Oki oki oki and more oki. Second choice is secret tech though, Sir Doom. But I really like the idea of it not so much being a "this is what to do" as it is a "Okay this is how you create" which is my favorite aspect of this character. :D So much versatility. I can't wait to see whatever you've got and see what I can do with it too. Mu's so neat in the fact that it seems like everyone who plays her can play her differently. Theres no one right answer, unlike other characters who are very linear and boring.

Tao doesn't technically have mixups...crossups and long-ass pressure strings but no mixup. It's flashy and fast but not scary imo. Barrier blocking against her is pretty good cause it pushes her out of range. The only thing I find difficult about fighting Tao is finding time to set stuff up, but once you do she's not so bad, since she can't fly all over when you have lasers out.

Meterless air throw combos....*goes to experiment* And Tager can be difficult...he's not free unless you can avoid getting magnetized the entire match. :3 Plus if it's a good Tager player it'll be even harder. And Haku isn't godawful but it's a little on the boring side...

Oh I don't care if he ends up with low health, course I'd still play him...doesn't mean I like it though. xP Eh I've hopes it'll be better and more balanced than vanilla was...cause I actually did enjoy playing, but it kinda felt like a clusterfuck of shit flying around the screen and easy to confirm touch-of-death combos everywhere... Scaling needs to be better. Or I'm hoping it's better. Even if I loved Wesker, I knew he dished out a lot of BS...same with a lot of the cast though.

You see thats what I noticed too which is why I wasn't sure if it was a good or bad matchup. When I win I win but when I lose I get BODIED. It does feel momentum based...whoever gets the first knockdown is gonna have an easier time. I don't feel qualified to talk about matchups...however it feels really close. It does feel like either character can take it at any time, and I fight this matchup frequently...

This game is a "not sure if want" for me. First one left a bad taste so I'm still on the fence...even if Ghost Rider looks awesome. Plus I heard Wesker got a rather nasty health nerf. That right there is just icky news to me man. I'll probably wait until it's out and see what people say about it. heres hoping it's not still stupid. (inb4 it's even more broken than before)

I wanted to like this game, I really did...I used to have loads of fun mashing on the older versions of it lol. Though after learning BB/AH3 this game just no longer appeals to me. Which is sad cause I love Sektor to be quite honest. The demo really put me off it...

This matchup...I can't tell if it's good or bad but it seems like she has an answer to a lot of our shit. She runs right past explosions, and it feels like she doesn't have to respect Totsuka or Habaya all that much either...well timed 214x can cut through a lot of Mu's stuff it feels like. Plus a lot of her midscreen BnB knockdown stuff will toss you full screen and she'll be on you in a second... I honestly think my wins these days are coming from getting away with things I shouldn't be getting away with versus her...

VERY nice combos. :o Question though. In the midscreen CH 2C one is the whiffed 5C just a timing thing or is it required? I find I can do it fine without the whiffed 5C but if theres a reason for it I'd like to know. :3

Don't want people coming in here just to hate on the ponies. But I'm pretty excited about this game actually, with all the types of ponies theres just a lot of possibilities for playstyles. I want Fluttershy to be a trap character with animal summons. :3

I've been able to successfully throw-counter her out of 6A on reaction every time, which is reason she doesn't use it against me. Is there a way for Tsubaki to make that safe for uses in blockstrings? I figured she could possibly somehow bait the throw/dp or something. -

Anyways things to ignore: Occasional RC > goldburst bs throughout. ^^;; Thats me being stupid trying to cancel into a D stein for lulz and getting too hyped while chatting with Lunar and mashing it out. Things I'm aware of...DP bait...I sit there yelling at Lunar "OH GOD YOU BAITED ME, I knew you were going to but I still did it whhhhy?!" I'm getting better about it though. Also my pressure is a bit weak. I keep falling into patterns and am working away from doing so. Also I can't for the life of me ever Hit confirm 5C > 6C > RC on crouchers even when I actually think to myself "Huh I should RC this..." then just end up going for stein oki. :X A bit of autopilot, both from me doing sorta meh and from Lunar and I being somewhat derpy in general that evening. You know how sisters can be. -
Under the cover of lasers/explosions, or run in with Habaya. Basically only run in if they're blocking. You don't wanna approach without coverage. She's a zoner/spacing character, make them come to you.

Abuuuse your mobility, fast characters can give Mu a really hard time. Don't let her get away with setting up more than one stein at a time unless you're knocked down, you're FAST and can get on on her in a split second. I find allowing Mu to come to you can sometimes work as well, but mostly you wanna stay on dat ass and stop her from getting out steins as frequently as possible. A Mu without steins is a scared Mu. Oh, I also don't suggest the 236x series except for maybe the D version if you condition it. It's easy for Mu to poke her out of that. I've even managed to explode a stein on reaction to the dashes if see it coming. 214x series is better when grounded. Don't approach from the air, Mu's anti-air options are good. Don't even think about using any of Tsubaki's air specials to approach. I can't count the amount of times I 2C'd those on reaction, particularly her j.214x series. Also don't charge in the air except after an air combo into knockdown. Mu will jump and try to throw you out of it. Or if she's not close enough for a throw she might j.C CH you. You can run right past her explosions if you're within a decent range. If you see any hint of a Mu going for a blank explosion and you're about half screen you can run up and pressure her for free, or a CH if you're close enough to get there before the CH state ends. Don't let her get away with blank explosions, cause If I ever try to do that Lunar runs in and punches me in the face for it lol. Also, bait her DP all day. I find even If you clash with her DP you will win and free CH for you. Don't get greedy trying to build up stock either. If you're not a decent distance away from her or Mu isn't knocked down it's asking for 6C/Dash 6C FC to the face, dat shit hurts. I feel this matchup is pretty even honestly. Only depends on who catches who first. If you can stop Mu from getting those Steins out she'll have a much harder time keeping you away. Once you knock her down she'll have a hard time regaining momentum. /wall of text. Long writeup, I've played this matchup countless times now. xD
