This, seriously. The second I remembered Habaya was no longer crap is the second I stopped losing with CS2 Mu so much. It REALLY keeps people from rushing in so hastily. It's pretty much a good all-around anti-rush tool and makes your opp respect your space a lot more. At least, thats what I've found. Like Cor says, I very much believe she still has her setups, they're probably just very different from CS1 setups and people just haven't found them yet. Heres hoping Cor breaks the shit out of her lol. xD Don't give up hope guys, stick it out. We already lost Pulsr and Tempest (no hard feelings guys. :3) but we can get through this. The patch has only been out a short time and she's technically a totally "new" character now. It'll take awhile to find her full potential. ^^

I will be awaiting this video eagerly Cor. I have hope you'll awaken the true power of our beloved Kusanagi. :3

Yeah, her gameplan isn't QUITE as complex as it was before. It's a lot easier to understand and she's not so much about oki now but instead more spacing. (imo at least) I was losing hardcore with her when CS2 came out the first day, but mostly cause I was over complicating her. She's still very fun to me though, but no, she is not like CS1 Mu anymore. Someone else can probably explain better than me though.

Any and all general tips for this matchup would be really great..just, absolutely anything anyone who's got more experience with CS2 can give me. I absolutely can't seem to win against him no matter what I try. It used to be such a fun matchup to me, but now I'm getting destroyed over and over. :[ It's frustrating. Edit: ...although I have found Habaya to be an incredibly useful anti-Jin tool, although this is just from the matches I've played today.

If they're popping up too high you're probably not hitting 5C fast enough. If you do it too slow they have more time to go up in between the hits. If you do it fast they don't pop up as much even after all 8 hits. Or at least, thats what I thought.

YES. Everything feels so much smoother now. Also, dat SoD corner bound....=3=; I love everything about this. I feel late to the party, but it was so worth the wait.

Oh dear goodness. Just got the patch and I can actually see what everyone was saying now. The faster steins are so much hype. I didn't even practice her new combos yet but you can SERIOUSLY feel their speed now...I'm so excited. >3< She just feels so much faster overall, it's so great. =D

Oh this is just beautiful, I can't wait for the patch to show for US PSN. (Btw congrats on making mod Cor, although you've probably already heard it from everyone else. xD)

This statement made me very happy indeed, and even more impatient for the CS2 patch to be out on US PS3s. So the vortex setup is still totally viable?

I actually didn't like her originally either. I think Mu is really one of those characters thats easy to get a bad first impression with. I originally used to play Tao and Lambda. Eventually Lambda moved up to main status and I dropped Tao completely. Originally to me Mu was just a slower clunkier version of Nu/Lamb when I first started messing around in training after unlocking her. But then I actually learned how to play her properly and dropped Lambda as my main pretty quickly. I realized I liked not having to mash D and C like a madwoman, and enjoyed using my brain when playing.

This so much. I'm definirely gonna mess with Plat when she comes out, but Mu is my absolute favorite. I never realized how much I could enjoy this game until I played Mu to be honest. I haven't found another character I enjoy playing more than her. So yeah, I'm definitely also going to continue to main her in CS2. She was definitely never a stand in for me. Once I tried her there was no going back. <3

I do 19 or 29 real fast. Theres no real trick other than that. Just practice, it was hard for me too at first but I got used to it with some practicing. The 2369 and 2147 thing is a REALLY bad suggestion, as excelence said, since theres quite a few characters who have air specials that use j.214x and j.236x. You'll just get TK'd versions of those moves.

I'm guessing he doesn't agree that Mu's theme is just okay or that her stage is boring. Even though the theme is definitely not super amazing, and the stage is indeed one of the most boring in the game. <<

I'm very partial to her white/blue/grey one...um, default 8 or 9, I don't remember exactly which. Though I like the sky blue one as well. Thats my second favorite one actually. n_n Mu looks like she's ready to go to a rave in that one. Girl is bringin' the light show after all~
