  1. I just realized that the frame data boxes are messed up. The guard properties are in the P2 box as well as some other messed up things. Will work on transcribing combos later, have to attend to this issue first. I might ask shtkn if I can edit the template so that we can include guard data as well. EDIT: While I was fixing the frame data boxes, it seems someone had already taken the liberty of doing it. You have my thanks, whoever you are. Now back to work on transcribing combos.
  2. Do you remember the conversation we had on facebook about Rin? Yeah, you're not terrible people. Roger that! Now, when is your birthday?
  3. You know, Pozer, I could always just bake some cupcakes for you. All you have to do is ask.
  4. AnimeEvo sounds great. I think it would be awesome if there was an EVO-like (super huge turnout, hosted in a hype location) tournament but for 'anime' games. GGAC, BBEX, AH3, MBAACC, Aquapazza, Daemon Bride would all be in the line-up, if I had the choice. I'm super grateful to Ryan Harvey of Arcade UFO right now. FlameIce, Scottie, Yuushiro, and myself all pleaded for ranbats for BB. Our prayers were heard and answered. Even though, just like everywhere else, far more people show up for the MvC3 and SF4 ranbats, he gave us our own spot this season, with a stream for top 8 nonetheless. Words can't explain how happy I am right now (I was on the verge of tears when I saw the news, that's my passion). I wish I knew when his birthday is so I could bake this motherfucker a cake. I've got a mission this semester: find and hunt down all of those lurking BB players at UT, at least the freshmen and sophomores that live in the dorms near me. Hoang joked (although it is rather true to the situation) that "do we even have 8 players for BB in Austin?" While we do have enough to meet the quota, I still want more people to show up. I know they're out there. The BB ranbats have a mere $2 asking price, so there's no reason in the world why players in the immediate area shouldn't show up. I guess this does get back to Alan's (St1ckBuG's) point, though. I am only 18, just finished my first semester at UT, and I don't have all that much money (have yet to find a job here, hopefully being a teacher's assistant will work out). I do like anime, hell, I love it. Does that affect me being a BB player? Completely the opposite. BB is the reason I got back into anime in the first place. But before I lived here in Austin, hope for a scene was non-existent. My hometown is Glen Rose, TX, a town with a population of about 2,000. Netplay was out the question as well. I've played against three people online and those were the most laggy, unforgivable experiences of my life. Basically all I did with the game was grind out combos ad infinitum (which I still do to this day) as well as beat the story mode and got my ass wrecked in score attack mode. So when I found out there was an arcade just up the street from campus, I just about lost my shit. And I did. I've yet to win a game against anyone, save for twice against Scottie's Valk (when he just picked him up, so it only makes sense) and Yuushiro whenever he decided to play as Hazama against me one time (though there have been plenty of times where he has played Hazama and wrecked me like he normally does). I had never played on stick before the start of the semester last year. I've still got a long way to go, but you can ask any of the Austin crew and they'll tell you that I've been there every weekend that I could since August. So how do I help the scene at all? I'm just some scrub who plays Hazama cos I think he looks cool. Well, I'm still currently in my hometown right now for the winter break, but I'm currently doing what I can to help establish the Hazama wiki page. I plan to be at every single BB ranbat this season. If people decide that there's going to be a BB side-tournament at EVO, then you can count my ass in as well. If the community decides that a different gathering should be main event of the year (in that, the turnout will have guests from across the continents), then I'll show up to that one then. Something that I think should be taken into account for whatever major we decide is THE major to show up to: plane ticket prices. Since this is the poverty scene that we're talking about here, if there is trouble in reaching a consensus on which major to choose, expenses should be the first thing that comes to mind.
  5. Pozer, Marcell, Scottie, FlameIce, Josh, Kenneth (??), myself, and someone else who plays this game casually like yourself or Jeff... maybe one of the SA players? Yeah, it's whatever, though. Maybe some randoms might appear and try to take a shot at a BB tournament. There was that one Noel player...
