  2. Pretty much Susumu(CH) was so much better than all the others Chipp-players in #R so Kakyuu started saying that "this isn't Chipp! this is Super-Chipp!!" and then he pretty much randomed out that "there are only five of these Super-Chipps around!!!!" when there pretty much wasn't five chipp-players that strong. Barely one- But he's still randoming it out when like Summit/Samitto, Susumu and sometimes even for Nikukyuu... But pretty much; Kakyuu just randomed out the number five, when in reality there was only one. And now two with Summit. So yeah. That's the true story of "SUPERCHIPP!!!"

  5. I guess it's kind of a glitch, but it's not random. It happens because Baikens throw only has 1 active frame on the hit, and testaments net cancels 1f of attacks (that's why two nets nullify the use of sakura etc). So the hit that causes the slide never actually hits, thus there is no proration from the attack of the throw which allows the juicy damage output from it. The slashback of the first net is more to show that inputting the sb-input kind of makes your hitbox bigger so getting the sb is free when the net is so close to you that if you poke or move it gets active, which kind of often happens. It's character dependant though, but it works great for Baiken. It's not that useful though. ^^ Edit: Oh and a friend of mine uploaded it on nico for anyone's interested http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm12266621

  13. Hey. Good questions Judging on the playstyle, color and the level of skill it's either N.Otoko's Sol or someone I don't know from out of town (not probable since if so, that person wasn't attending the ranbat). I know that he played Sol in that particular ranbat and that he talks alot about how fun it is to play Sol so I'm pretty sure it's him. I used to live in Kansai two years ago (for one year) but I still keep in contact with my friends over there. Ogawa was just there one time I'm pretty sure, same with Shonen (and Woshige but he still made it to 8th Dan lol).
  14. oh my god a proper baiken combo video?!? http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?10184-GGXX-AC-Baiken-Combo-Video-quot-Legend-of-Kyoto-quot&p=771813#post771813 ask away if you have any questions.
  15. Hello everybody. I am proud to present to you my very own accent core Baiken combo video “Legend of Kyoto”. I tried to mix both fancy & stylish combos and mixups together with useful and efficient combos. Of course, some silly stuff made the cut as well. I made everything by myself without too much experience with After Effects and whatnot, but I think it turned out pretty okay. I also chose music that I personally like, and while I’m not expecting everybody to like the same music as I do, I hope everybody still can enjoy the combos even though Baiken isn’t that much of a fancy combo-character. I guess you sometimes have to pause to read the shout-outs during the credits but there’s nothing I can do about that ^^So without further ado, feel free to watch it on the platform of you’re own choice: Youtube YoutubeQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOn8TPUYrc0 Download HQ http://www.rimfrozt.com/gg/Legend_of_Kyoto.avi And feel free to check out and subscribe to my new tumblr-account where I’m going to write stuff about the Swedish-scene and post videos as well! http://guiltygearsweden.tumblr.com/ Stay humble and keep on playing that Guilty Gear everybody! Peace out. / Shinjin from Sweden PS. If somebody working on the frontpage wants to show me some love and put this video on it that would be great

