  1. Are you particular as to how the OP looks in terms of formatting or uniformity? Or would you rather it just be a conversation with an updated OP? I would also be restrictive on what counts as "information" if I were you, lest we tread into the dreaded land of theory-fighting (though I have been guilty of this myself already). I agree though, there's a lot of potential match-up specific stuff with Azrael, especially considering his move/tool set.

HOS 5H is throw invuln now on start-up and low invuln 11-22f, 6P staggers on ground hit, Lvl 2 Rock-it gives knockdown no matter what (air hit or ground hit), and Lvl 2 BRP has longer untechable time so you can continue a combo sometimes. Losing Lvl 2 rock-it combos isn't bad, imo, he barely got any damage off that shit anyway. Sure, it made for an easy confirm, but the damage wasn't that great unless you hit with a good starter. I think, if anything, HOS is better now. Also, holy shit anime avatars O_O
  3. Slayer 6P doesn't beat a lot of attacks but that move is still fucking broken, and Azrael's 6A has a conspicuously similar animation + properties. It can definitely be used as an anti-air, just situationally.

  8. I get why they use the overheads, they have huge reach and they're plus on block, but 2D and 3D are faster. Plus 3D is one of the most ambiguous lows I've seen in BB. But people are getting conditioned to block overheads when playing against him, so using lows could be much more powerful to people who know a lot about Azrael.

  10. I imagine SentDump is probably used to stagger and reset a blockstring. Jin's 6D is pretty slow, but it's like +64 or some ridiculous shit like that, and I still see people block it. As for Hornet Bunker it might be crazy anti-air for all we know (I mean, it does have super-armor like valiant). It looks very similar to 2C, probably with slower start-up. You just never see it because Azrael's never bother applying lower weakness, etc etc see my last post about this.
  11. (off the top of my head) Doesn't it say on those shitty Chinese zodiacs that monkeys don't get along well with snakes? W/e jbbs has a shitty sense of humour. There must be something more iconic that isn't so... dumb. First thing that comes to mind is Nadeko Snake part of Bakemonogatari. Perhaps something that plays off that?

  13. Uhhh, okay I guess I should be more clear. You only get the kick-ass superdash/superjump effect if the weakpoint is already applied. If there are no weakpoints, then those moves will apply a weakpoint, Valiant of course applying upper and Hornet applying lower. I don't know exactly what properties they have on-hit without a weakpoint, but there's definitely no follow-up combo to Valiant without a weakpoint. I'm not sure if Hornet launches without a weakpoint or not, or if you can even combo off it after that.
  14. "Gomikuzu ga!" just means "garbage." Valiant lets you do a special forward dash in which you can freestyle chain normals. Hornet is the same thing but vertical, akin to the homing jump after a Dust in GG.
  15. I don't think this has ever happened in the history of ASW games (though please correct me if I'm wrong). At least as far as BB goes, they've only patched it (balance-wise) as per arcade conditions.

  17. You know, this wouldn't be so bad if they didn't make flash kick work the way it does now. I.e., giving him midscreen meterless damage off of non-CH/214D~C/Throw starters. Also, for Arakune and Amane being B and C tier, they still seem like pretty viable characters. At least I think they will definitely see play in America. Is it bad I kind of want to play Mu because the new Sword of Doom is orgasmic?

  22. No, because Az players are too busy doing overheads that can be mashed out against or thrown. I have yet to see any Azrael do a combo off of 2D/5D stagger, mainly because they never throw those moves out ever. 3D pretty gdlk imo cos it's faster than 6D, looks like 6D, and ground-bounces on CH (which will happen ??% of the time because the opponent is mashing thinking that it's 6D).
  23. Are you saying that the board game Candy Land has an iM@S version? Fuck, I don't even like that game and now I want to play it. We will become idols when we have a producer. Well, I do have brown hair, glasses, and I'm 19 years old, so I'm basically Ritsuko. Now I just need to decide who will be my Ryuuguu Komachi.........
