AirGrab>j.2D>xx>AC>xx>Gadget seems to do more, though. Like, over 3.5k.
-
It's the Engrish Taokaka one. Y'know, Saito Chiwa type A you can buy on the marketplace? Hell, even Type B would have been better if you ask me... Also, is it my imagination or did like...almost everyone's BnB get nerfed for damage somewhat?
-
Though the 5C has more hitstun than the 6A, which they'll be able to see me holding and react accordingly. EDIT: Also, seeing as I just downloaded 1.02 (and bought Valkenhayn who I'll start playing as until 2.0 when all of Tager's changes are applied), it seems the projectile guard thingie has already been applied to his Hammer. I've blocked 5 projectiles in a single match in the middle of Hammer, so...
-
But 2H knocks them up, and with these changes being stated the AC would have to be delayed 'til they came down.
-
CRAP. There goes my mid-combo Spark>5C>6A>AC hold trap...
-
You do realize that was a joke, right? Implying that Tager'd only move up 1 spot on the list.
-
Um, what does SRK stand for? Autism sucks for acronyms.
-
Only troll-like in Unlimited where you can gadget form anywhere. Otherwise, so many times I've comboed to MTW>TB only to have them NOT die with their health bar depleted. Obviously you'd go for 2D>AC just to do like 3 damage. Now, we get the KO with a Gadget! By the way, does this mean Tager moves up to lower-mid instead of being upper-lower tier?
-
lol, Axis is black too? Awesome! ....And strangely looks a lot like me. D: God, I need to get to a tourney...Nothing in Pittsburgh?
-
So, fellow Tager players...how annoying is μ-12 again? This annoying. And yes, I know that as an incredibly unsafe MTW at the end. I was planning on bursting, but...well, lol6C EDIT: Right, forgot to mention that the Unlimited combo video made my day. Just awesome. <3
-
So, when does the stream happen anymore? Wasn't there on Tuesday.
-
Man, I wish I could attend a touney... but I'm over here in Pittsburgh and poor with no transportation... Sigh. Anyways, some more online replays stuff with my cheapo camera. >_> Tager v Tager Tager v Ragna Bang v Tager Tager v Ragna again. Lol, Double Down Tager v Tsubaki lol Double Down again. Even more funny, this is the ~very next match~ after Ragna. Tager v Unlimited Litchi Hazama v Tager Tager v Arakune God, the bees.... THE BEEEEEES!!! 100+ RED BEAT 10K COMBO NOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I think the only thing bugging me anymore is...I can never play a consistant game. One day, I'm snatching everything out of the air, never missing a beat. The next day, I'm dropping ACs and screwing up the timing on Terra Breaks and can't get my tech traps down. Next day I have a completely different gameplan from two days ago... Hell, all last week, I forgot that 6A can cancel into 2C. And for some reason, I would still try to do it but use 2B instead and get pissed because I couldn't remember that's not what it really was. Maybe I need a joystick or something. 623/421 doesn't like to come out well on the 360's stick... It's the corners (which work wonders on the GCN's octagon stick borders). There's no way to adjust the deadzone to my preferences and I hate it.

Jay claims he's not streaming because you're not there.
-
Hey, I'll pop up at any stream that I can be a part of. I have friends that like to watch, too (though with Jay's stream, being 4-6PM EST on Tuesdays, almost nobody could watch because of school on the other coast and work schedules and family stuff). Plus, it's the only way I can get screen cap videos of any gameplay I do (which is a shame, because I play so many different kinds of games...) Go for it, I show support.
-
I started out with Taokaka because she was the quickest character in the game and I tend to go for speedy characters because they can usually make openings a bit easier than the rest (That, and I'm a furry, so it was a slight appeal of lolfurry and omgcute), but once CS rolled around and most of her moves went to reaction-based things, such as jump C being more noticeably active on button release and the increase of inputs and longer combos....well, I moved onto Tager because he went from almost nothing to a small BnB that has some delay between loops which helps a bit. Plus, with me struggling with Autism, it makes the learning a bit easier. And then there's the many variants of gimmicks, and the options that follow after each. I mean, take a look at Mike Z. It's like every tournament, he busts out something new that catches people off-guard and wow, since all the other characters are more straight-forward techniques and hard-coded combos. Plus, I like the concept of punishing other players for the mistakes they've made, or walking into traps.
-
Just a late THANK YOU, MIKE Z. I swear to God, the Sparkbolt 5C 6A j.BC works wonders on those that refuse to tech. I've caught SO many people with that now, just to elbow drop and go into the cycle again for that damage reset. Thank you ~so~ much. It's helping my damage output greatly.

