  1. Actually, I sample colors for my gradients directly from the sprites myself...however I very frequently add extra colors and tones to darken or lighten certain areas that don't look quite right.
  2. Awe Tong. <3 I'm just busy. Even if I'm not posting I lurk and check up on things when I can.
  3. ...I think yayifications is my new favorite word.
  4. I got Bang covered. Already had a template. Woo. I believe this is the right one.
  5. You got permission to use anything I have or will post here dude. ^^
  6. Glad you like, and no I don't mind at all. I know how you feel, Mu's my favorite character too. ^^
  7. Here we go. Mu template thinger since everyone has been asking for it.... This one took forever...cause it has both paths and layers. The reason being is some of the paths have weird errors in them that screws it all up when you try to convert it to a selection in some areas...I just dunno how to fix that. I'm personally pretty handy with the select tool, so I'm good at fixing those by hand....but for others I figured it'd be a pain. Instead of just re-doing all my paths hoping for no errors I made a layers version of this template. It's all neat and tidy...though it still may not be perfect. I hope it makes sense. Hope you guys like.
  8. Mu's is wonky to work with atm. xD I need to clean it up before I post it. Theres a troubling error with some of my paths so I'll probably do a layers version of it before I submit it.
  9. She has definitely become more solid then she was previously, and thats pretty awesome. Not having any truly bad matchups is definitely a step up. That alone to me is more than enough even if she doesn't make it to high tier.
  10. Wow that was pretty nice actually. :3 The more I see of this the more excited I am for CS2 Mu~
  11. All right. Heres my version of Mr. Kisaragi. In this PSD I have one CT color that was requested, all of his CS defaults and 4 of his DLC colors. This was in progress though, so as you can see theres a bunch of un-edited copies of the portrait in the DLC folder. xD Those were gonna be the rest of the DLC palettes when I had the time...it also has all my paths as well so, go nuts.. Clicky clicky.
  12. If you plan to do his DLC ones...then awesome. 8D I did all his defaults already thats why...speaking of which I should go get them up for download. >> I did some of his DLC ones too. the Ky one up to the white/red scheme everyone has I think... So yeah everything after that I hadn't done yet. Real life got in the way. Also, Murki...nice work on the Noel chart. :3 I'm glad my template was able to be understood.
  13. Oops, fixed. Should work now.
  14. Yeah, Mu was such a pain, but I love her character and her play style lots so totally worth it. n_n And i'm glad you understand my PSD. xD Most of them weren't created with the idea that I'd be sharing them, so organization wasn't a real goal. I mostly just labeled stuff in a way that I'd understand. xD;
  15. Sorry it took so long. Been pretty busy lately. Heres Dizzy Mu: Clicky to get full resolution~ And yes I do have a Noel template, but it's all messy and not very easy to use at the moment. I was planning on re-doing it if I ever find the time.
  16. Rockin Cathy art dude. Love that girl. :3
  17. I was gonna do the Dizzy color, but you can feel free to continue working on yours. I'm not very far on my Mu template yet, I was busy and didn't get very far on it today. Hers is so complicated so I'm still laying out my paths. XD;
  18. To avoid over-painting with the paths method, all you have to do is go around the stuff you don't want colored in the same path. Like, after you go around all of his jacket you'd go around the buckles (the outside and the inside) and the buttons and they won't be included in the selection and theres no need for any erasing.
  19. I am working on the Mu template. Although she's definitely a complicated one, what with the Murakumo in the background and all. It should be don soon enough though. :3 Since she's my main I wanna finish this not just for others but me too. xD
  20. The 4th screenshot in my tutorial is how you stop the pen tool from going all wonky. Basically you hold down the alt key (pc) or the option key (Mac) and click on the last point you made. It makes it so your next path will be a straight line that you can manipulate easier then the weird curvy things it does by default. But otherwise it looks like you're doing a good job for your first shot.
  21. Click it to download full resolution. Yep. It's exactly the same method. It'll work with almost any image really.
  22. So long as your version of PS has the pen tool and gradient maps...it should work pretty much the same. ^^
  23. Thanks, glad you like it. I've got around 6 years of messing with this program, most of what I know I found out about just by playing with it. I do a lot of digital paintings/drawings and whatnot, so that really helps when it comes to doing more simple stuff like edits. That stuff comes much easier than doing stuff from scratch haha.
  24. DO EET. Edit: Also, updated OP to include my tutorial on recoloring.
