'll have to accept a little risk to get in on Zappa.