  18. Kansai GGXXAC Danisen-thread Some of you might have heard about the 3rd strike danisen's they have in Japan. Well three weeks ago my homeboys in Kansai started to have danisens in Osaka for Guilty Gear XX Accent Core. This is a thread for anybody that wishes to be updated about the results, and when videos start getting released I will of course start linking them as well! ---- New players begin at 1st Dan Players fight other players within 1 rank of themselves One win = +1 point, One loss = -1 point, +3 moves the player up 1 rank, -3 moves the player down 1 rank Rankings go from 1st to 10th Dan, with special rankings after 10th Dan After 10th Dan, players only fight other players of the same rank, and must instead get +5 points to move up a rank ---- Held saturdays at Vegas Gamecenter at Tenma-eki (Osaka) --- Current standing ■Results after 12 rounds of Danisen (2010-11-20) ・10th dan Woshige (MI)±0 ↑ Summit (CH)±0 ・9th dan Ruki (DI)-2 ・8th dan Doubt (SL)+1 ↑ Rozu (KY)+1 RF (FA)±0 LOX (JA)±0 N-Otoko(VE)-1 ↓ Omito (JO)-1 ・7th dan Dogura (TE)+1 Dogura (RO)±0 Dogura (SO)±0 Tanaka (ED)±0 ↑ Susumu (CH)±0 Yuuki (ED)±0 Maddo (VE)-2 ・6th dan Efute (MA)±0 ↑ N-Otoko(SO)±0 ↑ Tsujikawa (SL)±0 ・5th dan MINT (TE)+1 Dogura (SL)+1 Koro-chan(SO)+1 Dei (TE)±0 Doraes(AN)±0 Defure (FA)±0 Susumu (ED)±0 Ogawa (ED)±0 Woshige (TE)-1 NEW Jyun (AX)-1 ↑ Kedako (MA)-1 ↓ Kazu (JA)-1 Hae (SL)-1 Kabegiwa no DC(JO)-2 ↑ CPO (PO)-2 ・4th dan Tara (PO)+1 Nabe (MI)+1 Nununenu (MA)±0 ↓ Mogura (BA)±0 eki-chan(ZA)-1 Souhei (DI)-1 Hama (OR)-2 ↑ Akira (AX)-2 ・3rd dan Jyun (JO)±0 NEW Eternal(SL)±0 Summit (AB)±0 KJK (SL)±0 Matsuura (SO)±0 Susumu (SO)±0 Kaeru-kun (ED)±0 Donko (SL)-1 ↑ Bob (JA)-1 LOX (FA)-1 Doubt (ED)-2 ↑ Rozu (SO)-2 Shounen (TE)-2 Iroha (MI)-2 ・2nd dan Ruki (SL)+2 ↑ Yuuki (SO)±0 ↓ MGA (PO)±0 Omito (TE)±0 Charisma(FA)±0 Summit (TE)±0 K-mura (ED)±0 Omito (CH)-1 Koro-chan(OR)-1 Efute (KY)-1 MGA (SL)-1 N-Otoko(MI)-2 Poruporu (AX)-2 Chimi (SL)-2 *Won't bother updating information about the 1st Dan* ----------------- Videos ----------------- http://www.youtube.com/user/HamaOrder

  21. Hello Mike, long time no see. Hope you're health is okay & that your spirit is still strong! Just dropping in to give you some props, it's a really nice thing you are doing updating the blog and spending all that time taking notes for the blog and writing about all your Guilty Gear-adventures. I think your blog has turned into a source of inspiration to alot of players here outside of Japan. Qualifying to Tougeki in Japan is a bitch, mad respect to you for all your achievements this year. Can't say I have followed your blog all that much, but I as much as you've been doing much better this year and previous years. I still remember those feelings one had when one got far in qualifiers, and taking the 赤切符 is pretty impressive feat itself. But for got or worse, there is always the pressure and the dream to get the blue one, and the red one just simply isn't blue. I should've learned better form our talks in Japan about putting pressure on oneself, since that was one of the reasons behind me choking here in Europes biggest tournament & sbo-quals. But a loss is a loss One has to simply learn from one's mistake and get stronger. And I can see that you have grown stronger so, keep it up and so will I Do, help out and write as much as you have energy & time for. Like you said, there is still two weeks left. Enjoy those two weeks, and do your best! Fact remains that you are big contributor to the scene. Oh, and with this post I don't mean to give off the impression that I think you have gone emo or something Just some props from a guy that has an idea about how life qualifying for GG-SBO in Japan is like. Rock on! /David aka Shinjin
  22. It's in the process of being processed as we speak, I hope. If my vBulletin-execution is not dropping those bnb.
  23. The Monarchy of Sweden approves of this thread
  24. Don't forget about all the optionselects using riseup- & throwinvincibility after block together with 1f jump or throw (fuzzyjump & fuzzythrow). Those are universal as well, altough more useful for some characters and in some matchups than others, & are a necessity if you want to play on a highlevel (imo). I could write an article about them if people are interested. I am suprised that I still haven't seen anybody write about them here on dustloop since those optionselects are such staples for the japanese. On the other hand, I don't read threads here on dustloop so somebody might have writen about them already somewhere. /peace
  25. I don't have any of the videos, including the SBO ones, so I have nothing to do with it, so please spare me the accusations and the hate. There is really no point. Nehle has the SBO-videos & Yonasu has all the other videos. But I agree, somebody should fix the videos them and upload them asap, though it's not my job to do. I have told people to fix the videos but they have not. Sad to see that people think I'm that kind of person despite everything I do for the community. Edit: And to ATG: Awesome! Glad to see you guys still enjoying the awesome game called Guilty Gear! Would be nice if we could meet up again sometime, but who knows that chance will come! Anyways, Ha det bra och hoppas vi ses någon gång! Ni är fan nice!
