  2. The only character who can really reliably backdash Tsu's 22D stuffs (easily anyways) is Tager. He can quick tech and then mash backdash the second he recovers. Mu's backstep is good but the timing on it is SUPER tight. Luna and I tested different ways of escaping it and Mu's backdash is real hard to use reliably to get out of it of you're in the corner. If you're gonna do something DP is easier and better. But yeah, the easiest braindead option would indeed be to just not tech, but then Tsubaki gets to mix you up again afterwards... and in the corner is the worst place for Mu to be. I think the best option (maybe not the safest or easiest) is to DP it, because it gets her off of you, sends her away and resets neutral, and gets Mu out of the corner. As Mu, if you have an option to get her off I see no reason you shouldn't if you can.

  4. I think it's the fact that it hints at "why are you even bothering" which does indeed bring down people's efforts. I know barely anyone checks this place, it's just there for the off chance that someone does. We're just trying to get our scene going, so having information available in any place that people in our area may look is helpful.

  6. Difficulty is totally subjective. For example Mu's combos and setups are natural for me. Her corner 6C fatal is something I can do 9 out of 10 times. I know it's not easy, but I feel comfortable with the way you execute things with her so it feels easy to me. However, I'm TOTALLY uncomfortable with rushdown characters like Makoto or Noel, and can't wrap my brain around them. Also, even though I know Ragna is supposed to be easy, I find his execution strange/hard....but not because it really IS hard but because it's out of my comfort zone. ...hopefully that made some sense lol. But to me it's exactly this reason that you should always play the character you feel comfortable with and that you enjoy, and not pick someome just because you think they will be easy, or to avoid someone because you think they're too hard.

I should have known the second I saw her that I'd main her. ;w; When that first clip of her was released I told myself I would play her for SURE then actually got CS and got intimidated by the weird drive and stuck with what I knew with Lambda. I was so wrong to have ever done that. I want her to stay underplayed, I like it that way. Although I don't personally think people not knowing the matchup is a "strength", it really has nothing to do with her own abilities. But it is a nice plus. :3
  10. Dat pole. How do you set stuff up against her? It feels real hard to zone her.
  11. Yeah Tager is a generally good matchup, but can potentially turn into a bad matchup if you get magnetized and lose momentum. I find it's easy to get to over-confident versus him and end up eating busters for it. ^^; (Read: I do this all the damn time. orz) But yeah, I'm definitely going next year. And you better make sure be there too this time. :3

  13. Hanaya/lolkidding... Konan is my favorite JP Tsu to watch at least. (I don't actually play Tsu so someone correct me if I'm wrong.)

  16. You don't have to be an amazingly good player to know how stuff works. It's truth that Mu can DP out...and yeah there are ways around it. But again, theres no real need to list absolutely every possible given situation to try and figure out if this ONE THING is a good idea or not. Fact: Mu can DP out of Tsu's 6A unblockable. The main point is NOT that it's "100% safe and foolproof" but that it's an option. And a good one at that.

  20. I would absolutely never go back to CS1. Lunar switched it to CS1 earlier today to mess with Litchi's old Itsuu cancels and I decided to give CS1 Mu a whirl too. I realized I've been absolutely spoiled by the faster steins and the bigger reach on 2B. xD
  21. It's character specific really. Depends on who you're fighting and who you're using. A lot of characters have different options against things. I dunno what Carl's options are, so some semi-universal tatics: Super jump > barrier/airdash etc over stuff works sometimes if you're careful, if you're knocked down sometimes tech-rolling out of the corner works (provided you're fighting someone who doesn't normally punish forward techrolls.) You can use barrier for pushblock, to get them out of range faster...counter assault if you have meter.

  23. Untechable 3C would bring definitely bring back meterless midscreen damage...it would also bring back the vortex though, but then again it's not like that was ever broken. Huh...would untechable 3C for Mu break her with all the other changes given..hrm. >>; We'd probably have to sacrifice it being JC'able though.
  24. Oh, another note on this matchup. Origins > Tsubaki 6A, 22D unblockable setup. Just neutral tech and DP as soon as you're able to and it'll beat it out and get her off you.
