  1. I did it in the tourney at Evo (sorry Ken!) Basically, if she has the staff coming back and does a 6C, next part of the combo is either DP or 5C xx DP.
  2. By "XX" do you actually mean RC, or just "do something next"? Cuz for no meter, the best you get is actually ASledge->Followup. :^P Well, you can do ASledge, 2A xx Spark Bolt but they can tech (nobody does, though) or if magnetized ASledge, 2A xx Collider for a tech trap since pretty much nobody will neutral-tech. With meter...unfortunately, 360s add a ton of tech-scaling, so your options after are severely limited: ASledge->Followup RC 6C Shot 2C Collider (probably won't work on Carl) ASledge->Followup RC 5C Collider (nearly same damage, just over 5K) ASledge RC 6C airthrow, falling elbow, land 2B xx Collider for the tech trap (6K+ for the actual combo, but airthrow is techable obviously)
  3. You can also airthrow it with a super-low airthrow...
  4. WOW the Heat you gain depends on the damage you do. So? SO! If they've bursted, 360B, ASledge->Followup gives you *50* Heat, meaning you can always RC. You can always always do 360B, ASledge->Followup RC 5C Collider for a cool 7549 dmg. Or you can do 360B, ASledge->Followup RC 6C xx Shot, 2C Collider for 7938...or even ASledge->Followup RC (6C->)5D, because most people will be mashing on tech at that point, so you can Collider reset into 6C xx Collider to kill anyone. [edit] Nah, Collider combo walk is much longer - it's pretty much the same as the walk forward part of doing Pot Buster FRC 2S->2H xx Heat on May. LOL, that would only be useful to Raekwon, so: You hold 6 until you actually see Tager start to move, then immediately slide to 3 and hit B.
  5. So, turns out 360B, 2B xx Shot, Followup can be done on Jin and Hakumen if you walk forward before the 2B. It's actually easier on Jin than Haku. This means the combo only doesn't work on Carl and Arakune (since on Rachel you use 5C anyway).
  6. For a bit more magnetism, you can also do Crouch CH 6A->2D RC 6A->2C->5D xx Shot, 6A->2C xx Collider, for 6382. (Crouch CH 6A->2D is awesome starter!) If you don't have the 50%, you can do 6A->6B->6B->6C etc (whee 2x 6B!)
  7. His dashes during Furikazan are not affected by magnetism. :^(
  8. Yeah, I'm dumb. And I'm leaving it there for everyone to see! Errorful frame data originally had 2f. Sweet, BSledge unpunishable by Tager is hot stuff.
  9. Sledge will hit her out of the super, however since it does > 2400 damage you will get hit twice by the end of it. If you time it right, you can actually Sledge RC Sledge, though.
  10. +3 normally, -5 for Instant Block = -2. 360B = 2f startup. Punish away!
  11. blah blah 5D xx Charge is usually pretty what I go for, since nobody's stupid enough to tech in the air anymore. You can get a two over-half-held Charges that way before Jin can hit you with anything.
  12. You only get to follow up Terra Break with slow moves if you missed a hit of the MTW or you CH with it, otherwise the tech scaling seems to be too much and they can recover first. I usually go with 6B->2C xx Collider, but you can also do 6C, airthrow or 6C->5D. If they're magnetized you can always just do the 2B xx Collider tech trap.
  13. Anything that takes damage will stop it - frog, Nirvana, bell bug (AKA 'hat'), etc. Also Jin's Here's Miami (er, ice wave super) Litchi's explosion, and probably other stuff like Carl's Gear super...
  14. Also, if you want to combo Shot to Astral without RCing accidentally, do Shot as 41236+C+D, continue to hold C while adding A and B, then mash D. It's not as hard as it sounds. I just wish I knew if Astrals are allowed in Ranked matches now. :^P As well, if they're magnetized, 2C xx ASledge (whiff), Astral is a great tech trap - use after a Shot, for example. If you get a CH 2C xx ASledge, the Astral will combo...
  15. Adding a few extra-sexy random combos: 2B->2C->5D xx Shot, followup: Ragna, Tager only. 2B->2C->5D works on a lot of chars, though. If they are already magnetized: (BSledge,) 2B->2C->5D xx Shot, followup. Can followup with 5C->6A->2C xx Collider for massive damage. Works on all except Carl.
  16. Hah, I was just there to see if Astrals are allowed in Ranked, but thanks. More later!

  17. Well, even things like his 5C->5D, you can Sledge after the 5C...and no, what I was saying was that pretty much whenever you could backdash, you could 360A or B instead of backdashing. A is only vulnerable for 3f, and B grabs after 2f. You can do backdash then 360A, but they can hit the end of your backdash or the tiny startup of the 360 if they are lucky.
  18. Your (A) and (B) options for Jin can both be beaten with BSledge. Also, pretty much any time you could backdash, you could have just done a straight 360A instead. As well, off 5A spam you can do 5B xx Shot, and go from there.
  19. Didn't exist, here it is. Kill him quickly! If he does a combo into slide (3C) and you've been hit more than 8 times by the time he gets to the 3C, he can't follow up so just tech. If you've been hit 8 times or fewer, BURST, for the love of all that is good in the world! If he hits you again after that, you lose, so just get used to it. I did. :^( Matchup Info: If Carl combos into a 3C and the combo has fewer than 8 hits, burst.Keep in mind that Nirvana can stop Spark Bolt.Sledge will eat Nirvana's moves. Don't use it too often, though, because Carl can still hit you.
  20. Didn't exist, here it is. Elbow drop the frog. Sledge a lot. Watch out for fork, one or two CH forks and you lose. Extra-great in this matchup is 360A: You can followup with 5C->5D on Rachel, getting you magnetism and more meter. Matchup Info: Against Rachel, 360A can be followed up with C -> D.Sledge will plow through her projectiles. However, her lightning super does enough damage to stop it.Use j.2C to destroy the frog.Don't let Rachel's fork move hit you.
  21. Didn't exist, here it is. In this matchup, STAND UP! She can't do anything fast and damaging without meter if you're standing up; as long as you can block her slide (3C) and crouch to avoid her command grab (421A) on reaction, you're good to go. Matchup Info: Remember that Sledge can go through several of her moves, including C and D attacks.Be on the lookout for her 3C move; be sure to block it.Crouch to avoid her 421A move.Do not jump unless you know you will be safe.
  22. This may be old news to some (shup, Jais) - I have just learned, via comments on nicovideo, what the "(up to 2400 damage)" note on the frame data means. Dur. If you take more than 2400 projectile damage out of a Sledge, you straight up get hit. This explains why I keep getting nailed by Jin's ice wave for a few hits when I Sledge it...I thought it was just my timing. Ah well...
  23. If they Hell's Fang and you IB it, you can 360A the followup. After a few of those, you can 360B them for not doing it anymore. :^)
  24. Offtopic posts are offtopic, and I just remembered I'm the mod, so behave yourselves please. Tao 2A goes straight under Tager 5A...but at the same time, Tager can do blahblah 623C, walk up 6C xx 623C on her. Something as simple as CH 2C, 5C->6A xx 623C, walk up 6C xx 623C will do around 5K damage. Yay! Also, if she pokes with 5C->6C xx 236A(mash), you can IB->360A inbetween the 5C->6C, and inbetween the 6C->236A. You can also IB->720 for funs. And remember, if she does D~B mixups, 360s work no matter which way you're facing!
  25. Um, the 360B will catch them out of their recovery, without Jin having a chance to attack you. I'm not sure why you'd choose to do something that 1) isn't guaranteed and 2) would give them a chance to hit you instead. :^)
