ALOHA CORE!!! Hawaii's air-dashing scene.
Big Red Tie replied to BearsWithKnives's topic in West Coast
i'm in hawaii! i don't play guilty gear though because the xbox arcade version isn't AC on oahu on 360 playing BB -
you need a bnb and corner loop and then need to learn which moves connect in different states bnb: 2B > 3C > 2B > 5C > 6C > 5D> (63214C or j.C j.2C or whatever is on the front page who cares) corner loop: 3C > [2B> 6A > 2C > JC > j.C j.2C > land ] x 2 > 2B > 6A > 2C > j.C j.C > stein/oki/bullshit on the different states bit: stuff like CH/FCH/j.x and how you can connect it into a bnb of some kind. can do (p basic) midscreen: CH 5C > 6C > 214D (stein must be in range) > 66B > 6A > 2C > j.C > j.C j.2C or: j.B/j.C > bnb 6B > 6A is important to know that it connects when you hit them in the air w/ the 6B (and learning the timing) 214D > 6B need to know timing to land 2 hits or at least the last one 6C to xD >JC/214D/sword need to know (2B/5B/5C/2C/6A/etc.) > 3C > 2B need to know j.2C > 2B is need to know (under two situations, dash 2B and land 2B) also i GUESS you could learn 6C FC combo but it's not as important since it doesn't happen terribly often and also you can sort of ghetto out a FC combo if you're near the corner just by corner looping

why yes i did ask i was using 5D 4D j.D falling j.D x N also they should give mu 632146A as a normal super in CS2 because i love it whoa now hey now whoa now
-
she can cancel it into any special i think (block or hit too) so, the slash move, her DP, her super reversal, etc.
-
also to add to my previous comment: canceling stein into 236A after knockdown gives some good setup time
-
idk if this is known, but RCing mizuchi at certain points fucks up the graphic and makes it keep going. you can get either swirly blue stuff or a huge black cloud with red energy flying out of him forever
-
her j.B and j.2C are actually quite good, and she can also dp you midair they don't beat jin's j.C in terms of range, but that's all
-
i didn't say anything contrary to this. why are you repeating it? edit: and if anyone wasn't paying attention, i wasn't even talking about 214DA. so.
-
also 236A is kind of nice in this matchup so also lol tempest dahlia is mad on the internet woop
-
for chains not 214DA jesus
-
on block, yes? you're not supposed to block it. pay attention.
-
i just had her 5B clash with 623C i... hm
-
you can get one out and not have to block iirc
-
and there are no similarities at all between the two moves also the time it takes him to get in range + startup and travel time means you can set at least one stein, or he can guess wrong and you can set multiple
-
214DA = gauntlet hades yeah the notation is shorter whatever also there are two situations, one of which i already posted and the other, others posted. either you're out of range of snake or knocked him down/pressured
-
no one ever said put out steins and you win you put out steins then you have to hit him also apparently chains + followup are instant and he can gauntlet hades you over and over and that's unblockable and safe
-
seriously watch your primers and make sure to take every opportunity to preserve them i believe you can charge through charge lasers/63214C if you can time it right/they don't mixup the timing or rush in
-
you finish setting steins in air you fall, tager starts sparkbolt, gets hit by charge laser you win match unless he moved forward with sledge, in which case you should stop setting steins and try jumping out or landing with j.B
-
only if it hits them uhoh jump lasers or 6 lasers tager has the same problem
-
mu will try 6D and j.6D if you're blocking/cutting well since it goes behind you i believe they're slower than like 5D, so it would be a good time to IAD at them
-
chain doesn't go across the entire screen.
-
hazama will need to keep pressure on you otherwise steins -> hazama has no options if you pressure well hazama is not incredible at extended pressure. yeah, mixups and crossups, but nothing especially extended. not bang extended
-
only relevant thing so far because 236D is literally all of mu's oki
-
how does hazama handle steins out of snake range? how does he pressure you like at all to stop you from controlling the match?
-
...unless you place one there on purpose? there's block stun if you place like 2 more steins i don't even
