It depends on your airborne height whenever you do hirentotsu. If you're doing it TK or higher up than normal, then yes, the timing is going to be a little different. Generally speaking, you're probably going to want to avoid corner hirentotsu oki and go for 214D~B wallbounce > 3C > whatever whenever possible, unless you've just carried them to the corner during your combo. It all depends on what your opponent is doing, really. If you notice they roll a lot, just mash 2A, imo. If they do neutral tech, you can either keep going or block if you think they'll DP/super. Kid viper posted some pretty good option selects in the Technical Gameplay Discussion thread that you should check out.

Response to: Vordoxen: 2B has ten less recovery frames now. If you don't believe me, just hop into a game real quick and just start mashing 2B. Hazama will look like he's break-dancing. This basically means that it's slightly more viable as a poke now because it's much less whiff-punishable.

Sometimes you need to buffer the dash during 236D. Depends on your set-up (TV/monitor), but that usually is the case. Also, make sure to press the C button as soon as possible, because all you need is for that first knife to connect fast enough. -

@Dreizehn: Just keep looking for your landing after j.C x 5. You have to do 662C rather quickly, to the point where it almost feels like it's almost one motion. Otherwise it won't come out fast enough. To practice just a quick dashing 2C, you can try stuff that requires somewhat strict timing like 214D~C > 6C > dash 2C or (corner) > 3C > 236D > dash 2C (I think this works, have to check). As for Makoto, her aerial hitbox is your worst enemy, arguably even worse than Carl's. You'll likely just have to settle for less-optimal midscreen combos on her. @wuku: We have discussed it officially. In fact, there's an entire thread dedicated to the TK loop as many people before have inquired about it. -

Delaying 2C helps a lot. The more you can delay 2C, the more time you'll have when doing 5C OTG. Another way to get good at doing immediate dashing 5C is to just do immediate dashing 6C, then adjust the motion to where you hit C after the second directional input (i.e., learning how to get the dash to come out first, then learning how to execute the dashing 5C without getting dashing 6C). -

Response to: Vordoxen 6B is still a good mix-up tool and don't forget it. Unless you use 6A just equally as less. This actually goes back to how good 5B is, as Guymam mentioned. You have constant access to decide whether you want to hit them with an overhead or standing low. Honestly, unless your opponent is really scared and heavily focused on turtling, then going for mix-ups (especially safe on block ones) is a better option than focusing on breaking primers. If you're worried about getting counter hit during 6B's start-up, gauge your opponent first. See if they actually respect your pressure and also keep in mind if they have access to a dp or reversal super. Also, don't forget that 6B is an excellent starter into Houtenjin.

Yeah, and in a way, it's somewhat of a proper ender since Hirentotsu itself is designed to give you decent knockdown and oki options. But six is decidedly the maximum that you can do with a proper 5C > 2C > 214D~B > 3C ender, right?
