  1. One of the things that's really pissing me off is this 2C>3D change. When it was 2C>4D, I never fucked up any ACs. Now with the gatling being 3C, more often than not I won't be able to get the AC off, which kills a lot of my combos. What the hell... Not to mention, you can't delay 3C like you could 4D and fish for a free CH, both because it's quicker and safer on block. The new forward throw is God-awful too. It's ONLY chainable while the opponent is magnetised, and with a well-timed AC, which is rather bad considering that 3C took input-advantage over everything else.. The back throw is unbelievably awesome, but that forward throw...ugh. Makes Karas almost useless now. And for the love of God, don't get me started on no more 6A jump cancel...can't really do shit against players who refuse to tech anymore, just waiting for the wear off or the DP after GF.
  2. Ender 2D > AC (whiff) > 2D could be something to touch up on. the AC whiff to pull back quick techs and the second 2D to pull them back if they don't.
  3. Dunno if anyone's noticed this yet, but with a back throw, you can walk and 2B > 2C > AC xx. Haven't tested it thoroughly (only done it on Plat and Jin so far), but I believe it'll work on everyone (possibly not Arakune).

  5. It's still more mindgames mixup. Rather redundant, really. GF whiff to 360B or GF whiff to AC, or should he not immediately tech it'd then go right to GF 360B or GF AC

I don't know if this has been brought up, but...considering the difficulties with Arakune's hitbox and Gadget...the other day I played a guy and managed to land a few mag'd 360As on him.....and for some reason I GF'd thinking it would connect, which it didn't...as the usual option, seeing as forward and back tech would have gotten caught, he neutral teched while drifitng towards me just a little bit. I then 360B'd during the GF recovery and caught him with it Only tapped the GF so it stayed about 1 or 2 frames. ....And then I proceeded to do this 5 more times afterwards, and they all connected flawlessly with two of them being counter grabs. Anyone got more on this? I know there's something about frame data there...
  7. Another Lambchops matchup. Wondering if I'm approaching this properly yet. Almost the longest 2-round match I've ever played with a time up and another barely. vs Λ-11 Pretty much every non-counter hit I took in the first round was due to my controller not properly discerning 2s from 1s... I wish there was a way to adjust the deadzone on the stick. :/ Also, starting to get the hang of standing 360s, so that makes me happy. Just gotta figure out how walking 720s feel.. ....And just for unrelated hype on the system changes to guarding and primers and junk....how much more common will bullshit like this end up happening from the increased potential of guard breaking? >_>

  9. More criticism for me, please. vs Noel - I almost got perfected in the first round.. vs Ragna ... twice - For some reason, I can't predict his stuff besides ID. His overhead is too confusing to look at. Mirror match vs Lambchops - Yeah, being guard broken is kind of...well, jarring for me. I mean, come on. 10 primers? Doesn't happen often..

  17. That's not what I asked. Look at the video again, Jin double-bursted down to 1-primer and Platinum used the hammer smash item which breaks 2. I'm asking if Jin would have barriered there, would he have still gotten guard crushed, or would have he gone into Danger state, or would it just count as 1-primer break (50% barrier)?

  19. Honestly, considering the videos, it seems that people only use the bombs and missiles for spam zoning, wanting to get straight to the frying pan spike and the 2-primer crushing mallet. Though, that makes me wonder. With a full barrier gauge, does a 2-primer break on the last primer do auto-guard break, or does it just instant-Danger state? (assuming 50% barrier blocking 1 guard primer smash)

  23. You think it could be possible to chase the throw with a super jump and possibly j.C>j.B>j.C into ground combo with it? Kinda hard to tell just by looking at it once, plus the AC affecting the trajectory immediately after.
