  1. Even after posting a big warning on the very first post, people are STILL posting random questions/comments (although I let a few slide) when they shouldn't be. Infractions abound from now on. You were warned.
  2. I used Ragna most of the tournament because I didn't really care about the tournament that much. I scrubbed out pretty hard anyways, but oh wellz.
  3. I lost to your Nu. I was sad. lulz Anyways, ggs to everyone, old and new! Glad to see everyone again after what felt like such a long time, and it was good to see some new faces too. Fred, I'll give you the bracket image tomorrow.
  4. I went ahead and added this to the top of stunedge's post in blue color. Now no one new to the thread has ANY excuse to post ANYTHING other than information related.
  5. Guess you're heading to SVGL tonight to post one, aren't you?
  6. The only way to prevent that from happening is allowing the stick to go neutral, meaning you're not holding a direction down for a split second after the 3C hits.
  7. What's the exact numbers on that combo? I'd imagine if you're close enough to land 5B 6A, doing 5B 6A 5D(1 hit) -> 214B~214D, land 5B -> 623D 236C 214C would do similar damage plus leave you in a better position.
  8. In theory I guess they could, but in practice I doubt it would happen much.
  9. I like watching Nico videos of Kaqn's Ragna when he does Dead Spike. Usually every time he does, he gets CH for it or dies horribly because of it. Following comments are usually "DS-chan lolololol".
  10. Why would you do that combo when the 6D j.D follow up after 214A RC is better?
  11. Then they can get punished for even being more obvious. Tager backdash =/= Potemkin backdash.
  12. You know, you could always do this thing called double jump. The whole point of jumping in the first place is to see what they're going to do; not to autopilot j.C on the way down every time. :o
  13. Jump up, wait, j.C on the way down if he isn't doing something lol like spin super after back dash. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but you're at practically no risk for baiting out a backdash with this method, and even if you guess incorrectly, Tager's lack of an anti-air will make the j.C on the way down safe.
  14. Galileo is one of the best Tagers in Japan, probably better than FAB.
  15. So in conclusion, Jiyuna is the world champ of badness.
  16. 26th seems fine. Keep the theme up for every last Saturday. I should be able to make this one this time. Maybe I'll play Ragna. (゚Д゚)
  17. Jiyuna is bad. Real talk.
  18. You're telling people to do combos that are "scary to use", but as "scary" as they may be, they're not good combos. You don't go into a thread where someone is asking how to improve and tell them to use "scary but not good" combos. :\
  19. watch again! you got hit by a forest blazer special. okay maybe not l2tech, but l2waggle stick (no homo)!
  20. Pro tip: don't listen to Blade. In any case, what it really is going to come down to is getting more experience and improve your basics such as blocking/guarding correctly, IBing, knowing when to Barrier Guard, knowing when to attack, and reading your opponent, and adapting to your opponent. That's all there really is to do once you've reached that certain area. There's only so much potential a character can have, and once you've reached it, it's up to you, the player, to improve your playing skills.
  21. Ask a mod. :\