  6. The winner of BB ranbats will get round-trip plane tickets + 3 nights at a five-star hotel to a tropical island with pretty girls cosplaying as BB characters. Drugs and alcohol a plenty. You heard it here first. ...not really. BUT A MAN CAN DREAM, DAMN IT.
  7. I already did it. Working on transcribing combos from the Hazama video tutorials now. Don't worry I'll only get the simple ones and the useful ones. I'll leave the offensive and defensive strategy part to the rest of you.
  8. No I don't mean Vatista, I meant the UNREAL BLACK THING Merkava. He reminds me of an Anti-spiral messenger, what with the circuits all over his body and the flowing white... whatever that stuff is on his head.
  9. So is it just me, or does Merkava look suspiciously like Anti-Spiral Nia? Also, there are silhouettes of the next two characters they intend to reveal, in case you all haven't noticed already.
  10. Alright people, I'm in the process of editing the drive section of the Hazama wiki, and before I finalize anything, I wanted to ask you guys if you thought it would be better if the follow-ups were displayed first as opposed to the chains themselves. It just makes my life easier since I'm basically saying "X follow-up is good to use after X chain" in certain sections.
  11. Real men play as Nrvnlkfvndxvzclptywqwhatthefuckisthisidontevensqr (<----pronounced 'Nero') Chaos.
  12. Thank you for telling me this. I checked my email this morning, but checking it now, it says that I received it at 3:34 p.m. Odd. Well, thank you!
  13. Dusty hasn't been on since 5:15 a.m. on 1/9, Zidane has been gone for longer, already PM'd shtkn, どうしよう?!
  14. All I want is a profile on the wiki! Why is everyone fighting?!
  15. I misread it as "convince your mod to make you an account" as opposed to "convince your mod to have me make you an account." My apologies.
  16. Kurushii-kun, perhaps you could do it, since you're online right now... b-b-but it's not like I want you to do it just because it's you!... baka.
  17. Furi-poo, could you pretty-please make an account for me on the dustloop wiki? I PM'd Dusty around noon, but he didn't get on today
  18. If the wiki is evident of anything, it's that we get along just fine without mods. Being a mod isn't a glorious position, you know. The privileges you get are mainly used to close and delete useless threads or deal with idiots. The idiots especially amass around new games. Do you remember how bad BB general (the thread) was when CS1 was about to hit consoles in the states? Or when people made threads regarding the DLC characters prior to CS2 and had all that speculation going on (lol "valk is going to be like slayer and gallon combined, you gaiz")? Bad memories, man. I haven't checked the threads for Skullgirls or P4U yet, but I can only imagine what kind of hellish asylum might possibly await me there.
  19. Sey, can you confirm if 214D~B>Astral works in the corner or not?
  20. On the wiki, it says that 6A and 6B are special cancelable. Is this true in Extend?
  21. Pozer!!! Why didn't you tell me?! If you want me to bake something for you when I get back, just ask.
  22. Eh. More or less not true. Yeah, I agree, there's an issue if someone can't tech throws or jump out of them or something. But I don't think anyone should ever stop playing because of it. That's the worst thing anyone can do. If someone always waited for someone of 'their level' to come around and play, then they'd hardly ever get any matches in at all. Yeah, their efforts may be futile time and time again, but until they are intrinsically discouraged, there's no reason they should stop playing. Now, I won't say that this is without exception. If someone is completely and utterly new to BlazBlue (or perhaps fighting games in general) and they're going up against one of us, then of course they should probably not play. But in our circle here, there's not really anyone who's at that level. In the end, no matter how annoying or troublesome they may be, just let people fight you, Pozer. For someone like you, others may seem hopeless sometimes, but don't tell others to give up.
  23. Updated the post on page 13 once more. Cleaned up the 4D and j.5D chain sprite and added Jakou w/effects (both the deployment and the follow-up). I'm off to bed for tonight, but post here tomorrow if you have any more requests. EDIT: added drive follow-up motions (based off of 5D~A/B/C/D). Sorry for the ghetto arrows
