I probably would've done worse if I had actually gone. I would've been like R4 Sagat in double perma rage mode. I'd also have CC too.

Moral of the story: don't go to big events sponsored by people that don't have previous tournament running experience (i.e. Evo staff). Just reading this makes me pretty mad. I know if I was there I probably would've become red faced with anger and probably blown a blood vessel. I'm glad I decided to stay home on Friday instead of going to this tournament last minute. I had this sinking feeling in my gut that I'd end up disappointed if I went (I was stressing the fuck out of myself while trying to decide if I was going to go or not), and had I gone, I probably would've went off the deep end and screamed at the event organizers. I'm glad I decided to spend my Saturday night playing shitty BBCT with my friends, coming home to watch WCG grand finals, and playing eroge.

Rachel can play the match at whatever pace she wants. If she does it correctly, Tager can try and spend the entire round getting in on Rachel, or she can pretty much rush him down really hard due to his poor defensive options and large hit box. To say "there are no lobelias and no random summons" is an ignorant statement. That said, I somewhat discourage character specific match up details in this thread. In other words, I think it's best for the thread that people avoid talking about X character vs Y character in one post (rather than multiple characters and their match-ups). We have character specific forums relating to that, so please just ask there instead of cluttering up this thread. I'm not saying it's horrible to talk about, but I think that kind of talk is better to talk about in the respective character forums.

I just deleted 16 posts related to Heroic_Legacy's horrible opinion. Not only was it a horrible one, he didn't even give reasons or specific details as to why he listed those match-ups the way he did. I couldn't tell if he was trolling or not, but it warrented a delete regardless. I highly recommend anyone DOES not post their opinions based on their online experiences, because more than likely you're going to be wrong. Online play is NOT the same as playing someone in real life. This thread is for discussing high level play and the match-ups that result from it. Online play =/= high level play. Also, please avoid talking about asking for advice in regards to specific match ups for your character, and talking about your personal experiences with X player; that is what the character forums are for.

Without going into too much detail, here's the basic rundown. Rachel's zoning > Tager Rachel's 6A > any jump in Tager has Rachel's 6B > Sledge (which he needs to deal with her zoning) Rachel's j.A > Tager's huge crouching hit box (free high/low mixup without wind, she can practically pressure him infinitely as well because of this)

Okay, I just went back and deleted over a dozen posts that were extremely off topic, as well as gave infractions to those that contributed. This is a match-up chart about competitive level of play; as such, unlimited characters are not allowed in tournaments and should not be part of the discussion. You guys should know better than to talk about that stuff. If you guys want to talk about "which unlimited character is the best", I'll be happy to redirect you to here.
