All I can say is - I don't see Sin as a bigger threat than Slayer. Take that as you will. We'll see how the game develops when people start working on some real tech and gameplan with Sin. On a side note - am I the only one who was left speechless at how easily Faust can clear away tasks and outpoke Bedman? Granted I'm struggling hard to formulate a gameplan, let alone play effectively, but still at times I could only see myself jumping back and throwing Task A. If Faust is not quickly dispatched after continuous, relentless rushdown I don't see any way for Bedman to prevail.

Huh, you're right, Tiamat! Due to how Bedman falls down I mistook it for 883. Thanks for clearing that up. @ Poultrygeist I have little exp with Sin/Elph so far. All I've gathered is that Sin seems to be one of the not-so-bad matchups, on account of him not being as capable in blowing up tasks as say Faust is. Elph, I dunno, rifle seems dangerous but at the same time its damage isn't too bad outside of situationals.

Does anyone have any idea how to do ADDF so that both j.K and j.S will come out? If I do 993 or 883 quickly then all that happens is I get j.K realllllllly low to the ground, but when I watched Tsubu play he could do and air dash and still have j.S come out, his j.K came out way earlier. like here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ai-YP6pnFNk#t=45m24s you can clearly see it. I don't believe it's a matter of inputting quicker, as no matter how quick I do it j.K either doesn't come out or hits the opponent in the feet. If I do 2883 (hj.ADDF) then it still doesn't work. I'm lost here.

Seriously? I can get the "on pad" part, but on stick it's not only easy, but fun. No better way to relieve stress than to mash that C, especially when it leads to 4k+ damage. If it's really an issue for you, maybe try different button setup? Like bind C to shoulder buttons, that might help.

My bet is that the footage is so slow intentionally - ASW wanted to showcase all the familiar moves. Ofc game proper cannot run so slowly. Other than that it looks like something worth waiting for, but I'm more interested in whether or not ASW will finally change it's release policy. -

Do we have some sort of early consensus on how does Test fare right now? Watching his matches right now makes me feel like he's quite a beast. Needs a lot of meter for FRCs + FB Skull, but with that he has crazier pressure/oki and combo damage isn't noticeably lower. All is so far offset only by not having a good reversal anymore. Missing something?

If they're thinking of just puting in easy/beginner mode (or both lol!) instead of trying to dumb down the whole system then there's hope.

Well they did the same thing with Testament in GG. He lost Grave Digger loop only to be given Bad Lands loop. But in all honesty, I don't mind having a loop with 3-6 reps. 10 reps is stupid. About new Tao: Do we have any info on useful, new AB2 combos?

not really, I've tested both Happ Comp and Super, and they both felt very, very different from the one used in Hori FS2.

So anyway people, let's not get too depressed until we get our hand on the final version. Who knows, maybe ASW was really just checking how bad Tao can be made for dem lulz, and we'll see none od the changes from loketests applied to CS2?

No problem. the ... part is important for Tao, because as you might've already noticed if you just input j.C > 9D9 asap it won't connect. With a little pause between them the enemy floats up a bit due to j.C hit and becomes susceptible to 9D9.

Spacing in combo. When you have ... somewhere it basically means "delay the next attack a bit"

No, no, no. The system would implode trying to please both gg and bb fans. By which I mean ASW wouldn't give a penny about pleasing GG enthusiasts and would just slam GG chars into BB esque system so that animu fans would have bigger roster to write/draw fanfiction about.

Tager will never become the new Potemkin. Even if he rises up to S tier he'll still be half as much fun as Pot. Still I think having high tier grappler is ok. I loved fighting pot in GG and I love fighting Tager in BB. Those piglets and their hitboxes. -

Nah I'm really chill about this bbcs2 thing, I've just thrown out some thoughts. I like Mu, so even if Tao becomes umplayable (lol) I'll have other char to fall back to. In terms of changes I mostly care about two things: how much will the changes affect S tiers (the present ones and possibly the new ones) and weather arcsys turns out to balance bbcs or just shift the tierlist. Point is: they've made a lot of drastic changes in those loketests, so they ~should have a good idea on which of them not to apply. I guess we all are curious on how will (if?) the final version work out. -

After all those loketests I'm seriously wondering weather Tao will become the new rachel or not. They're either going to make her perfect mid (with removal of TL and addition of real oki enders of j.2b) or rachelotherapy (with more d startup, less d hitstun, 3c combo removal, j.2d same move prorate). Only good thing to me so far is that at least Mu might not be overly nerfed. -
I like fighters in general. I love gg. BBCT being advertised as "spiritual successor to gg franchise" That's about it.
