  1. Carmine has the most badass theme song out of the cast so far. Let's hope there's some Merkava and Vatista vids next Friday.
  2. poon, they already made a show about that. It was called fighting foodons.
  3. "Scaley Might" might be better, but we don't want better. We want sales. That's why we are resorting to teh animes to sell stuff. It's so much safer than starting with a new IP. Think about it: do you think Capcom made Street Fighter x Tekken because they thought blending the two franchises would make for a great game? Of course they didn't! They knew that thousands of people put up with the two franchises and masochistically kept buying each new installment hoping that it would be as good as the ones that came out in the 90's and that the same fools would buy a huge, messy crossover like SFxT so they could make huge bank. Oh, and trust me on this one: the only place you'll be finding gems any where else in Capcom is on Yoshinori Ono's multi-jewel-encrusted codpiece that he buys from the revenue of SFxT.
  4. Black Rock Shooter fighting game? That actually has potential but the designs aren't MOE enough for animu fans. Pretty Cure fighting game would probably work better and sell more. A Clannad or Kanon fighting game, though... holy shit would that rake in millions. People would by $300 collectors' editions for that.
  5. That looks more like a jumping LP from some KoF XIII character (I think it was Terry or someone like that, idk)
  6. If your opponent bursts or counter assaults, do the ice wave super (touga hyoujin) on wake-up.
  7. 4B+C > 236236B > dash > (S)214D~C > 6C > dash 5C > j.C x 5 > (dash) 2C > tk j.214B > dash 5C > 2C > tk j.214B > [dash 5C > 2C > 214D~B] x 2 Damage: 4755, Heat Gain: -50+41 Net = -9 Gets more meter back but does 80 less damage. Fine by me. The only really bad thing about this combo is that it gives the opponent 48 meter Also, this works on everyone as-is. The dash 2C is required on Rachel and Makoto. However, this is only off of special-cancelling the backthrow. I can imagine there's a better combo that involves 6B+C > 623D > dash Jayoku > stuff.
  8. I'm the only one who has a hope of being a wizard now.
  9. Putin is right, though, if you just keep thinking about what you did right every time you successfully pull it off, use those habits and eventually you'll perfect it through grinding it out. A good way to get beast-mode at doing the loop is to do the Tager-specific four-loops-dashing combo off of raw (S)214D~C midscreen.
  10. I can't wait for this to blow up. Yo C0R, you need to wear those sexy sunglasses some more. They make you look like a baby-faced Adam Jensen that's obsessed with "E-sports." *thumbs up* In related news, I've made important discoveries: 1. dash 2C after j.C x 5 is completely unnecessary 99% of the time. As long as you delay your 5C after you dash in after 6C, you should be fine. 2. Makoto's hitbox is a bitch. It's even worse than Carl's. Midscreen 5C > 2C > tk j.214B will whiff on her no matter what you do. The only thing that works on her midscreen that involves hirentotsu loops is (otg) 2C > j.C x 5 > dash 2C > tk j.214B
  11. It's not that it's a lame-ass input, it's just that the window you have to do it in is very short and ambiguous.
  12. Read these bits with the stuff in them. I think there's a thing that makes the thing you were having trouble with easier probably: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?12859-Lane-Changin-Chain-Swangin-!-Lane-Changin-Chain-Swangin!-Fedora-Boyz&p=1239866&viewfull=1#post1239866 http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?12859-Lane-Changin-Chain-Swangin-!-Lane-Changin-Chain-Swangin!-Fedora-Boyz&p=1229084&viewfull=1#post1229084 Watch this bit too, it's helpful for those fruit loops you're trying to get. It's in Japanish, and you need one of those silly online profiles, but it's a video so just follow your nose wherever it goes: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm16877566?via=thumb_watch
  13. I wouldn't count on total recklessness here. Best thing to do if you think they want to throw is just watch out for tick throws after 5A/2A, 5B(2), or 6B and then try and tech. Most of the time, if they're good, they'll spend the meter doing drive specials in a combo or they'll do 623D > rapid after 2nd hit > dash 2B/3C/6C > stuff. And personally, I think the best time to burst is during 6C start-up since it's a long-ass move that can only be dash and special cancelled.
  14. tbh, I think Jin is more of a bitch now than he ever was in CS2. He may do a little less damage, but overall I feel like his normals are better (even if j.B got nerfed, from what I hear). I know that 2C trades in Haz's favor against Jin's air normals (read: do not fuck with ~CS2 Jin match-up thread) for most things, save for j.D which, if it trades, leaves both players at relative neutral. If you wait for his 5C during pressure and delay pressing 2C, you should be able to beat any air normal and 6B without having to risk getting fatal countered by Jin's 2C. So, with that being known, plus the fact that Jin's anti-airs and close-range air mobility are better, I feel like it's best not to jump out of his pressure in most situations. Also, I'd say that it's good to stay as close as possible in this match-up. Jin is a bitch to approach, and there's not much he can do other than mash A normals or risk a DP on wake-up (or Yukikaze if he has meter) once you're close to him. Finally, Jin has gotten better at breaking primers thanks to 2D buff, and we still have to watch out for his drive specials that also break primers. As Hazama, it's pretty easy for us to get guard-broken here, so it's just something to keep in mind. Personally, I have a hard time with this match-up, but that's probably because I play against a Jin mod (Yuushiro) all the time. Feels bad, man.
  15. Wait, it resumes this sunday? I thought it was postponed until the next ranbat ;_;
  16. Actually I'm not sure if I can bring anything this time. I'm a bit short on funds. All I need to buy is some vanilla extract and unsweetened cocoa powder. If you guys really want me to bring stuff, just reply, but if you could chip-in/donate for the remaining ingredients, that would be lovely.
  17. Midscreen: (Note: keep in mind this is not a (S)214D~C starter, which causes significantly more damage) Corner: This is why we have a wiki, people, and why people like ZeroRaider, Zeron, KayEff, and myself have all contributed. Also, I should be putting up some of the practical combos from Noze's video as well as a TK-loop tutorial on the wiki later today.
  18. Possibly considering making a TK loop FAQ thread. Please read these posts: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?12859-Lane-Changin-Chain-Swangin-!-Lane-Changin-Chain-Swangin!-Fedora-Boyz&p=1239866&viewfull=1#post1239866 http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?12859-Lane-Changin-Chain-Swangin-!-Lane-Changin-Chain-Swangin!-Fedora-Boyz&p=1229084&viewfull=1#post1229084 This video could help as well (just make a nico nico account if you don't already have one, it's easy): http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm16877566?via=thumb_watch
  19. We've got you covered. Please read these posts: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?12859-Lane-Changin-Chain-Swangin-!-Lane-Changin-Chain-Swangin!-Fedora-Boyz&p=1239866&viewfull=1#post1239866 http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?12859-Lane-Changin-Chain-Swangin-!-Lane-Changin-Chain-Swangin!-Fedora-Boyz&p=1229084&viewfull=1#post1229084
  20. Why? You can actually get a full meterless combo off of it now.

  22. Uhhh, I could make brownies this time. Haven't made those in a while.