I see... Though, wouldn't 6A > AC be better than 5C > AC? For the magnetism and the pull on contact that is. As for the taunts? I was being cocky 'cause it was the end of the stream and they had already watched me as well as fought with me before, so I was doing some mind games there. Totally pointless and just asking to get punished, I know, but still. Yeah, I've been pushing further and further away from Gadget for some reason, opting to try and catch people with the 2D > AC whiff > 360 gimmick. I've actually been trying to turn that into a 2D > AC whiff > AC > xx for a change-up, but it's a tad difficult. I mean, I am playing with Autism here, habitual muscle memory heyhey? >_> I don't like the wake-ups since I'm not quite comfortable with what I have coming despite the frame advantage. Too many invincible-frame moves upon recovery totally nailing me. Inferno Divider... *shudders* Yeah, if you noticed that the two I did this on, They tend to autopilot tech-mash away, in the air or on the ground. Basically just reading into what I know they're gonna do then. Even if it's totally unnecessary. Alternatively, the jin/ragna would NEVER tech as long as I had a loop on him, just because of the whole proration thing on AC and such. What do I do in those situations? -Thank you, I wanted to wait a while before I asked again, to let some things sink in and evolve on their own in my messed up little head. -I had played that Litchi three times prior, and EVERY SINGLE NEUTRAL STANCE they'd spam that staff kick and any projectile-staff moves, so I intended to spam Bsledge there, just to say "Stop #$%^ing fishing for zoned CH" and such. -I'm...not too well with thinking on the fly, sadly. :/ I gotta find someone to help drill enders into my head. -Well, when do you need tech traps? That seems kind of cryptic, if you could clarify please. -Heh, funny thing is, Ike thinks he's all that, really. And even tends to trash talk about the people giving me advice in this forum. Even funnier, the person who runs the stream (which will actually be up in about half an hour (4-6PM EST) at http://www.justin.tv/peacefuljay) calls these people "pros" and only invites them when he disbands the room and does 5-P.slot to only invite these specific peoples.
-
Yeah, I'm back again. I've grown and such, obvious to those that have been watching the stream. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34H_X8t99sI <- vs Ragna http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsQX8rBMP8s <- vs Makoto, Jin, Hakumen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXe4SnPMzN4 <- vs Litchi ...Where do I go from here? More criticisms for me, please.
-
I asked quite early in the stream too. and if that's the way it is, then what's the philosophy of 500+ people watching the stream that want to play? Surely that can't be sorted out by hand exclusively.
-
Was gonna try to get a few general game communities interested but...eh. A lot of people see the game and go "This looks too hard" because it only shows people doing the 4k+ combos constantly, so it's really a browser killer this way. I mean he could at least do Type C - Random to make things more open. That way one person isn't hogging all the attention and makes the game look newbie friendly.
-
He only does closed lobbies and only invites a few select people. What's the point of even going then?
-
I would but I'm not invited.
-
I'm here. And I plan to be here every week too. I got nothing better to do, and friends who like watching me play online... :<
-
Heh, reminds me of most fighting games title-screen demo fights. ...Why isn't there any for BB? D:

Teehee, I pulled it off in a match finally. :3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olVKfm9K2TA#t=02m23s See how that works so well? :P
